The Cruise in will be hosted by Hot Rod Cruisers of Front Royal. The cruise will be the 3rd Saturday of every month starting in April and running through October. There will be a 50/50 and a trophy presented at the end of the cruise every month. Music will be provided by DJ Eddie Smith. All cruise in's start at 4pm and run until 8pm. cooters in the Country and Hot Rod Cruisers of Front Royal are not responsible for damages.
Every other Friday during the summer the town of Luray has a variety of bands play for your enjoyment. This starts at 7pm right in the heart of town on Main St at the Ruffner Plaza
Summer Season includes performances every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday at 8:00 PM through the end of August.
At 117 feet in height, the Luray Singing Tower contains a carillon of 47 bells. The largest bell weighs 7,640 pounds and is six feet in diameter. The smallest weighs a mere 12 ½ pounds. Recognized as one of the country's major carillons, 45-minute recitals are scheduled regularly throughout the spring, summer and fall.
2nd Annual Night Sky Festival! Celebrate the valuable resource of dark skies through guest presentations by astronomy experts, Ranger Programs, and viewing the beautiful night skies that Shenandoah National Park protects. We'll also safely view the solar eclipse on Monday, August 21. The weekend will include constellation tours, solar scope viewing, telescope viewing, children's activities, audio-visual presentations, star parties, hands-on activities, and more! Activities take place in a variety of locations throughout the Park.
