The GPS entry directions are confusing. DO NOT follow directions to turn into Tanager Rd. Turn into the driveway with the little KOA enter sign.

It was fine. Our site wasn’t particularly pretty. However staff was nice. The store was well stocked.

When we reserved the spot weeks ahead there was no mention of any events going on during our stay. Upon arrival we noticed the park was packed and there was apparently a Halloween event with people and kids running everywhere. We set up and planned to eat with local friends that we had reservations with. Then received a text message telling us we were locked in due to the event.

We stayed in October and they go above and beyond for the kiddos for Halloween month. The park is quiet and the staff is friendly. So much to do in Louisville we will definitely come back. I only hate the change in the rates and wish KOA would do a weekly rate like all other parks in America.

This was our second time to stay at this location. It is clean & well maintained. There are a lot of amenities for families & pet owners. The staff is very attentive.

Safety was your number one priority (besides FUN!) and as a parent of littles, I so much appreciate that! Your facilities are clean and plentiful. We enjoyed Halloween weekend so very much and created many memories with our family and friends. Thank you so much for making that happen! (I could do without the airplanes flying overhead, but I know you have zero control over that!)

Our campsite #272 was not very well set up. If the RV is not as far to the front as possible the sewer connector will be up hill. I decided to park back some so my neighbors would not hit their heads on my bedroom slide. The sites were very narrow. The fire pits and tables are across the road.The grandkids were disappointed that the jumping pillow has been removed. For the price not a great value.

A group of us stayed at your KOA to go to the Jack O'Lantern spectacular. Had a great time at both places. I also greatly appreciated the gentleman who took my LP tank had it filled up paid for and brought it back to my camper.

We stayed for one night while moving from NY to TX via an RV. Check in after hours was easy and we found our spot no problem, hooked up, slept, then left in the morning with no issues. Will definitely stay again if we do another road trip!

Bathrooms were a mess. Toilets wouldn't flush, full and overflowing from when we got their until we left. Our site was under a walnut tree and nuts all over the ground. Hard to walk without falling. Rake them up. Host were freindly.

Clean and well kept, but site sizes and proximity to neighbors certainly does not match the per night charge. I would more expect a $40/night fee.

WiFi would connect, but rarely worked. 98% of the time it did not have internet connection.

Campground is OK. Most sites gravel, could use grading. Woodsy and pleasant. Staff folks friendly and helpful despite dealing with water repair issues that temporarily closed laundry. Close to Bourbon Trail distilleries, the Arboretum, and Bearnos Pizza in Shepherdsville delivers!

Lovely grounds very pet friendly. Both I and my dog felt welcome. Loved the trick or treating.

We were arriving from Nashville and time was changing. We wanted to have a nice evening with a wood fire but store was closed and nobody was able to supply wood…. But someone was there to show our spot.. what if that gentleman would have couple bags of wood??? We were disappointed ����

Convenient park but too expensive

Called in April for 2 sites near each other,was told there were buddy sites open. Was told map would be incorrect since they were working on them. We arrived-they were not buddy sites. Table/fire ring were across road. Railroad ties in place to hold gravel but not connected. Daughter stepped on one and fell when it rolled off into next campsite drive. Paid $ to reserve sites we were mislead about.

Great patio location. Very pleasant surprise with Halloween celebration activities. Lots of activities for any children that might be camping. Would consider staying here again if our travels required.

Workers at the desk were very nice and helpful. It is a very nice campground. One of the Assistant Managers was not nice. He never smiled and refused to help when we had a problem because they were going to close the gate and lock it so no one could come or go during a specific time. He refused to help with our dilema. I understood the reason of the closure, but not alteration. Never smiled.

Very friendly staff all smiling! They did a wonderful job on Saturday for their Halloween celebration. Fun for the kids and adults. We were just here a few days from California and would definitely come back. What a great find! Keep up the fun!!!

Had electric issues the first night. This required us to run the RV generater due fluctuations in the voltage which caused the GFCI to kick off so most of our AC outlets would not work. The maintenance man was able identify and correct problem on day after we arrived. Hydraulic jacks on RV would not work. Voltage appears to have caused this. Reset system when we got home. Works fine now.

We had a great time. We had a 1.5 year old and a 7 month old with us. A baby swing sure would have been nice. I would give a 5 star if there were just something more for the smaller kids. I saw alot of babies on hips and in strollers. I know mine love to swing.

We loved our stay at the Louisville South KOA! The site is well situated, and there are so many activities. Staff were very friendly, and even though the site was packed, it was nice and quiet at night. We will definitely be back!

Clean campground. It's tight, but most KOA's are. Perfect for quick overnight stay.
