We always feel like family & love Kurt, Lori, Tyler & the whole gang! We have camped with them for 10 years or more.

We had a great time. Everyone was very friendly and even remembered my kids names each time we went into the store! The campgrounds were very well kept and very clean. We were very impressed. We would definately like to come back again very soon. My kids did not want to leave!!

Still our favorite camping destination! Had a family outing with 9 adults and 6 children...and several pets. Everyone had a wonderful time! The kids loved the pool and activities. The cable tv and internet access were great, although not used very much due to the beautiful camp grounds and endless local attractions. Also, need to mention the helpful and very friendly staff. Thank you, all!!!

Nicest facility that I have been to. Would absolutely recommend this facility to anyone coming to this area. Cleanest restroom and shower facility that I have seen at ANY public or private facility.

We loved how clean everything was from the bathrooms to the pool to our camping spot. The staff was friendly as well. We've been telling everyone how much we enjoyed it! Keep it up and thank you!

We enjoyed our stay very much, the site was large and laid out nicely which makes it convenient and easy to set up. We are already planning a return trip.

kurt and lori always make the camping outing a pleasure. Again this year, they have added upgrades to the sites and grounds and keep the facility well manicured and clean.

We have taken our pop up two other times there. This time we decided to stay in a small kamp cabin. We just loved it. Best KOA I know.

Well maintained campground.

Our first trip to Hocking Hills. When we arrived at the KOA we were greeted by their friendly staff. The lots were very spacious. Restrooms and showers were very clean. We would definately go back and would recommend this KOA. In fact, we commented that this KOA would be in our top three.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

WOW - thanks for the high rating! We look forward to having you stay with us when you are in the area again.

Great location and great campground, we always enjoy our stays here!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Hocking Hills KOA. This was our first time for staying at a KOA. Our kids (girls 8 and 10) enjoyed all of the activities offered! Everyone at KOA was very friendly and answered any questions we had. It was very clean with nice amenities. We will definitely be back!

This was the first time for our family to go camping and it was a WONDERFUL first time experience! I am still shocked on how clean the "shower house" was! I am already planning my next get away with KOA!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are so glad your first camping experience was with us and that you had such a great time! We hope you make many more great family memories camping at KOA. Hope to see you around the campfire again.

The facilties, grounds and sites were all exceptionally well maintained, clean and quiet...even on a busy holiday weekend The staff was very informative and friendly. I will definitely stay there again. They do require you to purchase their firewood which is fine...but the wood they supply you with is a joke. Basically a bundle of kindling, burns up in no time.

Our stay was the first of many more to come. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and appreciate the level of service and care taken in all aspects. The grounds are beautifully kept and the daily activities are a nice little extra that sets you apart. Extremely friendly staff. A++

Bathrooms are clean and heated. Staff is very friendly and helpful, enjoyable to talk to. Other campers are friendly and the park is family friendly.
May 28, 2013
The facilities were really nice. The bathroom was very clean and nice. The sites were were larger than any other KOA we've stayed at. One of the employees was very particular about making sure that rules were followed, even rules that weren't posted. The campground had lots of activities and included the activities at the state parks, which was nice.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Were glad you found the activity schedule helpful. The state park naturalist has great programs and we encourage our guests to check them out. Safety and comfort of all our guests is important, sometimes we have to ask guests to do or not do something that is not noted on our guest services guide.

The facility was very clean. Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. The campground roads are all very narrow and only gravel paved...a bit challenging if you are towing a larger trailer. Firewood bundles were $5 ea. & only filled with small pieces of wood. If you have an RV & want to put a tent on the site for kids they will charge you extra.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thanks for your feedback. Some roads are narrow due to the hilly terrain our area is famous for. We keep larger RVs in areas that they can maneuver and place popups and smaller RVs on sites with access that is appropriate for them. Firewood is $4.50 a bundle or 5 bundles for $19.50 and we deliver!
May 28, 2013
Looking forward to going back. Staff very friendly and helpful.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thanks! We look forward to having you stay with us again.
May 28, 2013
Nice people that run the camp grounds, no one drove around to pick up trash had to lug it to dumpsters. Also the firewood was super dry and burned too quickly . Too expensive to buy there. Had to go outside of camp to get good wood. Other than that nice place.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We appreciate your comments. We are a small park and have a limited staff so our guests are asked to put their own trash in the bins. They are conveniently located at the exit and many folks drop them off as they are driving out. Our firewood is $4.50 a bundle while many locals charge $5 or more.

KOA is a place you can count on! Very nice campground for every type of person! KOA built a good name for themselves and if you aren't familiar with an area, you'd do well to find a KOA!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Very nicely said! There's camping. And there's KOA.

To whom it may concern, I would like to thank you and your staff for all you help with my stay there, I came in on Friday night and when I got up Saturday morning I noticed that my rear tire on my Harley was showing threads which is very unsafe to ride and I had just pulled a motorcycle camper up there from Cincinnati Ohio. I asked the girls in the store camp and they suggested I talk to Ear

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thanks so much for sharing. We were more than happy to help you with your tire dilemma. It was our pleasure to help get you back on the road again quickly. Happy camping!

Always a great stay at Hocking Hills. This was the 1st time that have enjoyed some of the extra things going on around camp. The shows and ice cream sundae was geat, abd the kids had a great time also.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

So glad you had such a good time. Who says all the fun is just for the kids...of course we always love to see them having a great time!
May 28, 2013
Your Kamground is great. Great events scheduled. However, the only 2 problems I had with your Kamground was your fire wood is poor quatlity and does not last long. Would be better if wood can be brought in. I saw some with their own wood. A very big problem you have is your water has sulpher smell to it. Very bad.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thanks for sharing. The trees in Hocking Hills add much to its beauty. We ask people to leave firewood at home because moving wood threatens it. Our water is from a well and has iron in it, what you smell is probably from the anode rod in the water heater. Many campers use an in-line water filter.
May 27, 2013
Very nice campground, clean, orderly, safe. Bathrooms had lines, showers had cold water, only two of the toiletes flushed. Firewood is a joke, $20 for 5 little bundles of mostly pine and you cant bring your own wood is a scam. Ash borrer is everywhere!!!!!!!!!!! Need more restrooms!!!!! Raccoons everywhere at night.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thanks for your comments. Holiday weekends are very busy but we were not made aware of any problem with hot water and all of our toilets were in working order. EAB is just a small part of the problem with moving firewood -gypsy moth, Asian long-horned beetle & wooly adelgid threaten our area also.
May 22, 2013
Impressed with size of the sites. Personal friendly and always available. Bathrooms very clean/laundry also. Propane grill on site was wonderful. Only complaint was that on our site (#14) when it rained the brick patio did not drain so it was a big puddle. We are planning on visiting again..possible in the fall.
May 21, 2013
Very nice facilities! Great bath house, site was terrific. Will definitely return.
May 21, 2013
Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgable about area attractions. Loved the cabin and the whole campground was so fresh and clean. Love the little detail of flowers and artwork.
May 21, 2013
Site 12 was awesome as were the yellow shirts.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Glad you liked your campsite. And the yellow shirts are awesome, but not as awesome as our campers!
May 20, 2013
Great place with good people. Very clean.
May 20, 2013
Folks are friendly. The camp is quiet and clean. Family friendly... We'll be back to stay again for sure.

Deluxe site was very nice, bathrooms fantastic, kids enjoyed gem mining, nice that basket ball was at hoop. Everything was very clean, even game room. Only down sides were loud hum from water treatment, price of wood, and street coming in(not under your control)
May 17, 2013
Very cleaN AND FRIENDLY STAFF. bUILT ON A HUGE HILL AND A ONE WAY ROAD TO THE CAMPGROUND MEANS VERY TIGHT IF SOMEONE COMING THE OTHER WAY. fRIENDS WITH US COULD NOT STAY AN EXTRA HOUR DUE TO THIS REASON. nICE FAIRLY LEVEL SITES BUT ALSO BUILT ON HILLY TREAIN, DIFFICULT FOR KIDS TO RIDE BIKES.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Our area is famous for its hills and beautiful setting. They can make riding a bike a challenge but many still do! Because Pattor Rd is narrow, we do ask folks to check out on time so they dont meet another camper travelling in for their stay.
May 16, 2013
Wonderful weekend at the Hocking Hills K.O.A. They take great pride in every aspect of the operation. Thanks!
