Spectacular Colors of Fall Foliage
Nature's beauty is on display when the leaves change to bright reds and yellows. There is no way to predict when the "peak' colors will be but a sure bet is between the last week of September and the 1st two weeks of October. You can take day trips in whichever direction in search of the spectacular colors and see some of the unbeatable scenery at the same time.
Amongst the largest and one of the most diversified games in the country, the NH Highland Games and Festival includes the Gathering of the Scottish Clans, with over 60 clans and societies; Massed Bands; Sheepdog Trials; Celtic World Music Concerts; the New England Regional Scottish Fiddle Championship; International Scottish Athletics; New England Highland Dance Championships; New England Solo Piping Drumming Championships; Scottish Harp (Clarsach) other instrumental competitions. Sugar Hill Fall Festival of Arts
Enjoy a Fall Festival of arts, crafts, artisan demonstrations, hand-made and home-baked goods, other vendors along the street, and under the tents at the Crapo Building; inside if inclement weather. Concerts and entertainment for all ages scheduled throughout the weekend.
Littleton Art Show
36 Artist's Lined downtown Main Street 2012 - Over 500 people attended the show, over 40 cars featured in the Littleton Lion's Club Annual Antique Car Parade. Marketed with several other events going on in town that week-end to make Downtown Littleton a destination. Great shops on main street to check out at the same time.............and don't forget to stop and play or listen to one of six pianos always on Main Street.
