Place may be a work in progress. Employees where very helpful and informative. Ok for a rest stop. A lot of full or seasonal guests but was not junkie. The grounds needed a real grooming in some areas of the park. They need a person who gives attention to detail as many small things could be remedied easily in all departments. The pool looked as if it had been inoperable for a while.

Best dog park ever. Site was clean. Staff was friendly. The only thing I would change is they don't sell ice. Closest store is couple of blocks away. Loved seeing the bunnies at the camp ground.

Everything was great until I took a shower walk to the Laundry to check on our laundry and someone stole my travel soap holder and my soap from the shower room, I reported it to the KOA attendant but she said no one turned it in.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the entire area was attractive and clean !!

Campground was a little tight for big rigs might have had an issue if the campground was full. Not a lot in the town of Limon, would recommend if you’re just passing through. Great for dog lovers they have two dog parks and the one in the front of the campground is great, big and with toys and agility course.

Sites are very tight and I mean tight we couldn’t seat beside our trailer we had to seat behind, dog park was dirty. Lots of highway noise, we pass next time for the price…

Not very inviting but when you need to stop you take what’s available. Bland. Dirty laundry area, machines need to be clean on the outside, floor needed to be swept. Wouldn’t stop again.

Clean and easy to pull into off the freeway. Great place to stop for the evening. Lots of pull through spots too

Clean Cabins, Clean Bathrooms, Clean areas throughout the KOA. Great place for an overnight stay or a staging point for going to The Paint Mines, Sandy Creek Massacre sight, Limon Wetlands, and a couple other sight seeing locations. There are No real walking/hiking trails or any sort of night life in Limon!

Thanks for your fine service! We were delighted to find the Limon KOA while traveling in the area. We appreciate the easy check-in as we arrived quite late. The site was easy to locate and to hook up. We met some delightful folks the following morning as well. Thanks for answering the phone when we called after hours to try to arrange a site. We hope to see you again in our future travels.

Difficult to find campsite, lacked number markings. People arrived at 2:30AM and made noise. Low power users should not subsidize high power users. I recommend meters then lower low and no power costs.

So the campground itself is very clean and open. What we didn’t realize coming from another state that not only is it across the highway from a PRISON but also a strip club with a huge XXX sign and a sex toy shop right next to that… and it’s behind a really sketch run down trailer park. Nice place to stay overnight while traveling. Very friendly staff. Wish there was more shade because the weather was very hot when we were there.

We feel this KOA is a good place to stop for the night or spend several days here as a base camp. We felt the upgraded tent sites are worth traveling extra distance to stay here. This KOA is no secret as it is always quite busy. Reservations during the warmer months are strongly encouraged. We visited May 2024
