With more people looking to get outside in the summer months, America’s national parks can feel a little too much like amusement parks rather than wilderness escapes. Here are some tips to avoid the crowds and make the most of your national-park vacation.

Local Area

Bennett Spring state Park

This park is a major fishing spot for trout fisherman. It flows a nice blue/green cool water of 100 million gallons a day up out of the ground forming an instant river. It is stalked daily with over 500 trout. If you catch a trout you can bring it home or to the state park restaurant and they will cook it for you as part of your meal..
This park has a bait shop, a visitor center, play ground, fish hatchery, lodging, campground, restaurant and many miles of hiking trails. Usually the ice cream booth is open if that sounds good to you. Or just come and feed the fish at the hatchery and enjoy the natural beauty of this spectacular park.
