We had a great time in spite of the weather being a bit spotty. The only downsides were that breakfast was not available. We last came in 2019 and they had breakfast. Also, when it rained the game room was locked shut. No explanation why the game room cannot simply be left unlocked all day, but especially if it is rainy.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Things have changed since 2019 and Covid. Breakfast is now and was available to you in the coffee shack. The activity building was closed for maintenance on the weekend you were here. It is opened during the hours posted on the schedules that are available throughout the park. Happy Kamping!

Everything was great. The only complaint is how difficult it was to open the pocket door to the bunk bed room in out cabin. But other than that the stay was just as great as always!

Great place. A little tight with our large fifth wheel (40 foot), but they helped guide us around. Great activities for kids, great pool and recreation areas. And very close to all the fun of Leavenworth!!

Initially the stay was great and I thought the staff were friendly. The facilities were nice and well maintained too. The reasonI am leaving a 1 star review and a likelihood of returning as 1 is because we were charged without notice an extra $50 hours after we left. We checked out before 10AM. We stayed to buy ice cream, coffee, and gem bags. They charged us extra for staying without tell us!!

It is vitally important to make room for the next set of guests coming on park and you were asked to move your vehicle from our staging lanes. You didnt move after two hours and were charged accordingly per policy in our guest service guide and website.

This was a first time visiting this campground and we will definitely come back. The staff was so friendly and helpful. There were family friendly activities to keep you busy all week.

Comfort stations were great. Would be a great spot if staying at a cabin. We stayed at tent site 31 where a sprinkler was on nonstop and you can hear the train as well as people in a house nearby playing extremely loud music.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

It is unfortunate your stay was less than satisfactory. The sprinklers are there to deter bears and to protect the campground since we are heading into fire season. The trains are over two miles away which we are not allowed to move them. The neighbors noise should have been reported to desk.

When booking my stay, the advertising claimed to be a powered site. Naturally this is great for an EV driver. Then the moment you arrive, they plaster signs around that EV charging is not allowed yet make no mention of that restriction in their deceptive advertising. For reference my site had a proper 50amp plug.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our pedestals are not designed for this type of electrical activity and the use is at your discretion. The QR code on the labels clearly give information on the affects of not properly charging EV's which needs to be read.

This was our 3rd time staying here. By far the best KOA period! Location is quiet with the sounds of the river near by. Everything was clean and the staff very helpful. Downtown Leavenworth is within walking distance.

The gals at check in were extremely friendly and helpful, then we had a man show us to our spot. The campground was clean and well maintained. Even though the gal at check in said it was a "kid fest" with lots of things for children to do, we found that our spot (closer to the entrance of the park) was very quiet. They even had us put our trash out during the day for them to pick up for us!

We are so excited you enjoyed your stay! It is great to hear that with over 250 kids on park your area of the campground was quiet. They were likely at the pool, with our awesome activities staff ir getting ice cream from our coffee cabin.

This campground is perfect for families with kids. So many fun daily activities, pool, playground, movie nights and activities for parents like wine tasting and live music. Wish we could have stayed another week!

I reserved a deluxe patio site but the one they tried to put me in was not even close, they quit watering most of the park so it’s all dirt & weeds, hot tub closed, they quit serving breakfast, they stopped running the shuttle into town. We have stayed here a few times in the past and it was great but unfortunately it’s gone way down hill

Its unfortunate your stay was not desirable. In previous stays you utilized site lock to pick a specific site so you could let your dog potty on the grass. As to amenities on our website, there are now two dog parks, a new city transit system and a coffee cabin which offers breakfast items.

The staff was great! Very friendly and accommodating. The cabins were well appointed - beds too firm. This was the second year of a family gathering, but the cost has become too unreasonable. We booked 5 cabins, 3 RV spots and one tent site. Unfortunately - due to the cost of day-passes and parking passes - makes me sad to say - we will not be able to return next year.

Not a beautiful park like it use to be, the view was the back of Safeway and apartments. Not what was expected for such a great area like Leavenworth. We won’t be back.

It was wonderful--everything we needed! The pool was closed on our last day until after check out so that was the only thing that wasn't ideal. We had some very sad kids. I requested a late checkout so they could swim for a little bit at least, but was told no.
