Totally surprised at this little gem right off of I-25. Very friendly team and nice spot in the pines. Certainly was surprised that we heard minimal traffic noise from the highway.

Great overnight stay clean restrooms and showers awesome front office personnel the customer service was excellent. Flossie is super sweet the breakfast �� was delicious and well worth the $8 pp. Will stay there again next time we come through Las Vegas NM.

It was very easy to make a reservation. The camp host called us to verify our stay and offer any discounts. She was very friendly and kind. We truly appreciated the "human" touch in a world of electronic communication!

Very poor water pressure..only 20 psi. Numerous electrical outages. Nice and quiet. Friendly and helpful office staff.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We always advise campers with low water pressure to fill their tanks and use their own water pump. The few time per year that we have had power outages have been for the whole area, not just the campground. That is beyond our control.

We arrived after the office closed without a reservation. We were able to self register and an employee came our and helped us find our space. We stopped in the office in the morning and Flossie was very friendly and answered questions. We would try to stay there again in the future.

Very nice clean campground. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The sites are very nice size, plenty of room to move around and level. Bathroom was clean, although the showers are smaller than the shower in my camper. Unfortunately, there is not a lot to do in the Las Vegas, NM area or we would visit here more often.

A LOT TO DO HERE! Close to 2 Million acres of wilderness, mountain lakes and national forest 15 miles to the west of of Campground. 8,672-acre wildlife refuge and marsh 5 miles from the center of town. Beautiful Pecos National native ruins just off Interstate 25 (25 Minutes). Old Mexican/US border

Our spot was nice. A little awkward backing our truck in at night after going out. Think we like the pull thru sites with trees better.

Had to lay over an extra day because of high winds. Staff were very accommodating and made no fuss over our plan changes. Best part of our two nights was breakfast the next morning! At the very least, breakfast will keep us coming back. Now, if I could just find those sausages somewhere!

We’ve stayed here many times & will continue to do so traveling around NM. The staff are always amazing. Bathrooms are very clean. The dog run is spacious.

Great place! Office staff SUPER welcoming and they love dogs here! The doggie poop bags and treats received at check in were appreciated by dogs and people alike. We weren’t able to stay for it but they do a huge breakfast spread if you are interested. Dog park was spotless! Would definitely stay again!

Just don't go there in the winter. Their snow removal is pretty weak. The site we were assigned was not cleared so we ended up taking a site that was cleared. In short, the man that was there in the evening was not very happy and very rude. If I had more space to write my story I would explain.

Yes we had cleared your site from snow but with the very windy conditions it got covered again with 2 to 3 inches, which is beyond our control. We were very disappointed you took someone else's site.

Very nice sites, pull through long enough to stay hooked up to our 5th wheel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean restrooms and showers. Would definitely stay again and recommend this KOA!

We only stayed one night but we had a nice stay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating as I had to move our reservation in a day. It's a great campground with lots of trees. My only complaint was that the site could have been more level and we had no cellular service, but that's not KOA's fault. I definitely would stay there again.

So, some people rate the places by the things that they are able to do there. This KOA was off the beaten path, quiet, clean and the staff was over the top friendly. From check-in to leaving, they were great. They had a little breakfast in the morning that was delicious and a great way to meet the staff and visit with other campers. I believe we made new friends! We will definately return.

My husband and I did a quick overnight stay there recently, as we were heading home from our trip to Arizona. We liked this KOA a lot! Friendly people, clean, nice store, and the RV spaces are in the trees and are private. We took advantage of the 8.00 breakfast and it was wonderful! We would stay here again.

I called just before the office closed, they were helpful, were able to get me in, I was able to pay, all over the phone before I even showed up. They made sure a map with my name was on it, circled where my spot was, directions in the park, did a GREAT job helping me out. Great service, park was clean and nice yet still close enough to the highway to get going the next morning.

The manager, Flossie and the assistant manager, Susan were phenomenal. I’m not sure how often we will be in that area, but it was very enjoyable and they were very accommodating.

Self checkin with well executed site directions on map. Park had a good "camp" feel with lots of trees and various levels. Did not use amenities.

This is a great place to stay! The owner was super helpful when a neighbor complained about the electric - turned out the service was fine & his "not-name-brand" surge connector was wrong! Close enough to interstate to be convenient, but far enough away there was not traffic noise. Lots of trees, a decent dog run as well as a good breakfast for $8.00. A hidden gem worth checking out.
