The staff are wonderful. Plus there's a great breakfast option for $$. We stayed an extra day/night to get out of the New Mexico high wind warning because the Las Vegas KOA has sheltering trees.

Nice big spaces with full hook ups in a natural setting make this an enjoyable spot but the friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere make it even better. We arrived late and staff picked the perfect spot for our rig. We were greeted warmly in the office the next morning and we will surely stay again sometime in the future.

We dropped in at 8:30 pm, the host came out to greet us, walked us to an open spot, asked us if we wanted breakfast (yes), and said we'd settle in the morning. After a long day of driving, that was really nice. We found clean, warm facilities, nice areas for dogs and kids, and the breakfast was great. Both hosts were at breakfast and, really important to me, were friendly and helpful.

Nice dog park, easy site access, and BEST of all: The woman behind it all! She was so friendly and kind. And the gift shop is full of lovely, affordable Talavera pieces!

People are friendly and the camp is clean. We have stayed there before and will definitely stay there again.

Just an overnight, so I did not use most of the amenities available. But, clean campground, good gravel roads in the campground. A big CONGRATS to whomever designed the sewer connection, as it was at ground level. So many have them sticking up 6" to 9", which is too low for many people's dump valve. This one was flush with the ground, which is how it should be (in my opinion).

I think I overpaid for my one-night stay and I will not be stopping there again. The best part of this location is the dog park and we no longer have a dog.

Not much in the way of amenities, not very close to anything interesting

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

There are several things to do in the area. Fort Union civil war fort, hot springs, game preserve, Teddy Roosevelt museum. We also have 2 historic hotels and restaurants. Hermits peak for hiking. I wish you would have asked.

This is a beautiful park and the hosts/owners are amazing! They go out of their way to make your stay unforgettable. The homemade breakfast was just what we needed to continue on with our travels! Thank you, and we will be back!

Standard check-in for a KOA. One thing about this campground is they offer a hot breakfast buffet in the morning which is convenient. Staff was very friendly.

The staff went over and above to make us feel welcome. The laundry and the shower rooms were spotless! Having the breakfast buffet (good old home cooking) was an added plus. The best KOA we’ve been to.

Self checkin with well executed site directions on map. Park had a good "camp" feel with lots of trees and various levels. Did not use amenities.

This is a great place to stay! The owner was super helpful when a neighbor complained about the electric - turned out the service was fine & his "not-name-brand" surge connector was wrong! Close enough to interstate to be convenient, but far enough away there was not traffic noise. Lots of trees, a decent dog run as well as a good breakfast for $8.00. A hidden gem worth checking out.
