Extremely friendly and helpful KOA Team members who were a pleasure to deal with. Will be back again! There was someone camped in my site and the KOA team handled it perfectly. Great, great stay! The bear warnings are REAL!

We didn't really like the layout of the campground or the location next to the busy highway. The traffic was extremely noisy most of the night but especially starting early morning with the big trucks. Slept the next night with all the windows closed and it was better. Would most likely not stay here again.

for larger RV's the space we were assigned didn't really fit. I would recommend Tahoe valley campground down the street for large rv's. Looks like a great spot if you are a tent camper and want good facilities

We stayed at this koa for a little over a week. The staff are very helpful and attentive they made our stay very nice and relaxing. The facilities are maintained and always clean.

Excellent location in relation to Lake Tahoe. It's not the best location when it comes to noise - too much noise coming off the Hwy 50. The hosts are great, very pleasant and helpful. Nice pool. One thing I would suggest is emptying dumpsters more often. Overflowing dumpster near site 50 attracted a bear while we were there. To me it's all part of the experience, but others won't agree.

We had a great time! The site was clean upon arrival. Staff was friendly & helped us back in our 35 foot class A. Peaceful. Grandchild loved Pool.

The campsite was very expensive, there were no bear boxes, but there was a bear in my campsite. We sat in the car and watched the bear eat our food. The ash dump and pine needle dump were at the back of my site.

Freindly, clean, nice campsite, vers small pool but good enough to cool off. including a bear in the middle of the night! Don't forget to look away your Fooooood!

Great stay. Sites are really close and the last night our neighbor ran his generator all day long. We couldn't sit in our site without smelling the generator....it was an awful smell, so we had to sit inside.

We stayed there for a week and really had a nice time. Staff was absolutely fabulous. Had a amusing time watching the campers go crazy over the bear incident. I'm sure the bear is still running and will never visit the koa campground again. Considering the masses of people here the staff kept bathrooms as clean as ever! Maybe a few more large garbage cans so mister bear is not tempted. Thank you

Staff and Amenities were great! The only reason for the low rating was the road noise from the highway which is very close to the camp sites.

Camp spaces were not level and very small. Unable to hook up sewer drain without blocking roadway. Campground over crowded and unkempt. Restrooms were filthy and disgusting.

People who run/work there were absolutely amazing!! Clean facilities, pool.. Horrible set ups, that we were packed ontop of each other. No room for kids to play catch, etc. Garbage bins overflowing for both days. Way too expensive for such tight quarters and no place to empty trash.

Our spot was very compact and the highway is very close so you can hear cars most of the time. The pool was nice for the kids and the kids play area was nice.

Staff was extremly helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Facilities were very clean. Love the extras; Saturday barbeque and Sunday service. Only negative is sights were very dusty. No fault of the staff. Bring area covering to lay on the ground. Great place to camp. Beautiful scenery.

This place is beautiful, smells like the great mountain air. Very kid oriented, staff was nice and helpful. Sites were nice and only 6 miles from Lake Tahoe. Would definitely go back.

Very friendly staff. Unfortunately the cable did Not function at all. One of my neighbors had the same problem had the same issue. The 'fine print' states, "select full hookup sites have cable tv." For $90 bucks a night, this is unacceptable!!! They insisted that it was OUR problem in spite of having cable the 5 previous days on our previous campground!

Spots were tight, but you are in the mountains, by a stream and a beautiful lake. People who comments on price - have you check hotels rates? I think it was worth the price.

The grounds are nice how ever you have to be a very experienced truck and trailer driver to fit into the upper spaces. They should not give those spaces to anything but small RVs and small trailers. I watched more than a few get take. Out by the rocks and trees. Showers, laundry, and pool were. Dry nice and clean. A bit much on the religion thing tho.

Check out is @ 11, hwy 50 toward home was closed due to an accident, S Tahoe KOA let us stay until the hwy was reopened. We really appreciated it.

We had the best time. This is the only campground we will stay at. We are treated like family our spot was so neat and clean with fresh firewood for us. We had echo creak behind us so beautiful. We will be back thank you for making our 7 year anniversary celebration one for the books. Love you and may God keep on blessing you!!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The morning that we were supposed to leave I found problems with the sewer system of our travel trailer. The staff was so very helpful and even allowed us extra time. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed along the creek for a week and truly enjoyed my stay. I was amazed how so many good sized RVs were able to fit in this park. It is a little tight in some spots. The staff is excellent, the hook ups in the right places, well supplied store, and you are close to so many activities. There is road noise but it doesn't bother you after the first day.

Bathrooms were dirty and shabby. Dumpsters were full and overflowing despite warning to not leave food and trash out for wildlife. Neighbors were loud and uncooperative with turning down their music, staff was unhelpful in asking them to turn their music down. Poor design of facilities led people to walk right through our campsite on their way to the bathroom. Overall it was a poor experience. :(

good amenities and beautiful scenery. Our spot was ridiculously small and the only route to get from the RV to the picnic table had us--literally---crawling over large rocks.

Fantastic Campground. There is a wild and scenic river that flows through the campground. Might even see a Bear or two. Very friendly staff. Excellent customer service. Conveniently located off a main road. A must stay!

Amazing experience driving through HWY 50 and meeting the Blizzard ( Mother nature). I enjoyed tremendously the masterpiece she was composing. Caltrans did a fabulous job clearing the road, and the collaboration between people was amazing.

Absolutely great time tent camping with the kids and dogs in the snow. The service was a 10/10. Would recommend.
