Very good experience. Spacious sites. Bathroom's were clean. Friendly staff. Definitely would go back. Some improvements: Longer store hours. Answer phones. Need to correct website, still under old place.

Horrible, the campground moved in an other place and did not advised us. Absolutely no amenities, no pool no nothing....old and dirty for twice the price...

It was a short stay, but it had everything we needed, easy access yo local fun. Clean

Unfortunately we expected a stay like when your Fox Run Rd KOA was operational so we were disappointed that there was no pool, no communal lodge and easy access to river from property. Probably wouldn't stay again unless upgrades to bring standards back to prior experience.

Great location to everything we wanted to do. Campsite was clean and taken care of. Store was very nice. Cons: Fire pit was way to close to the road on our site. The Staff drive those golf carts a little fast! See you next year!

The campground was very nice and clean. Everyone was extremely nice and welcoming, the sites were huge which is nice with the fifthwheel. My only negative for this visit is that there are a few really large pine trees that were just leaking pine pitch on everything. If it were a state campground I understand but a 100$ a night campground ?

Very clean and kept up park. We were on an RV site with full hookup that was very spacious. Front desk people were very friendly as well as the workers throughout the campground. My only complaint would be that the 5mph speed limit wasn't adhered to very well. Many cars were well over the speed limit as well as the golf carts from the workers. Too many little kids around that could be dangerous.

We had been going to the old fox farm rd location for over 30 years and had spent many Labor Day weekends there over the years. New location is a let down by comparison. Largely, it feels like it’s still under development with no pool, no food available, limited store hours, etc. all of this for nearly twice the price. staff & activities for the kids were great (text reminders A++) The sap all over everything was a lot to handle. I have to spend a lot of time getting it off from everything. The power outage was definitely a problem for us as we have a person was a c-pap, but that’s out of ur control. The last day there was raw sewage flowing out of the ground next to us definitely not great, pipe broke??

Clean, easy to navigate campground with attentive, professional and fun staff. Close to a small, clean park that has a small beach. For us, this was perfect.

We love this campground, it's so clean and well run. We even suggested it to some new to KOA campers with us. They really enjoyed their stay.

Not your typical KOA HOLIDAY.......no concrete pads......no pool.........my site had mud puddles in front of my camper door after a rain......all dirt roads????????? The staff and check in were fine. I understand KOA owns this park and I am sure you wouldn't tolerate this park if it was owned by a franchisee.

Would’ve appreciated more KOA-type amenities for families. Site was very muddy, more gravel would help. Wi-Fi was very spotty, and no cable hook up was disappointing. Also, there were campers not following quiet hours at all.

Josh is doing a fantastic job with his team and he saved our lives because we made reservation at wrong place, ie Wilmington, NC instead of Wilmington, NY!!!) TY Josh! Megan did extra miles to help us find dates to say for last minutes reservations: her help was VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. We aprpeciate also that garbage are pick-up on each site anytime of the day: this is a great initiave.

Full hookup pull thru site 75 with 34’ TT Full hookup. Staff were excellent. Site was good but had a slope to it front to back. Back was higher requiring 7.5” of blocks. Rest of the sites much better now as bad. Beautiful area and will be staying again. WIFI WAS GOOD.

We had expected to be at the old KOA down the road and hadn't realized it was sold and moved to the current location. On the up side, the restrooms were in good repair, and VERY CLEAN!!! The site was level, clean, large and wooded. Staff seemed to be cordial. Rec room was clean and all equipment worked. BUT the roads in this KOA need the pot holes filled. The quiet hours also need to be enforced.

The site #99 was excellent -- lots of room, clean, great location. The biggest deficit was the road in and out. The potholes shook my Class A all over. I also did not like the push button showers (noted by others in comments).

Nice, large campsite. The new location is, unfortunately, a tad undersupplied in the bathroom/sower house category. Very nice staff, but I wish there were a bit of a security presence at night. Look forward to seeing how they develop it as time goes on.

Wish for the amount we paid that there was sewer at the site which was 2 sites away. Because we were in site 69, we had to do some backtracking to get in the right orientation to dump at the only sewer dump point. Other than that, it was an ok campground.

Loved our site and the text when an activity was planned. My only complaint were the bathrooms. Very clean, but the bathroom and showers were in two different areas. No sinks in the shower building. Water was not hot enough for me and the shower heads were too high. We had site 37 very nice I would not have liked to stay in the other section of the camp grounds

We've stayed at the Lake Placid KOA twice before and that's why I booked to stay here for this year's visit. Honestly, I was disappointed to find out that location was closed and we were at a new location with far less amenities. The new site has tremendous possibilities but it is far from the KOA I thought we would be staying at and paid for.

The showers have no temperature control and the water stays on for maybe 30 seconds at a time, so you constantly have to keep pushing the button and the water is too hot!!

Beautiful campground and gorgeous trails to hike. Location was perfect for area attractions. Only complaint was the showers. I disliked the push button and was unable to adjust the water temperature, it was scalding. All staff were very pleasant and helpful! Very nice place to stay overall.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They helped us in planning our site seeing in and around the Lake Placid area. The site was good. Our only complaint were the road condition in and around to the sites. They are gravel and in dire need of repair for the potholes and roughness. Was very difficult maneuvering our 40ft Class A RV to the site.
