The KOA staff are very friendly and made our stay most enjoyable. Already looking forward to next year.

We stayed for 2 months and loved every minute. Everyone was very helpful and nice. We made several friends at this park.

We loved camping here! The staff was super friendly, and our tent site was beautiful. We had lots of running around to do and all of our stuff was safe and untouched when we returned to the site each night! We also loved the chili cook off, we arrived the day of and we're glad we made it!

Lake Panasoffkee KOA borders a canal to the lake so very pretty with good fishing. Campground staff and hosts very friendly and helpful. Many families come back every year! We will also be back in the future.

It was a short overnight stay. The property was ok. The clerk assisting us that night was so helpful and met me on my arrival late that night to make sure I could get my spot with no problems. Great person!
Feb 21, 2017
Trash pickup procedures not known, not printed in flyer. Fire rings needed for most sites. Staff great.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thanks so much for your input and your complement to the staff. We provide trash pick-up for overnight sites and that info is relayed to campers at registration when we go over the map and loctions. Fire rings are not advertised as being provided. Safe travels!

We had a poor site ... no concrete . Work trucks leaving at 4:00am. Disel trucks left running all hours. Koa personnel great.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your input. There were workers leaving at 4am. They were working nearby for a couple months. The diesels running all hours, though, wasn't in our park. May have been construction sounds from I-75 that was occurring for 2 nights. So sorry for that noise! Safe travels!

Nice boat ramp, and dock/marina-esque. Cabins are cement block buildings.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our cottages are like miniature little block homes with 2 BR, Living Rm, Kitchen, bath with shower, and screened in front porch.

It was great being on the lake. Staff was friendly and helpful. everything was neat and clean
Feb 15, 2017
After reading some of the reviews we were questioning staying there. But when we checked in the managers were very friendly and helped us setup. Clean restrooms nice pool and dock space. Daily activities if you are staying for a long time. I would go back in a minute. VFW and Moose right up the street.

The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful.Nice facilities. One thing to improve, maybe?? plant grass at the campsites, that sand is not very nice.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thanks so much for your input. You were on a pull thru site. We do have sand, but also grass between each site, and cement pads. Its hard not to have sand in Florida! Thanks for coming and we wish you safe travels!
Feb 14, 2017
Sites were too close together. As we were traveling with our dogs the small strip of grass was not much for them to be confined to

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thanks so much for your input. Campers may walk their pets on leash anywhere in the park and there is a fenced in off lease area as well. Safe travels!
Feb 11, 2017
nice place.
Feb 09, 2017
This is more like a Trailer Park than an RV campground. The sites are very dirty. Worst KOA that I've ever stayed at.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thanks for your opinion. So glad many others do not share it! KOA allows campers to leave within an hour of arrival with full refund. Yet you stayed for two days.....?
Feb 08, 2017
We arrived late, but they stayed and waited for us to check in. They even escorted us to our site on a golf cart, in the dark. Everyone was just so nice to us, unexperienced campers
Feb 08, 2017
Great stay!!! Staff was kind, courtesy, and positively responsive to our needs.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thanks so much! Loved having you and we hope you will return soon. Safe travels!
Feb 04, 2017
The office staff were very nice and the campground was well kept.
Feb 02, 2017
Nice little stopover. Water pressure was a little low but that would be my only critique.
Feb 02, 2017
No WiFi for the 9 nights we were there. Our site was tight and we did not have a picnic table or fire ring. People were nice & realize lightening took out the wifi but 9 nights & still not working?

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

So sorry for your inconvenience. WIFI is a free service as a courtesy to our campers. We had a direct lightning strike that did extensive damage. Some things just take time. Again, so sorry! We have picnic tables upon request. Safe travels
Feb 02, 2017
Site #17 no picnic table, not sure if this is a campground or mobile home park! 5:30 to 6:30 AM lots of trucks leaving park.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thanks for your feed back. Safe travels
Feb 01, 2017
Lovely lake. Airboat rides a short walk away.
Jan 31, 2017
people were very nice at $50.00/night we found it very expensive. When traveling we always try to stay at KOA's and the night before we stayed at Lookout Mountain, South [North Georgia]. lovely park and $35.00/night

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The rate you quoted was due to having 1 extra person on your reservation and no VKR card which would have saved you 10%. Safe travels!
Jan 30, 2017
Site was a little awkward. Hard to back into and couldn't reach all the utilities,
Jan 29, 2017
Loved this Campground so quiet peaceful clean and the owners are so nice and very pleasant we will definitely be going back again.
Jan 29, 2017
Very nice stay...Felt water pressure was very low at our site.
Jan 24, 2017
The campground has a very old and junky camping trailer right next to the pull thru sites. Occupants burned trash in their fire pit.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

At our park, we welcome campers from all walks of life. Not everyone drives a new RV, and that's ok with us. We wish for everyone to feel welcome. Burning cardboard in the fire pit is not permitted and we addressed that when it was brought to our attention. Safe travels!
Jan 23, 2017
We were on our way to Ruskin Fl and needed to get off the highway for a couple of nights. We has traveled from ME
Jan 17, 2017
Rates reseasonable to the other KOA we stayed at the last nights, on 75 the rates were 90 compare to 45. I would recommend your campground Bay Bayou a elite campground only 63 a night.
Jan 11, 2017
Very helpful
Jan 10, 2017
Enjoyed our stay except the dog park was clear down by the lake which made it impossible to walk late at night and wasn't lit. Also a lot of activity early in the morning and very loud.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We allow walking your dog on leash anywhere in the park. Thanks for coming. Safe travels!
Jan 10, 2017
Convenient location. Pull through site was large and level. No amenities nearby. Major construction at exit/on ramp

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are 20 minutes away from dancing, theater, shopping, many restaurants, 45 min to an hour from the coast on either side, one hour from Disney. We are convenient to literally everything! Plus activities calendar all winter.
Jan 08, 2017
We stopped here on our way from Atlanta to the Keys. Great location near both the entrance to the turnpike and I-75. People were very nice and helpful. Showers were very clean. Would stay here again.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thanks so much for coming! We enjoyed having you and look forward to your return!
Jan 07, 2017
Very tight. Had to go over a curb to our pullthru site. No picnic table. No satellite coverage. Weak wifi

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

So sorry for any inconvenience. The small curb is to direct the flow of rain water. Golf carts navigate it easily. Picnic tables are delivered to sites if requested. Thanks so much for your input!
Jan 03, 2017
Gentleman tried to put me backwards in campsite which caused a problem with my rig but when we pointed out that we were going in wrong compared to all the other RV's things worked out. Tight campground for big rigs. Great restrooms. Nice facility.
Jan 03, 2017
You have a wonderful bunch of people there. Always willing to help!! Thank you so much!!!
Jan 02, 2017
Great site - friendly staff. Only draw back was barking dogs, but the barking quit by 8 PM
Jan 02, 2017
Small terribly outdated bathroom with only 1&2 toilets & shower stalls. Entry door to office was filthy, not a good start. Littlest store I've seen yet offering not much of anything.New years party was about staff karaoke not about campers so very few attended.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We can only offer activities. If campers choose to celebrate New Years their own way, that is their choice. We respect that. The party was about the attendees, whomever they were! Thanks for staying 3 nights.
Dec 31, 2016
Pool was great. Lots were extremely small. Our picnic table was next to our neighbor's sewer connection. Staff very friendly and helpful
