Great stay as usual. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate. Shoutout to Justin for assisting me when I broke my ankle. Hopefully, the PUB with reopen soon.

I also have stayed most recently 5/14-5/16, however I did not receive a confirmation email or review email so I will put it here!! My wife and I are pleased with the Lake Isabella KOA . The entire staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Justin the grounds/maintenance guy. He always has a smile and a friendly “Hello”. The sites are always clean. We are always comfortable there.

A little disappointing from the last time we stayed there. Not as tidy; water went out for better part of a day. No more hayrides, ridable bikes, outdoor movies, ice cream social, arts & crafts, etc. Store has nothing to offer much like before. Just different management. Sad!

This KOA was the first campground we came to that closed bathroom stalls and shower stalls because of COVID, so now if there are people waiting to use the bathroom they have to wait in line together. The pool is open with no masks, but the stalls in the bathroom put you in danger of getting COVID. That doesn’t make sense. The campground was quiet and well maintained.

The tent camping spots at this location are on a raised platform. We have a rooftop tent & were told we would be unable to pull onto the platform. The person checking us in moved us to a back-in campsite and charged us $9 more without asking for our approval.

The facilities are complete, and public showers have 24-hour hot water, which provides guests with a very convenient experience. Very pleasant stay

Please clean the bathrooms during the posted times. Cleaner told me she was cleaning the bathroom early due to Covid. What does Covid have to do with the time????? Very inconvenient. The men’s room shower didn’t drain. Yuck!

Great campground! Staff was very nice and entire campground was quite organized. Very close to Lake Isabella and Kern River for fishing. Be prepared for the wind.

Nice park, but disappointed that there was no cable TV or even antenna TV. Very nice staff and they were able to provide a spot for us last minute. We had reservations up the road, but not only was it not maintained, but we couldn't park our RV in the spot assigned.

We only spent one night. Pretty much a night to wash clothes and clean up our RV.... Laundry room was VERY clean, showers were ok. Seem to be water on the floor in shower areas on the floor?? All clean. I was disappointed the pool was open but it was way to windy to take a dip. Pool look so nice and clean and inviting.

WE HAVE BEEN THERE SEVERAL TIMES, THEY ARE UNDER NEW OWNERS AND THEY HAVE CLEANED UP THE PLACE LOOKS GREAT, WE RIDE RZR RIGHT OUT THE KOA, IN WHICH OWNERS ARE VERY WELCOMING, I HAVE SEEN SOME COMPLAINTS OF RZR RIDING AROUND FYI WE HAVE NEVER SEEN ANY OTHER RZR'S THERE AND I KNOW IN FACT FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS GOING TO ISABELLA NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES, JUST FOLLOW RULES AND YOU BE GOOD GO.

Convenient site to stop at. I do love KOA’s, but this one needs a bit of work in the bathrooms. We travel in a van so we use the facilities quite a bit. The shower ran full flow of water, hey we are in California, it would be good to have low flow showers! Then, the drainage was not very efficient. I had to dress in a pool of water! Out of 3 sink areas, 2 were taken out, leaving ugly empty space

Had a fantastic stay at the Lake Isabella/Kern River KOW from 4/15 thru 4/19. We had an RV site and a cabin with 2 bedrooms. Even though the booking was made on two separate days, the staff realized that we were one party and gave us a cabin that was really close to our RV site. Jackie, Sadie, Craig and Justin are a great team and they take care of the property and their guests extremely well!

I liked most of everything....Bathrooms need improved, showers drains were not working very well and all the water ran into the toilet stalls. There were campers staying that had motor bikes and were doing donuts in front of our campsite and stirring up dirt, no one said anything, even complained and the campers still carried on in the evening. Other than that it was a nice place.

What a awesome place to stay. Space 10 was super level so didn't have to do alot to set up. KOA staff were excellent and professional super nice and out going we will make this campground our #1 stop if we ever stay in lake isabella. The manager "older guy" and the grounds guy gets a 10 star rating in my book they were on top of trash and maintenance around the park super clean Thank you KOA!!!!

Sewage system on camp especially in the lower spots not sufficient Playground dangerous Pool most days closed Handling of water splash chloride poorly: chloride was too highly concentrated: cloths were ruined (health effect?)

Friendly folks run this KOA. Their store was lacking some.basic items. They were getting the pool ready to open.May 14. Hooked our rig up with no problems and used our awning. Kiddie water play area stayed busy.

Great stay, friendly staff, low density and respectful guests (no noise or generators). The shower facility is excellent and socially distant. Well done!

The camp sites are well kept, laundry facility and restrooms clean. Staff are friendly and professional. Would have given a better rating except that the pool was open when we arrived on Monday. Tuesday through Thursday took the grand daughter and it was closed and didn't re-open for use. The spray park was non-functional. The playground play houses need attention and stabilizing.

We really enjoyed staying at the Kern River KOA. The RV & tent spaces are very well kept and clean. We love the Bark Park for the dogs. The store has some fun items for the kids to do. It’s a perfect spot to stay and close to many things to do. There were a couple of things that were disappointing; people who didn’t pick up after their dogs, and groups of kids who were very loud at night.

We had a pleasant stay but thought we would see the river or the lake. So we would warn people about that. Hence the lower rating. But otherwise service and our location were very satisfactory. Thank you

Never stayed at a KOA that allowed off road motorcycles and utvs to start up and Rev their engines while at campsite. I personally have a Can Am Maverick X3, there's a time and a place for everything but this wasn't what I expected, not a happy camper. Management did nothing even after I mentioned it very nicely. Trash dumpsters removed, new trash cans not adequate.

It was great customer service excellent. One thing I was sad that we only stayed 2 nights. It was one of those trips where you need a place to stay because you’re already on you’re way home. We want to come back and stay for a week. Love you volunteers have been trained very well to deliver good customer service.

Shower drain plugged slow flowing standing in water could not use sewer dump station not working left after 1day paid for 2 said no refunds because of on weekend will not return

The bathrooms could have been cleaner... the shower was pretty gross and the drain was clogged so I was in ankle deep water after about 5 minutes. Other than that it was a nice grounds, quiet and accommodating staff

The staff was awesome and very accommodating. The weather was so windy and cold that we didn’t get out much. But the grounds were great. Better weather would have been nice. They have a cool splash pad for the kids. Can’t wait to come back when it’s a little nicer.

Easy to make reservations and the staff was very helpful very knowledgeable about the area campground was clean a work in progress that was explained that they were doing upgrades which is not a problem Just a very nice little campground nice people very helpful we will more than likely stay there again in the future thank you so much

Very clean, little campground . The proprietors are very friendly and caring. Restrooms are clean and all in working order. The children enjoy the playground. The pool, winter time is clean . The store is well stocked. We had a glass of wine in the bar. With interesting and fun talk , I wish I got her name, the sweet lady that takes care of the campground. We stay there during Whiskey Flat days. It's in a perfect location.
