We had a blast, it was more of a relaxing thing for us, but I do recommend y'all getting more amenities for younger crowds.

Both Andy & Marly were welcoming ... professional yet personable. Enjoyed the Farmers' Market being so accessible. I was car-camping using a tent site near the restroom/shower room - very clean. For after business comers like me, I suggest using at least the camper's initials on the site map; I was not certain if the map was for me or for another late comer. THANK YOU

Bathroom near tent area was not working and the closest one was out as well. It was so dark walking from tent area to a bathroom that was near the office. Paid full price for a spot without bathroom use. Several cars stopped a few feet from sleeping area to throw boxes and trash into the dumpster.

The staff was super helpful and nice. They had our tent next to the bathrooms and a trash which was helpful with small kids. However, there were giant ant hills all over the camp ground. The dock was beautiful except for the duck poop all over. It doesn’t look like it gets cleaned very often. We did love the clean and beautiful bathrooms though! We will be back :)

It was a good stay! The people around were very nice we only rate it 4 starts because we were really looking forward to fishing but were told the fish haven’t came out cuz of the lake. We tried for a good 3 hours but inevitably gave up. Other than that we had a wonderful stay! The farmers market was a wonderful suprise! We will definitely be coming again

We had an amazing experience! The staff were all super friendly and accommodating. It was a holiday weekend and they had a water train which was a huge hit for both adults and big kids! Thank you so much for treating us like family! Definitely looking forward to our next visit!

Absolutely no shade at our tent site, pool is not covered as pictured. It was so hot we had to leave a day early.

Tent sites are lovely. Nicest campground restrooms I've ever seen. Very easy to get to. Convenient booking and check-in. Only complaint: industrial noise & traffic sounds. Not much that KOA can do about that. Moscovy ducks were very entertaining.

The very best tent camping site at any KOA I have stayed at. I plan on going back as soon as my schedule and weather allow. I really regret selling my camper and truck now!!! But having electricity and water at the site was a plus. We cooked on our NINJA

Such a fun place to tent camp at! The bathroom/showers were super clean and all the amenities and extra activities were so fun. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

The campground is beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. The sites are well spaced and the staff were very nice.

Campsite, while well equipped, was behind a dumpster (literally 15 feet from it). If we'd known, we wouldn't have stayed here. The camp itself seems focused for RVs and cabins, so it's crappy for tent camping. They don't have quiet hours, or they're completely ignored. It was extremely loud with ATVs and other vehicles until the early hours of the morning.

Everything was great for the most part. The staff was super nice and helpful. The only issues were that the grills at the pavilion were completely destroyed on the inside, missing the grates, and the pool was green. Other than that the tent site was awesome and the showers were conveniently close. The tree provided a good amount of shade over our tent as well. Will definitely come back!

Very Clean cabins and restrooms. Very nice/friendly people. Miscommunication about tent space area but manager corrected and apologized. We had a Great Time and would definitely visit again. Activities for younger children on Saturday left amazing memories for them. We had ALOT of FUN!

We had the most wonderful time! The campground was fabulous, & I think we had the best campsite of all! It had 2 shade trees that really kept us cooler in the 100+ heat. We had the bathrooms right next to our sight, & we had the pool practically to ourselves. We had all the things we needed from water & electricity to a station to wash dishes & fire pit. All was clean & in working orer! Loved it!

The staff at this location is amazing! We had some car trouble after arriving and Kenny was a huge help with a recommendation to have our car looked at. Every employee we encountered was friendly. I especially enjoyed speaking with the store staff.

From the time we arrived, we felt very welcomed. Check-in was a breeze and the kind woman who tended to me was very friendly and accommodating. We were able to find our campsite with ease. The grounds are so well kept and everywhere we looked we saw lovely surroundings. I honestly can't say enough good things about our experience. Thank you for everything Lake Conroe/ Houston North KOA!

We are tent campers, we reserved our site and liked the nice weather, low-noise environment of the Spring. As always, we appreciate the well-stocked lake that makes fishing so much fun! We plan on coming again soon, thank you-

Stayed at the Lake Conroe KOA for about 5 months in my fifth wheel RV while working in Houston. Great location with plenty of restaurants/shopping just a short walk or drive away. Very spacious sites through the park compared to other KOA's. All sites are paved and mostly level, definitely big rig friendly. Staff was great! Very responsive to inquiries and requests for maintenance (had an electrical pedestal issue early during my stay that was quickly resolved). As the weather started warming up, the maintenance team got busy with lots of little things around the park… repainting site numbers, fixing water leaks, etc… Only downside is that they don't really have a “Store” like other large KOA's. They have a few items but with the large office they have, there could be so much more. I'd definitely stay there again if I was in the area.

I recently stayed at this campground and overall had a pleasant experience. The place is very well-maintained with great amenities, and the sites are spacious and well spread out. The customer service and employees were excellent, providing a welcoming atmosphere. However, the only downfall for us was the presence of unsupervised children. While there are multiple families living there full-time, their children roam freely around the campground. Our lakefront site seemed to be a popular hangout spot for them, leading to some inconvenience as they left their bikes, scooters, and toys near our RV. I even had to politely ask a child to refrain from climbing the ladder on my RV. If you're considering booking a lakefront site, I recommend requesting one on the south side of the park to avoid the children's high traffic area, particularly site 192, which seems to be a pathway for them to the lake. 25 feet to the right of this site there are no rv spots or cabins and community lake access. Unfortunately the children prefer cutting through occupied sites and hanging out in the driveways of the sites. Overall, it's a lovely campground with some minor considerations regarding children's supervision.
