Overall nice park, and seems like a very family friendly atmosphere. My biggest issue is definitely the major hill/dip at the park entrance. My motor home scraped the bottom from the rear overhang upon both entering and exiting the park. The site was nice and we enjoyed the fishing.

I love the pond and the ducks. So relaxing to b around it. It was fantastic that they have the Farmers Market every Saturday when we were there. The meat vendors food is great! B sure to check it out. Very friendly staff. Their store was skimpy. We will be back again.

Nice facility, enjoyed our stay. My only complaint is that the grass needed to be mowed. Not a huge deal but with all the ducks and droppings, the mowing the grass would make it nice and deal with duck droppings.

The power at our site blew the breaker. This is a first when we have been assured 50 amp. Not a good thing to have happen.

Enjoyed our stay at KOA! The staff were super friendly and very helpful. A few suggestions going forward for you guys. I think you should have a section of your park dog free. It’s annoying to have dogs barking around you all day long. It would probably be beneficial to you guys to have a section of cabins available for monthly rental. Most of your cabins were vacant when we were there.

The park is very nice and the people are even better. We had issues leaving due to the ice storm in Austin, and they accommodated us by allowing us to extend our stay 2 additional nights. I would highly recommend this park to anyone going to the Houston area.

We were visiting family in the area. We were not here to go to any venues etc. it served its purpose. Nice facilities. My family use your camp to prepare their coach for travel and recommended.

Huge park nice and clean. Camp K-9 needs work - great size but small and medium dogs could escape under the fence or through the gates. We were across from a bathroom and shower that was closed for "cleaning" our entire stay so that was frustrating. Overall a nice, quiet, and clean park.

Nice park, clean and maintained. This KOA is an older park and could benefit from some refresh and updates. Park has long term and daily camper sections that are separate. Wild life in the area, there are dear along the property line and Muskovee ducks that are residents of the pond area. Many stores and restaurants in the area. Sites are concrete and level. Utilities in good condition.

This KOA grew on us the longer we were here. It’s very quiet and serene. The spaces are far enough away from each other that we didn’t feel were sitting with our neighbors.The ducks were fun although our puppies didn’t think so… Hot tub was out of order and several of washers and dryers were not in service. Very relaxing/clean resort. Stayed in spot 235 waterfront premium patio & very happy with the view & location. Husband could fish in front of our trailer. Lots of wildlife from daylight to sunset was amazing. Walking trail & large dog park. (we didn't use the playground amenities, but hope to use it next time when bringing our granddaughter (4 yrs old). We will be coming back.

Very high priced, store had very few items, clerk was dour, lots of empty sites, yet we were put next to other rigs rather than spacing us out.

Sewer fitting set so deep in concrete that it was impossible to screw on hose fitting - site 54, all others I could see around me were raised. WiFi very limited, and that was mid-January with an empty campground. I can't imagine what it would be like in season.

Staff-kind of friendly. Campsites-nice and roomy. Bath room/shower near us was closed for? The one at the office only had one toilet for the entire campground. Our campsite-major water leak, site was a swamp. Should be a warning about the entrance, caused damage to the rear of our 5th wheel. Maint. guys admitted that others had tore up equipment. 1st spot got unloaded and hooked up. Went inside turned ac on. No ac. everything else worked. checked breakers & fuses. All ok. Tested shore power outlet. Open circuit in L-2. Called office, they sent a tech. He checked outlet and confirmed site had bad breaker. He stated I would have to move because he was not allowed to replace breakers. Be prepared to bottom out goin into/leaving entrance sucks

Lake Conroe KOA was excellent. The staff were especially nice and friendly. The site and park or clean.

Everything was good, had a good site right on the pond, good view. Only drawback was way too many tame Ducks hanging around and pooping everywhere! Poop was all over the shoreline, Poop covered the walking bridge!, Poop on our Picnic Table! Duck Poop everywhere. These ducks are cute but you have got to relocate a few of them. They are not wild ducks so maybe you could rehome them.

We have been using this campground for years and are very pleased with everything. The only thing I can think of that would have improved our stay is an indoor play area for the kids, since some rain came through during our stay.

Stayed in late Dec. Site level with concrete pad. Very quiet at night. Restrooms and showers were spotless. Accommodating staff texted me with late arrival info. Only complaint is that KOA Highway sign had bulbs out; our GPS was programmed for it or we would have missed the turn. Signage was minimal at entrance and lighting was poor after dark. Definitely would stay again.

Stayed at the Lake Conroe KOA for about 5 months in my fifth wheel RV while working in Houston. Great location with plenty of restaurants/shopping just a short walk or drive away. Very spacious sites through the park compared to other KOA's. All sites are paved and mostly level, definitely big rig friendly. Staff was great! Very responsive to inquiries and requests for maintenance (had an electrical pedestal issue early during my stay that was quickly resolved). As the weather started warming up, the maintenance team got busy with lots of little things around the park… repainting site numbers, fixing water leaks, etc… Only downside is that they don't really have a “Store” like other large KOA's. They have a few items but with the large office they have, there could be so much more. I'd definitely stay there again if I was in the area.

I recently stayed at this campground and overall had a pleasant experience. The place is very well-maintained with great amenities, and the sites are spacious and well spread out. The customer service and employees were excellent, providing a welcoming atmosphere. However, the only downfall for us was the presence of unsupervised children. While there are multiple families living there full-time, their children roam freely around the campground. Our lakefront site seemed to be a popular hangout spot for them, leading to some inconvenience as they left their bikes, scooters, and toys near our RV. I even had to politely ask a child to refrain from climbing the ladder on my RV. If you're considering booking a lakefront site, I recommend requesting one on the south side of the park to avoid the children's high traffic area, particularly site 192, which seems to be a pathway for them to the lake. 25 feet to the right of this site there are no rv spots or cabins and community lake access. Unfortunately the children prefer cutting through occupied sites and hanging out in the driveways of the sites. Overall, it's a lovely campground with some minor considerations regarding children's supervision.
