The staff was absolutely incredible. I would suggest planting more trees for the summer was way too hot. The only thing negative was the pool was not claimed the entire time we were there. The day we arrived it was clean by the time we left it was disgusting. You could tell it had not been cleaned or shocked.

The lack of shade is the only reason I am rating the location so low. With the heat, it is just too hard for the a/c to keep up.

Staff is always so friendly..... but the pool needs help. It was like swimming in filth, discolored water. Night and day from the last management. The pool was sparkling clean. On our last day we went for one last dip and t h e pool deck was littered with soda cans and water bottles at 9:30 in the morning not too clean.

Had an issue with 30 amp breaker tripping. Talked to office had a couple guys come look and loaned us a 50 to 30amp pigtail to get us going and had a great stay.

We arrived at our pull thru site and set up our RV in a patch of stickers and weeds! We complained about the condition and were able to move to a back-in site . that looked presentable but was not what we had wanted. we were not offered any compensation for all our troubles of setting up, taking it down and then finding a decent spot and resetting up again It is not by the lake,

Nice & spacious pull thru site. Only drawback is the entrance/exit off of Hwy 105. Steep & we dragged the back bumper of our 33ft Motor Home. Tried leaving at an angle but we still dragged the bumper. We were also towing a Jeep.

KOA was nice & big. However, we were placed in "no man's land" with a lot of vacant sites between us & the office and amenities. Our location in the campground was too distant to make any of the amenities convenient to use. Other than when we checked in, we saw no staff around the area we were camped in.

Peaceful, clean and quiet. The only drawback was 20 amp breakers in a 30 amp plug. It tripped constantly when we tried to run the microwave with air conditioner. Told maintenance, they did not fix it.

The sites are too hard to get in. The curbing was too high for our class c. We had to park on the side of our site and hook up that way. We were in site 102. Will not be back.

Grass was knee high. Had WiFi but couldn’t use for TVs or phones? Gave me a late checkout and then called to check why I wasn’t gone. Explained when I checked in they gave me a late checkout. Then you said well let me check like I would be lying about it. I have stayed there a lot but something was different this time!

The grounds were well kept, and the staff was amazing. The only slight issue was the ladies bathroom. My wife said it was dirty. I would recommend this location for sure.

The park was very clean but to get into the park, the entrance from the highway is very steep and there's a fairly deep ravine and the tow bar drags going in. The sites are very level but again to get on the site there's another ravine. We had a pull thru and all the hook-ups were perfectly placed. It was quiet too. We would go back and knowing what we know now, we'd unhook our toad first.

Bathrooms haven’t been cleaned in weeks per records in bathhouse. Lawns need care as well with shoots over a foot tall. Location ok but it’s a monument to concreteness and our site was disconnected and isolated.

The campground was much below the KOA Holiday standards we have enjoyed in other locations. The activities (crafts, ice cream social) were great surprises for us. Would have enjoyed a pancake breakfast like we have enjoyed in many other locations. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

When having power pole issues when trying to set up, the caring staff member in the office immediately gave us an alternate site number. It was a very hot day and my aging dog needed to get cool. The new site also accommodated my dog's needs and ramp. Thsnks so much.

Everything was great.. the only complaint was the size of the "big rig" spots. These are narrow. We could not use the concrete in front of our stairs and we only had a about 6 inches on the other side. Way too narrow.

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The facilities are very nice and clean. There are a lot of activities for kids. We stayed in long term and had a great experience. Andrea and Laura went above and beyond to make our stay such a great experience. Andy was always cheerful and friendly in the office. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

The park itself was nice and clean. Park office staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Issues were Grass was very high, had to ask for it to be cut (which they did the next day). Dogs off leash. People in cabins were playing loud music, yelling and screaming till 2:30am with no one around to curtail the situation.

We had requested a pull through and ended up on a site that was nice but the tree was on the wrong side and we never got any shade until late in the evening. We should have asked to relocate. Nice pool and nice showers. Short stay so did not have time to check out the rest of the location.

Stayed at the Lake Conroe KOA for about 5 months in my fifth wheel RV while working in Houston. Great location with plenty of restaurants/shopping just a short walk or drive away. Very spacious sites through the park compared to other KOA's. All sites are paved and mostly level, definitely big rig friendly. Staff was great! Very responsive to inquiries and requests for maintenance (had an electrical pedestal issue early during my stay that was quickly resolved). As the weather started warming up, the maintenance team got busy with lots of little things around the park… repainting site numbers, fixing water leaks, etc… Only downside is that they don't really have a “Store” like other large KOA's. They have a few items but with the large office they have, there could be so much more. I'd definitely stay there again if I was in the area.
