we have stayed several times there and this was first time for no trash pick up in fact one site had scattered trash for two days everyone had to walk to a dumpster to dispose of their trash other than that lost service the stay was good

The grounds were well kept, the activities they hold daily were a nice change from most campgrounds. The sites are huge and leveled perfectly. My only complaint would be the amount of ant beds around the sites. We sprayed several before letting our dogs out.

Unleashed dogs everywhere. Permanent trailer trash leaving dogs alone barking all day and night. Trucks honking at 11pm. The campground itself is alright but the campers are utterly disrespectful. Skip this one, thank me later.

Very nice campground. Enjoyed our view of the lake. Super convenient to get in out of the Renaissance Festival. Staff was very pleasant to deal with in the office. We had to cancel our Friday night reservation due to severe weather and were not charged even though we cancelled the day of. Showed up on Saturday morning and enjoyed our stay Saturday night. Will consider staying here again!

Entire campground and sites were clean, well cared for and easily accessible. Amenities were also well taken care of. But the best thing about this KOA is the friendly people working there - everyone is kind, helpful, and fun to visit with. Would not hesitate to stay here again. To the Staff: Very well done, new friends!

Enjoyed our visit and truly appreciated the texts of things going on during our stay. Also liked the weather alerts and instructions on where to go in needed. Thank you for your friendly staff they helped make our stay great.

We stayed two nights and we were given what we felt was the least desirable view location in the park. They must fill the least desirable first as many of the other sites never had occupants. Only stayed here because it was the closest campground to friends we were visiting in the area.We did not use any amenities as we were not at the park except to sleep. Over priced for what we got and used.

Great location, despite the road construction, very clean ,safe place. The people working/running this location are great ! We had electric issues and they were very very, helpful in helping us sort it out. I would recommend this location is staying a few days or just over passing through...

Weather was nice and cool, the campground had lots of Halloween activities, and the accommodation's were great.

Check in was extremely slow, we were staying for 3 nites, and she had to move us , because our spot was double booked. This koa was 90 percent empty. Once at spot, all concrete, level, just the right length for our RV and trailer. We had a shower very close by, and it was clean. Earlier that day received a text message about possible potential strong winds, and it did come thru, nice touch.

The staff was very nice and friendly, however, the campground itself is not well-maintained. The bridge across the pond is so full of duck poop, it it difficult to walk on. There is trash up against the fence (we stayed in 221) under the bushes. The bathroom floor had the same two pieces of candy foil on the floor for five days. There was a rusted metal bed frame also by the bushes.

We had to move locations twice, once due to a incorrect site assignment and another for not being able to plug in a 30 amp angled plug at the power supply. But the staff there were very accommodating and resolved quickly. The grounds were well kept and clean and we enjoyed our stay.

VERY NICE HUGE CAMPGROUND!!! Even permanent sites were very nice!! Great for walking, clean restrooms & laundry room. Big pool. Big dog park could use some TLC plus need water bowl for dogs. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Highly recommend and will love to come back!!

We enjoyed our stay here. It was cool to see all the ducks and families fishing together. Loved the cute "train " cruising through the campground. We visited the Texas Renaissance festival. This campground is very convenient to getting to the festival.

Selected a patio site for the convinces was very disappointed with the dirt and plastic surrounding the patio stone instead of bushes and flowers. The pool and hot tub were both shut down and were when we stayed last winter. No ice available in the store. This could be a nice park again if the above was corrected. Friendly staff

It was nice. But, the shower room area started to flood. And the advertized hot tub was not available. I question the monthly charge rate.

We were only there one night but the sites were very easy to access with lots of room between. Clean kept grounds and had a beautiful view of the lake.

The Stay was great! Only complaint was the landscapers making so much noise in the early morning multiply days in a row. We go on Vacation to get away from the noise and sleep in.

The camping area was nice and quiet. However, the pool wasn’t very clean. The sign stated a deep cleaning is done every Wednesday, but there was a lot of sand and bugs in the water. Our campsite was cleaner ������‍��� Public restrooms were fair in cleanliness. Overall I wouldn’t recommend to stay at this particular KOA.

Stayed at the Lake Conroe KOA for about 5 months in my fifth wheel RV while working in Houston. Great location with plenty of restaurants/shopping just a short walk or drive away. Very spacious sites through the park compared to other KOA's. All sites are paved and mostly level, definitely big rig friendly. Staff was great! Very responsive to inquiries and requests for maintenance (had an electrical pedestal issue early during my stay that was quickly resolved). As the weather started warming up, the maintenance team got busy with lots of little things around the park… repainting site numbers, fixing water leaks, etc… Only downside is that they don't really have a “Store” like other large KOA's. They have a few items but with the large office they have, there could be so much more. I'd definitely stay there again if I was in the area.

I recently stayed at this campground and overall had a pleasant experience. The place is very well-maintained with great amenities, and the sites are spacious and well spread out. The customer service and employees were excellent, providing a welcoming atmosphere. However, the only downfall for us was the presence of unsupervised children. While there are multiple families living there full-time, their children roam freely around the campground. Our lakefront site seemed to be a popular hangout spot for them, leading to some inconvenience as they left their bikes, scooters, and toys near our RV. I even had to politely ask a child to refrain from climbing the ladder on my RV. If you're considering booking a lakefront site, I recommend requesting one on the south side of the park to avoid the children's high traffic area, particularly site 192, which seems to be a pathway for them to the lake. 25 feet to the right of this site there are no rv spots or cabins and community lake access. Unfortunately the children prefer cutting through occupied sites and hanging out in the driveways of the sites. Overall, it's a lovely campground with some minor considerations regarding children's supervision.
