This was my first camping trip with my family. There were several things not working between the arcade, the laundry facility, and the bathrooms were often dirty and left with no toilet paper. We decided to cut our trip short and go to another campground due to the lack of professionalism of the staff and owner at this establishment. We will not be returning to the Bomoseen KOA.

The campground sites were way to close and didnt give good clearance for driving and parking your camper. Roads on the way in & out were very narrow with sharp turns making it difficult. Dump station on a steep uphill grade, Big trees,narrow path to dump station,very difficult to empty sewage. People very friendly and campground would be nicer if not so congested.Not good for large campers!

Kids ran in our campsites throughout the night unsupervised. Gravel was so dirty and campsite was dark and unfriendly. Politics and camping don’t mix. We had a camper with a golf cart waving political flags. Elections are over and this was a terrible way to start the 4th of July celebration. Vermont is beautiful, but campsites was disappointing!

The campground appeared in disrepair with unoccupied run down “seasonal” rigs, green algae/mold on restroom structure, hornets around eaves of building and litter around grounds. The water pressure was not enough to take a shower in my camper and I was told that was normal because they are on a well. Everything was great except the mattresses in cabins are extremely uncomfortable. Even with a 3 inch memory foam on top, the mattress feels like you are sleeping on a bench in the main bedroom and in the bunk beds the mattresses are so thin you feel the plywood underneath. For the cost of the cabin for the week, it is expected that the mattresses would be of better quality.

This campground is fantastic! I absolutely love it here. Staff will do anything for you right down to helping you park your RV. I just love it there! I highly recommend it !

My stay was great and the people working there were very nice and helpful. The pool and cabin was clean and neat. The only problems I had the whole stay was that the beds, felt old as can be and not comfortable and the Wi-fi was not great at all. I do want to stay away from Wi-fi as much as I could, but since our phones did not work there, we needed Wi-fi calling for family to get ahold of us.

Isabelle and her team run a great Campground. From the moment we checked in until the time we left everyone was so friendly(Staff and other campers). The place was spotless. Wifi was good and so was TV reception (not that I needed that). Our spot was clean on arrival, including the fire pit! We would definitely recommend this KOA to anyone, and we will go back!!!

the cabins are nice alternative to camping, although the floors need to be cleaned. the bathrooms were clean everyday. the weekends had things to do for the kids and the pools are currently being upgraded. we have always had an exceptional time at lake Bomoseen campground. The bushes need to be cleaned up at the dock entrance. see you next year!

Way too many cars. 2 per site rule ignored, not enforced. Parked in roads, tight passage. Way too many kids on bicycles dropping them in the road and leaving them. Sites were too cramped. Not a campground for peace and quiet. Dog poop in the grass. Very young children wandering alone. Golf carts circling around needlessly. Nosy. Spying. Unnecessary intrusion. Bathrooms too far away.

Very tight roadways and sites. Pull thru sites do Not have sewer as advertised as full hookups. Not up to standards of other KOA campgrounds that we have stayed at

As an avid camper of lake bomo koa, this year we were charged a boat fee. We have been camping here for the past 18 years for july 4th and in that time the boat docks have deteriorated to the point of being unsafe. Two years ago, I fell off the unsafe docks.I have commented on numerous visits about this unsafe situation. Recent ban on golfcarts seems dim compared to possible drownings.

When I originally reserved the cabin I was under the impression the loft was actually a loft where an adult or even a child were able to stand in. That area was more of a crawl space. Too tight to sleep in. When I called and asked if there was a coffee maker in the cabin and I was told yes, unfortunately there wasn’t one. Lastly, the cleanliness was poor. It wasn’t was we expected.

Staff was awesome, worked to create fun despite the Rain. Only complaint is gameroom ticket casher and many games not working, disappointed our grandson

Compared to the very many KOA campgrounds we've visited, our stay at this particular KOA was quite disappointing. The 2 ladies at the reception were not very friendly or welcoming. Generally, the site was very shabby and run down. Too many "seasoners" in old and shabby RVs or trailers. The lake was full of green pond weed. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this place to our friends.

This campground just had a gross feel to it. The pool was way too small. The people all smoked and drank all day long. The arcade and "mini-golf" and theater were foul smelling and run down. The bathrooms were pretty dingy too. WIFI does not work nor does cell service.

Dump station too far away, no guidance to site as we are accustomed at other KOA,s inconsiderate help. No respect of quiet time. False advertising Pool was very dirty. Drives are not clearly marked as to which direction to go. No cell service. The cabins were not clean as our daughters rented one. No air in cabins. Showers were not clean and septic was overflowing, Do your homework before go

This is the worst campground we have ever stayed at. The staff was rude and uninterested in working. Pool and bathrooms were filthy. No one made sure rules were followed, such as quiet hours and adult supervision at the pool. There was supposed to be more than one pool and there was only one tiny one. The dump station is in a terrible location. There are not enough bathhouses.

The website advertised a bounce house splash pad. We were at the campground for 4 days, neither were setup/working. The weather was nice, and we asked the staff if the bounce house would be setup, staff replied "it was too muddy". The campground advertises free wi-fi, but the connection was so horrible we could not steam music the entire trip. The bandwidth is not strong enough. Very misleading!

The pictures on the website are not updated. They said they had more pools. The splash pad was never on. Which again they said it would be on everyday. They didn’t do any kids activities due to weather. It wasn’t rainy just cloudy. And the WiFi never worked! I will never go back to this campsite or recommend it to anyone.

Had a great time and met some really awesome new friends! Only complaints I have is... THE MUD at the bottom of the hill, a couple times the bathrooms ran out of toilet paper and the community of people on top of the hill parting and fighting. Thank you for a fantastic stay and my kids love all the activities ��

Very family oriented but not big rig friendly. Did not appreciate having to pay a visitors fee for friends who were merely coming to pick us up for dinner. I could understand if they were coming to enjoy the amenities but they were not. There needs to be exceptions. The dumpster was very inconveniently located and overflowing most of our six night stay.

Facilities were dirty. Advertised prices for laundry were incorrect and the laundry room was filthy. I told the front desk about it and their response was that it was not operated by them. Regardless it's part of their facility and should be clean and correctly labeled. Additionally, the people at the front desk were not very friendly. Very unlike the KOAs we've stayed at across the country.

Our camping cabin hadn't been cleaned in some time. I carried a bottle of spray cleaner because of Covid, but my cleaning produced enough dust/dirt to show that someone had not been working in there for some time. When I approached the office/check-in area to explain the problem, they were sympathetic and thanked me for bringing this to their attention. It was our only problem there.

The park was great. Bath house had very little water pressure and we had no wifi or internet. That being said everything was wonderful, grounds looked great and the people we dealt with were terrific, very helpful. Great location close to what we wanted to do. Would stay again.

We stayed on the site the patio site for three days we had a good time the staff is very pleasant the owner is very nice person but the people run rampant with the golf carts there so be on the lookout

1. The campground is very tired and needs TLC. 2. The pictures on your website do not reflect your current campground. 3. We had more positive interaction with seasonal campers than KOA staff…rarely saw KOA staff even in the park and they weren’t overly friendly. 4. The plus about this establishment is that it’s close to home!

We really enjoy this campground. the only thing we think could make it better would be a set of bathrooms closer to the tent sites.

This is a wonderful campground. The staff was extremely friendly in checking us in. We stayed here years ago before they were a KOA Campground. Well groomed campsites, and even while we were here and it was fall they were still blowing leaves to keep the sites clean as well as every fireplace cleaned out. Where big believers in carry in carry out and we couldn't find one drop of garbage scattered anywhere. We had a family emergency and had to leave a day earlier and the owners were kind to us and did the right thing. We will definitely be back there for the summer 2024 season, and would highly recommend you give them a try. You'll be happily surprised.
