Excellent campground right on the lake. Canoe, kayak, and row boat rentals. Be sure to eat at the Lake House Restaurant just down the road from the KOA.

Love the people, the woods, the activities but man, start putting money into your electric issues, no working dryers and what is up with the rinky dinky pool. You cant put more than 10 people in the pool. As adults with kids there was only one time in our several day stay that they got to go swimming. This alone has dropped this koa at the bottom of our list to stay at. It was always at the top.

Very crowded with sites very small. Trash was overflowing from the dumpster and just kept piling up and over the fence. Lake is weedy and not easy to fish. Not one of our best campgrounds.

The staff was really helpful and friendly . The campground was clean. The mining for jewels was a big hit with our 3 year old .the pool was super small and wish the dump station was in a better location . Overall it was a nice stay but not a lot to do in the area

Need to remove tree trunks at entry and exit, extremely tight for large RVs and evidence of contact with other RV top sides. Our site was great, well maintained beautiful grounds & great staff.

Had trouble getting in our site, office staff gave us another but failed to mention no sewer hook up which we required. Horace (great guy) helped us get in original site, so appreciated! Loved lake access, but only 2 bathhouses for all those sites not really adequate and once weekly garbage pickup not adequate, garbage piled up all around dumpster. Loved dog park. Pickleball court would be nice!

When we were there our site and those close by were flooded, very disappointing. Maybe drainage could be improved. A couple of other disappointing points . . a long walk to the garbage dumpster, maybe a smaller one could be added in another area. Dog park was very small and only one "dog bag station" in the entire campground, maybe a 2nd park could be added next to the fence near site # 112

I really like this KOA. This was the first time we stayed in a deluxe cabin. The cabin we stayed in could really use a new mattress. I was also disappointed that the splash pad was not running during all the pool hours. Overall, it was a great stay as usual.

Nice people but below KOA standards. They sold us a deluxe site, but it would have better to be on the other side of the property. We couldn’t use the ‘deck/ patio’ and we were next to the dump station.

The amenities weren’t as expected. Pretty worn down, and kids were very loud late one night with no expectation for them to quiet down a bit. So loud we could barely hear each other talking at our own site.

The bathhouses desperately need to be updated. There are only 20 w/e/s sites. There should be more. The trash was constantly overflowing and disgusting. It needs to be emptied at least a few times per week or more when the campground is booked up. The wifi is a joke. Today the wifi NEEDS to be BETTER! Cell service terrible. Sites were decent sized. I think this KOA needs updating to make it better

We stayed in a back in full hook up site. The site was not to bad a slight downhill but with a 38ft 5th wheel it was little tight. the men's bathroom was clean but the women's was dirty at times and their was a boat ramp to get onto the lake but no beach area. Pool was new. Numerous branches and trees needed to be trimmed. Not much to do locally.

Friendly staff. Clean. Nice amenities. The Lake and surrounding area are gorgeous. Two good restaurants with lake views nearby. The lots are very close together. Some had standing water due to rain. Some lots are near a loud highway. Spotty wifi service.

Muddy!! Needs at least some gravel spread on site. Seasonal people beside us let dogs bark continuously and he smoked none stop.

Staff was great and nice, but they do not enforce quiet time so at 2am to 6am you have people blasting music and no one can do anything about it.

Pretty campground and our site was nice and shaded. Loved the camp store, ice cream, and docks. Really wish there was a no smoking policy, or smoking and non smoking sites. We do not smoke, but had smokers on either side of us and had to breathe in their second hand smoke. Also, the free wifi is terrible.

The WiFi was very unreliable and slow. They need to boost their WiFi signal to cover the entire tents sites.

Other than the constant rain we really enjoyed our stay. We had the deluxe tent site which was perfect. I would stay here again.

“Full hook-ups” does’t always incl sewer. We were 2 rv’s side by side, 110 & 111, flooding while there. When inquiring about moving to other sites, I was told no sewer @ “upgraged” sites, but paved & 1w/ patio, w/ poss extra $$, all to leave water (pics & video). Add fee was waived after 2nd visit to office. PS, when disconnecting sewer, their line was full to top & coming out connect

Location is beautiful and campsite is well maintained. The majority of full hook up sites were occupied by seasonal customers, giving the it more of a “trailer park” feel. The campground store is great with a large selection of items. Soft serve ice cream is a “must have” when you visit. Pool is small and easily monopolized with customers and splashing children. Good Wifi service

I hate leaving 2 star but campsite 108 smelled, it could have been the rain but the sewer hose was 2 feet from the picnic table. The only saving grace was the rain keep us inside. The trees were to low for my awning and was very small. The grounds seemed nice and the staff was friendly, but very small site low tree branches smelly sewer right out the door. Not something I would rate very high.

It was a decent campground. The golf carts everywhere was a bit annoying. But other than that it was good.

We stayed in Cabin 71 the bed was awful . It felt like sleeping in a cot . The fans had 2 inches of dirt. The floors were disgusting , our feet were black . The AC was filled with dust my children needed allergy meds . The cabin was located at the front of the campground so when you sit by the fire you have headlights of cars glaring. The amenities were old and disgusting . The arcade smelled .

There is usable beach/lake space unless you are using a boat. The pool is very nice but it is small. Also, the futon mattress in the cabin was very old and really unsleepable for an adult person.

Enjoyed our stay very much. We had no problems with anything. Clean restrooms. Great general store. Fun things for kids to do. Bad cell service even with Verizon. I would definitely return. Never got to go out on the lake so I don't know about it.

The tent site we were staying at was very small. Barely able to fit our tent and car in the lot. The fire pit had to be by the road. The pool was good and the ice cream was great.

The staff at the KOA were extremely nice and accommodating. The sites are not best suited for larger rigs, trees need to be trimmed and some need to be removed. I experienced people having a hard time getting into and out of there site. Not a lot to do there, no place to ride bicycles, no hiking trails and very limited restaurants.

Our stay was great the kids had a lot of fun swimming and playing at the arcade and fishing the store had everything we needed. We hope we can go back in August the cabin was very nice.

Very nice amenities except wi fi. Capacity and speed was very slow, If you're going to say u have it, it needs to be reliable.

Internet does not work, even if you pay extra for it! Premium sites do not have sewer hook ups. Most structures are run down and/or rotting. Staff is rude and unwilling to accommodate (no “honey wagon” service, no firewood or ice delivery). Arcade is run down and most games do not work. Pool and showers are dirty.— below KOA standards that we have experienced across the country.

The weather didn’t cooperate much but it was still a nice week of camping. I didn’t like that the campground store closed at 6:00 PM daily. Kind of pointless to even open if it’s not staying open until 8:00 PM. The WiFi is still not good there, but it wasn’t better this time than it was in 2019.

Campground was just ok, needs updating on many of it's features. Lake was not swimmable at the camp, had to drive down the road to a public use beach. While the bathrooms were cleaned once a day. My wife said both the ladies washrooms were very dirty and often out of tp. I was surprised to tell her the Men's were in better shape.

We really enjoy this campground. the only thing we think could make it better would be a set of bathrooms closer to the tent sites.

This is a wonderful campground. The staff was extremely friendly in checking us in. We stayed here years ago before they were a KOA Campground. Well groomed campsites, and even while we were here and it was fall they were still blowing leaves to keep the sites clean as well as every fireplace cleaned out. Where big believers in carry in carry out and we couldn't find one drop of garbage scattered anywhere. We had a family emergency and had to leave a day earlier and the owners were kind to us and did the right thing. We will definitely be back there for the summer 2024 season, and would highly recommend you give them a try. You'll be happily surprised.
