The grounds were unkept, grass not cut, weeds overtaking all of the landscaping, misc trash & small pieces of plastic and debris all around the site. Paying a premium price for a site in a KOA, park, one expects high quality sites and surroundings. This park does not deliver and we will not be staying again at this park.

Great experience, however disappointed that the pool was booked for a private party from 6pm-8pm. We arrived just prior to 6pm with the plan of swimming. Would have been nice to have know prior to booking. We went after the party was over and the pool was closed shortly after our arrival. Just disappointing.

Very friendly staff when registering with plenty of information about the park. When setting up we found that the ground was soft what started as needing an quickly became three inches and our plastic blocks were buried. We were awaken by birds announcing the start of another wonderful day.

What a nice campground! My tent site was very nice and shady and clean. A short walk to the restrooms and shower house. A very good experience.

It is very clean and the staff are so friendly! We have stayed here before and came back this year to spend a couple days. Kids loved the pool and mini golf. Even though it’s not a “destination” place per se, it’s a great place to get off the beaten path, relax, and enjoy!

The campground itself was very nice. However, it was so close to I80 that we heard interstate traffic all night. If you're a heavy sleeper, then we give it a 5 star.

2-room rustic cabin was just what I needed at the end of a long driving day. Owner was very nice and made sure I had everything I needed.

We had a fabulous time, the pool was great. The cabin was nice with enough room for 5. The owner was really nice. Our stay was great!

Quick overnight stop but the amenities were nice. The only reason I did not rate this park a 5 is that my pull through site faced a brush pile and there was a car full of what appeared to be trash bags.

one night stay while travelling. nice campground with lots of amenities that we didnt use so cant comment. check in gal was very helpful and gave me suggestions of produce stands to check out, etc. utility hookups were good. wifi was strong (how refreshing was that!!!!!) sites were clean. looked like more than a few long termers? restrooms were dated but clean. hot water and good water pressure.

It was a quick stop off for us. The staff was very nice but we did not like how tiny and cramped the site was.

Our truck and camper (30’ camper and full size 350 truck) barely fit in the space. Site next to us was overfilled with large motor home and suburban. Had they not left before us, it would have been difficult to pull thru to leave. We had extra sewer line, or would not have been able to hook up sewer. One night stay charge totaled $65 which we felt was excessive.

Campsites close together, signage was poor and we missed it the first time around, staff was friendly, shower house was close and clean, stay was made better by Grampy's campstove mac and cheese.

If not for the snide greeting from a gen y (probably a relative of the owner) and snarky comments about being a few minutes early to check in it was a good two night experience. I am not a fan of the quick check in process. A helpful young man guided us to our site. The facilities are well kept and closely resemble the other KOAs that we stayed in during our two week camping trip.

Convenient for my plans. Easy online reservations. That being said, the email confirmation showed a total price of $141.56. After checking in and getting set up at our site I was reviewing my receipt and saw I was charged $153.71 for no apparent reason. I went to the office twice for an explanation no one had a good answer. Both said I got my KOA discount but that was on my reservation also,

Cramped, to short and narrow of spaces for the new rigs . No assistance for parking or leaving. Got their money and didn’t care after that, Pool was filthy. Garbage containers we’re always overflowing.

It was a good overnight stay. The only thing that is needed is grass in the dog park.

We had a great time here! Our site had a large shade tree that covered us most of the day. There is lots to do right in the campground and we tried the swimming pool, rec center, and mini golf. This best part was a 1-minute walk to the best barbeque restaurant in La Junta right next door! About 15 minutes from Historic Bent's Old Fort, a must-see!

The entrance to the campground is very tight. There is no place to park your rig to sign in without blocking the way for other rigs. Was also disappointed that the pool was closed for a private party over the weekend.

We stayed one night at the KOA and rented the caboose for the night. It was a really fun experience. They have done a great job decorating the caboose. The bed was comfortable and the space worked out great for the 4 of us. We checked in right after they closed for the evening and it was so easy. We picked up our check in packet and got right into the caboose with no issues. The staff was friendly and they have a small store with a few essentials in case you need to purchase anything. There's a nice playground for the kids. We would definitely stay here again and recommend our friends to check it out.
