Cell service is very patchy, making GPS sketchy. No dog park. Bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke even when we were the only campers visible.

During check in when the host applied my points instead of a credit it resulted in a additional $10.00 charge on my account. When i called seeking a explanation all I got was a voice mail machine. I left my number and issue, and no one has bothered to return my call.

We had a nice stay. Owners are very nice. Very helpful if you need anything. If you like to walk trails, bike, enjoy nature, there are numerous trails within a short distance. Very good location to numerous attractions. We look forward to returning next season.

Restroom was only one shower stall/toilet per sex. No WIFI as well as no cell reception made our stay difficult as we were new to the area and wanted to research places of interest. The neighbors were loud, as well. I was expecting a certain level of service since it was a KOA, but I was disappointed. Further, it was the most expensive place we camped at in 3 weeks on the road in the NE.

Very friendly staff. Small quiet campground just perfect for a quick getaway. Bathrooms were very clean but could use a few updates for some.

Wonderful stay for a weekend. VERY pleasant hosts, could not have been kinder or more accommodating. Very clean restrooms, tidy grounds and very peaceful. Many cottages and cabins to rent. Nice swimming pool. Central to several attractions. We felt like friends to the owners very quickly. Variety of sites for sun or shade. Will be staying there again for sure.

The KOA is just as we remembered last time we were here. We looked forward to staying here this year as well because it is a quiet campground. We will probably return again in the future.

I am sorry to say that I would Not recommend this place. The office / store is little to be desired. As you walk in the smell of mustiness / smoke hits you. To my opinion this is one of the worst KOA we have stayed. The pool is about the only thing going for it. Sign in store Look but don’t touch. Peeling toilet seat, dirty shower. People have to make a living but Please care about the KOA nam

If you are looking for somewhere to stay away from technology, then this is the place for you. When we booked we expected wifi available. But when my kids ask the office for it, they said there isn’t any. And start mumbling about why you need internet when you go camping and gave my daughter the glare….The facility is a bit outdated, but I was not bothered by it.

The people who run the campgrounds are the best. Bob helped me out with a plumbing problem that could have been a show stopper for us. I would give Kinzua East top ratings if the Wifi worked. The attractions in the area were great. Thank you.

Beautiful settings. Love the owners. Very sincere and friendly. We wish you well in your future. Made a lot of new friends. All friendly and considerate. Even met a couple, originally from Taiwan. We be keeping in touch.

Let’s just say I hate to give bad reviews. But very little in the store, the bathroom thought they were clean. The showers were awful. Shower head way up high just shot straight down.

Kinzua East was a great place to stay! The campground was peaceful, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the camp store had a variety of essential supplies and interesting items.

Very friendly staff and lovely quiet, level campsite. Enjoyed proximity to hiking trails and to Warren for family visiting. Grounds need some upkeep (lots of mud during our rainy days). Additional gravel on roads and sites would help. Bathrooms were fairly clean and need some updating. Abundant trees provided much appreciated shade (during the sunny days). Laundry had one working washer (out of 3)

Directional signs within campground would be very beneficial.....that would direct customers to their campsites and also to exit. it was more rugged than most other KOAs we have stayed at, but we enjoyed our stay.

It was a great place and off the beaten path. It was close to things to see and trails to hike. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We definitely would come back if we were in the area.

We have been going there for quite a few years, and have always looked forward to returning. This time was totally different. The new owners were not very cordial and the campground is getting worn down. We tried to use the laundry 45 minutes before closing time, but they shut down early and refused to open. This wouldn't have happened with the old owners. We will not be returning �

People were very friendly. Facilities were nice. The main problem was the low voltage coming from the electrical connection. It was below 105 volts at times causing the loss of power.

not KOA standards. Pool was filthy and freezing. Bathhouse not cleaned for ages. Moldy. deserted sites through the grounds, random rotting tables and cabins buried in overgrowth.

Some things need updated or fixed. One toilet was cracked in various places, and it rocked and felt like it could tip over. Not as clean as other KOAs. Staff (Bob) was excellent and went above and beyond!

This will be my second year fall camping at this KOA. Great place to get away for a weekend especially when I leaves are changing! Staff was extremely friendly and very pleasant this year and last (I only stayed one weekend and it felt like they knew me this year). Some of the sites can be challenging to a new driver, but staff is always more than happy to help get you setup. I would highly recommend as it's family friendly and all around a good time.

Update: I originally gave this place a 4 out 5 4 years ago because of it not being updated... this was the beginning of our travel trailer experiences. After visiting over 20 campgrounds since my original review I am upgrading it 5 stars. The people that own this place are an example of the original campground experience. Quiet. Wooded. Peaceful. Hard working. The real "salt of the earth" people. These place is a piece of heaven. Do not give notice to the bad reviews. Those reviews are from people looking for the galmping experience. This is not that. This is camping. Go enjoy it. Thank you for having us. We will return. God bless. Original review: The only reason I'm giving it 4 and not 5 is because it has not been updated in a long time. Other than that, everything is in good order. Clean campground. Exactly what a camping trip should feel like. Middle of the woods. Gorgeous. So isolated that you feel a little nervous in the pitch dark woods. Great experience
