Nice and quiet, loved the pool. Our Kamp cabin was extremely musty smelling. It needs either AC, or a good dehumidifier, as the fans don't cut it.

Loved being in “forest” setting. Just wish the site had some grass or gravel as it was kind of muddy. Otherwise very nice

For a KOA Journey this is a nice place to relax. The wooded lots are quite peaceful. The staff was very helpful.

This is the 8th time we have brought friends and family here. Started a long time ago with Gary and Mary who sadly have left us. Now we have Bob and Ann and Gary to take care of us. A great spot up in the Allegheny Forest with great hiking and nice golf course close by. We will be back. Dean

Cons: I have found much more friendly hosts in other KOAs. Our cabin smell musty when we arrived. One of the two bathrooms was very dirty. The pool wasn't Olympic size as written in the map, store didn't have much choise Pros: Beautiful sites, next to Kinzua beach.

We loved the large 30 Amp full hookup campsite with a huge stone firepit. There was lots of room for our travel trailer, screened room, bikes, vehicles, and even a hammock! We found the campground to be quiet and peaceful. The bathroom near our site was outdated but clean. The sites and the road could use more gravel; rain could make it messy. We'd definitely stay again!

Very outdated, no dog park, not a lot of full hook up sites, no WiFi, pool cover not used so pool was freezing. Would go back if it was up dated.

The stay was okay but the site wasn't well marked and the sewer dump did not have a water hose to rinse out my sewer hose.

My husband and I stayed in a basic cabin and it was exactly what we needed! we slept like a rock! The bathrooms and camp grounds were very clean!

PROS: We enjoyed our stay at the Deluxe Cabin (with Kitchen and Full Bath) for 2 nights. We loved the small patio and enjoyed the nature sitting here. The double bed and the bunk beds are comfortable. The kitchen had suffeciant plates, spoon, cups, pots and pans. The cabin is spacious. CONS: 1. Can open only one window which has net for ventilation purpose. 2. No Smoke or CO detectors inside.

When we booked, we saw on the website that there were only a few spots left so we assumed the park was going to be jam packed. The front loop was completely empty. We asked to camp next to friends and when booked, they had to move around so we were next to each other. KOA is very outdated, but operators were very friendly. Nice pool, close to hiking trails and Kinzua Dam.

Numerous issues: 1) The restrooms were not cleaned or resupplied during our entire stay. 2) The heat did not work in my cabin. 3) The owners were in a dry vehicle during a downpour while I was walking down the narrow road, yet they thought it was a good idea to pull up next to me and stop, causing me to have to walk through the thick brush along the road.

We were unable to stay due to the condition of the bathrooms. The sewer gas smell made me throw up. My husband called the office and were told that there was nothing wrong with the bathrooms. We would appreciate a full refund.

Our tent site was good and we kept dry throughout hours our downpours. Facilities were adequate and clean but not modern. There was water and electricity on our tent site. It was a quiet comfortable stay.

We had a very enjoyable stay. Loved thst we had large real fire pits vs. the round metal one you find at most places. Our site had plenty of shade and that was appreciated.

Camping in the woods & not packed together in a field was wonderful. Plenty of room! Wish there would have been WiFi & we had no cell reception. Occasionally had issues with the electrical power shutting off. But, again, was a peaceful time camping with lots of solitude! We'd definitively come again!

The KOA website states that all koa deluxe cabins have air conditioning. I emailed the Kinzua koa twice prior to arrival asking about a/c and received no response. Upon arrival we found there is no a/c. This is very frustrating when the website says there will be and it's 90+ degrees out. Charcoal grills at each site were alo advertised but none were present so we had to purchase a grill.

I had a nice level pull-through site. The bathroom was very clean. There weren't many other Campers during my stay, but the ones I met were very friendly. The owners were very friendly. They pointed out the points of interest in the area and how to get to them. If I camp in the Bedford, PA again in the future, l will camp here.

I think they could do more with cleaning the bathrooms (showers). But we enjoyed a quite stay! Also it was nice to know our things sitting out were safe.

Mice in cabin, filthy dirty, bugs of all kinds, bird's nest on porch light which means poop, filthy dirty KOA with horrific drunk owners. Worst campground in 50 years of camping.

This will be my second year fall camping at this KOA. Great place to get away for a weekend especially when I leaves are changing! Staff was extremely friendly and very pleasant this year and last (I only stayed one weekend and it felt like they knew me this year). Some of the sites can be challenging to a new driver, but staff is always more than happy to help get you setup. I would highly recommend as it's family friendly and all around a good time.

Update: I originally gave this place a 4 out 5 4 years ago because of it not being updated... this was the beginning of our travel trailer experiences. After visiting over 20 campgrounds since my original review I am upgrading it 5 stars. The people that own this place are an example of the original campground experience. Quiet. Wooded. Peaceful. Hard working. The real "salt of the earth" people. These place is a piece of heaven. Do not give notice to the bad reviews. Those reviews are from people looking for the galmping experience. This is not that. This is camping. Go enjoy it. Thank you for having us. We will return. God bless. Original review: The only reason I'm giving it 4 and not 5 is because it has not been updated in a long time. Other than that, everything is in good order. Clean campground. Exactly what a camping trip should feel like. Middle of the woods. Gorgeous. So isolated that you feel a little nervous in the pitch dark woods. Great experience
