The Kankakee South KOA offers a quiet get-away-from-it-all retreat that's just an hour south of Chicago.
The Kankakee South KOA offers a quiet get-away-from-it-all retreat that's just an hour south of Chicago. Good restaurants, golf courses, canoe trips and Friday night stock car races are nearby. You're just 10 minutes from the Chicago Bears' training camp. At nearby Kankakee River State Park, saddle up at the stables, then take to the scenic wilderness paths. Hiking, biking, canoeing, fishing and picnicking are other favorite park pastimes. At the campground, amenities include the pool, playground, basketball and volleyball courts and a game room-or relax under one of the big, shady oaks. There's a pavilion for your reunion or party needs.

Halloween Weekend's 2012
This year we will have our annual Halloween Weekends on October 12th-13th ,19th – 20th and 26th -27th. During the weekends we will have a site decorating contest, kids crafts and yes we will have trick or treating for the kids young and old.
