Exploration Station ...a children's museum is a hands-on exploration and discovery museum for children and their families, teachers and care givers. At Exploration Station, children can climb inside the tower of a castle, fly a jet plane, change the tire on a car, become a soda shop clerk, dig for dinosaur bones and much more.

Perry Farm Park offers beautiful nature trails that are smoothly paved and are surrounded by some of Illinois most beautiful landscape. On the trails you can also spot the Indian Caves, a staple to the Kankakee River. Bring the kids to the new inclusive Barnyard Playground, or the Exploration Station...a Children's Museum. Perry Farm is a historic farmstead which includes: farmhouse, barns, farm buildings, animal pens, gardens, Centennial Orchard, Durham Memorial, and Millennium Garden all courtesy of the Bourbonnais Township Park District.
