Very nice sites. The grounds were very well maintained, bathrooms modern and spotless!! Loved the ponds, dog walk ect. Very pleased with our stay at this campground!

We've been camping at this campground for many years, although only once since it became a KOA. We miss the old owners & their way of doing things, but this new KOA is quite nice. They have kept the quiet, family vibe that has always been in the past. The NEW bathhouse is phenomenal! I have never been excited to use a bathhouse -BUT- WOW! New in-ground pool too! Many changes, all for the good!

The hosts were VERY friendly and accommodating. The brand new bathrooms were fabulous!!! The sites were well maintained and cabins looked very nice. However, some of the sites, especially in the "L" section had a significant drop from front to back, and were more mounded than flat. This would make leveling a camper a hit more of a challenge. The grounds and trails could be better maintained.

Thank you for the very nice review. We recently leveled all the sites and added gravel. On some sites we built up the back due to the terrain, however we built them for smaller campers, so leveling would not be a problem. We opened a few weeks ago and we are still working on getting the campground in shape.

camping area is too tight and crowded. RVs and Campers are on top of each other. That might be good for some families with kids who want to interact with other families, but not everyone likes that. I wanted to relax, have peace and quiet, but had to leave the cabin during the day or stay insidejust so I would not hear the dozens of kids in the playground right outside my cabin door.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. Holiday weekends are very crowded at our campground. We had many family groups in the other cabins and RV sites. Hopefully you will find another weekend or weekday to stay with us again.

Very nice clean bathrooms!! My only complaint is how close together the sites are.

Thank you for your review. Our sites are very long and you have ample room in the back of your camper. Your site was a W&E site and since it does not have a sewer it may have seemed smaller.

The park was very quiet. The bathrooms were new and very clean. The grass needed to be mowed.

This was a great week! Everything was clean and the shower house was kept spotless. We especially enjoyed the site #L10. It was nicely shaded and private. The Wifi signal was good at the pavilion across the way and TV reception was good, also. We would stay here again if in the area!

Had a great stay! RV site very comfortable with a patio and nice fire pit. The owners couldn't have been nicer! Highly recommend to stay! Hope to be back again soon.

The spot could have been more level and maintained. It should have been mowed before our arrival. Otherwise it was peaceful and the restrooms were great! The staff was the nicest we have ever come across. Thank you.

Karen and her staff were absolutely amazing they definitely worked very hard to keep the camp clean the new bathhouse was amazing when Karen heard it was particularly hot in the cabin we were in she got an air conditioner to us right away. the negatives were the size of the camp was a lot smaller than I anticipated and the layout of the cabin with the spiral staircase was negative

Been to a lot of KOA’s and non KOA’s over the years and this is by far one of the best. Family run, clean, and peaceful. The hosts are very attentive to your needs and strive to make your stay enjoyable. So if you’re looking for a place to relax, do some grilling and visit nearby Letchworth State park look no further. Already looking forward to returning next year!

We had a wonderful time! Everything was clean and neat, the cabin had a space heater (which was a Godsend since it was snowing the day we arrived!!), the staff was helpful and accommodating. Can't wait to come back!!

Can’t control the weather. The site was nothing but mud and the campground should have put hay down, or moved us to another open site. Bedsides the mud pit the overall experience was a pleasant stay

Very happy that you had a nice stay. If asked, we would have gladly moved you. You requested that particular site. Unfortunately, early spring in WNY is usually wet. The hay you saw is covering for grass seed, not mud. Parking a truck on the grass not on the gravel pad always makes ruts in wet weather.

The owners are very accommodating and always respond to any needs that we may have. The campground is impeccable - bathrooms clean, grass cut, sites maintained and a peaceful/friendly atmosphere that is so relaxing! Plenty of activities for the kids/adults if you want to join in on the fun.

We booked a stay at this KOA but took the wrong poles for our tent which was a disaster for us.Tom went out of his way to try to find us poles that would accommodate our tent. Unfortunately, that did not work out and we had to return home (4 hours away) but I would definitely recommend this KOA, the facilities were spotless, the location was perfect for visiting Letchworth, owners are awesome!!!!

We stayed two nights and loved this KOA! Our favorite features were the well maintained wooded areas for the kids to safely explore and the dog park for our four legged family member. We were there the last weekend of the season, so we were not able to experience the pool, but the kids enjoyed the game room and camp store. We will definitely return!

Absolutely love Houghton Letchworth koa. Best campground in WNY. We make a point to go a couple times a year.

This is our 2nd stay at Houghton/Letchworth KOA. Clean well kept, nice park and helpful staff. I rated 4 out of 5 because we stayed in spot C3 on the “main drag” and we noticed that vehicles driving past our coach regularly drove way too fast. This includes the park staff in their speedy little golf carts. Care needs to be given toward slowing people down.

The family who runs this place is wonderful! They are so accommodating. The activities were fun as well. Everything was clean and well maintained. The campground was relatively quiet. We love it here!
