Sites are very close together and not as they appear in pictures on website. Back end sites are not level, difficult to set up a comfortable outdoor living space. Very nice dog park which was a huge plus for us. Entry point of park is short in length. Had to wait to re enter the park as 4 other campers were checking in. Entry should be redesigned to avoid sitting in the road waiting to get in

Thank you for your review. The pictures on the website are actual pictures of the sites in the campground. The pull-thru you had was recently leveled with new stone. We widened the driveway this year, but unfortunately some RVs do not pull to the right and block the entrance. We apologize for this.

cabin was very nice but pricey. Couldn't get wifi.

Thank you very much for your review. The price of the cabin includes all of the amenities within the campground and is in line with other campgrounds, such as the state park. The WIFI was working fine and the person next to you was able to get online. We apologize that you weren't able to connect.

They were very accommodating. Our camper was too big for the original site, so they moved us to a bigger site. It was very spacious, and scenic. Nice, quiet campground. I wish the weather would have cooperated, so we could have enjoyed it more.

We were slighly worried when we read there was no bathrooms in the cabin, but they were right next door and very clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. Amazing stay.

Owner is super nice and thoughtful about his campers. Close proximity to state park and trails. A very nice place to visit.

The staff and owners are extremely friendly. It was a wonderful place to take my family. So many things to keep two children occupied. We loved pirates weekend. The grounds are beautifully maintained. One of the best bath houses that we have used. We will definitely be back.

Overall great place. The only negative is the one old bathouse was moldy and needs repairs

Thank you for your comments. We appreciate you staying with us. It is in our plans to remodel the small bathhouse. Each year we improve a portion of the campground. The big bathhouse is brand new and was easily accessible. Thank you again!

Great place, not too crowded like some KOAs. The bathroom/ shower combos were clean and FREE! I would go back.

Very nice owners. Everyone that works there are always nice and will try to do everything than can do to make your stay enjoyable. Been there twice and plan on going back. One nice thing is its very peaceful there. Nights are quiet. You can enjoy your camp fire.

This was our second time staying at Houghton KOA. Same great experience as the first time. Facilities were clean. They even come around daily to pick up your garbage bag. Used the pool a couple times as it was hot/muggy weather. Very family friendly campground. Thanks !

This property in immaculate! Beautiful. Bathrooms and showers are best I’ve seen anywhere and I’ve camped across America!! Great place for kids. Sooo much to do and the staff was amazing !! Definitely returning to this Koa. Thank you

It was awesome! I really enjoyed the campground. The only thing that needs improvement is the strong odor from the bathrooms. The septic was very smelly.

Thank you for your review. We have never had any complaints about a smell from the bathrooms. If so, we would have addressed it immediately. Our work campers live across from the bathhouse and clean it every day. We would have to say the smell was not coming from the bathhouse.

This is a nice, quiet campground. Our site was spacious and we really enjoyed our stay. Wife used the laundry and was happy with it. Pool area is pristine and we really enjoyed it

This was the best KOA my mom and I have ever stayed at, and we have stayed at a lot! The bathrooms were amazing and so clean! It was so dog friendly with the kamp k9 and our site was so beautiful and clean and secluded! We loved every minute we were there! We recommended it to all our friends and will be coming back again and again!

Kind of a "meh" experience - we had an uneven site without a picnic table or firepit. Were unable to park level and still be within reach of the hookups. Other sites appear to be better suited, we may have just received one of the only available ones. The trails are really overgrown 4x4 tracks in the woods, and the fishing pond is covered in a layer of slime.

TY for the review. Your site was recently leveled and had new gravel added to it. Others have been happy with the site. You did have a picnic table and fire ring. The trails have wheel tracks from the Amish carrying out trees. The slime as you call it, is vegetation that keeps control of the algae.

Campsites too close, no privacy. I could hear the people's conversation next to me and they were talking normally

Thank you for your review. Since you were in a tent, you will tend to hear voices more loudly. The site next to you was empty, so unsure why you had limited privacy. Appreciate your feedback.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this campground! Tom, Karin and their daughters are the most wonderful hosts. They were so kind to all of us. My dad enjoyed talking with Tom so much. Their campground is beautiful and extremely well kept. We enjoyed every minute of our stay! Thank you to the Stroh Family for a wonderful week!

The park was clean and relatively quiet. Indoor pool was poorly maintained outdoor pool in a very odd location. While convenient to Letchworth SP, restaurants and shopping were not convenient. I wouldn’t stay any longer than to see the State Park.

Thank you for your review. Both pools are maintained every day. In fact we, just put a brand new heater in the indoor pool. Restaurants and shopping are three miles away, with several fine-dining restaurants not very far. If asked we could have guided you to many attractions.

The place is really well taken care of. Love the new restroom shower combo. I do however miss the butterflies on the old ones. Upgrade to wi-fi in the Labrador loop, works great. Very clean would go back.
