Check in was fast and easy, very friendly staff with owners available and very visible! Great directions to site and given a camp map with the weekend activities included. Both bands were interactive and great to listen to. Kids activities were second to none, they had a fantastic time. All restrooms and showers "A" condition. Saltwater pools were clean and refreshing . Dog park added bonus!

I came to the Houghton KOA to visit my sister and her kids who spend the entire summer there in their camper. They LOVE it there and I finally got to see why! I came with my mother and my other sister as well and we had an amazing time together. The place is beautiful, the staff is kind and the cabin we stayed in was cozy and adorable! I loved my time here and so did the rest of my family! Thanks!

We had an excellent stay over the long 4th of July weekend. The owners take a lot of pride in the upkeep of the campground and it shows. They were very accommodating and were able to get us in right before the holiday. The sites are well laid out and not right on top of each other which is a plus. Thanks again Tom and Karin for helping to make our stay a memorable one. We will be back for sure

The campground has shown many improvements since my stay 5 years ago. The only reservation is I did not appreciate being interrogated by the owner about someone who was apparently pounding on the bathroom doors and jiggling the handles. It would have been fine if he asked only once, but he pressed 5x in a threatening way. They just need to put occupied/not-occupied mechanisms on the doors.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Appreciate your comments, however we had a serious complaint about an adult who was under the influence banging on the bathhroom doors. We have a video and an eyewitness that someone from your party was the one doing it. Occupied/non-occupied mechanisms isn't a solution, since this was game to him.

We had an enjoyable, relaxing 4th of July weekend stay. There were plenty of activities for both young and old to partake in each day. The evening live bands that played were a paricular hit. We very much enjoyed them. I would recommend this KOA to anyone.

Camp grounds well maintained and clean. Sites were a little small and close to each other, but the entertainment was awesome. KOA pricing a bit expensive compared to others, but again well taken care of.

The Karin and Tom are always very welcoming and accommodating when we stay. This weekend in particular was so much fun having not 1 but 2! Nights of live music, candy hunts, bubble slip and slide, face painting and ice cream socials. Another weekend experience that has us suggesting Houghton/Letchworth KOA whenever we talk camping with others.

Beautiful campground, wonderful accommodations! Spotless camp ground and spotless bathrooms. Large unisex toilet/shower accommodations! The bands that played were2 nights were excellent! The kids events fantastic, as well as the adult events! Can’t say enough, extremely friendly owners and staff. You won’t be disappointed!

My stay was nothing short of amazing easy pull through site lots of things for the children to do workers were pleasant and helpful. Read the reviews and I will have to say you can’t make everyone happy. I had no issues at all

Nice campground. Loved the individual restroom/shower. Beautiful Letchworth State Park was close. Only by negative was that is was pretty far off the beaten path.

Further from Letchworth State Park than we expected however we needed a cabin big enough for us, our daughter & 3 grandchildren. The grandchildren love swimming & enjoyed the pool. The cabin is right across the road from the playground & nicely lit bathhouse with 6 individual bathrooms with a walk-in shower & a laundry mat if needed. Picnic table, firepit w/grill, backyard roomy.

Stayed in a cabin, it was wonderful. The pool was gorgeous. My family loved our visit... Definitely would recommend!

Our deluxe cabin was very clean and contained all the things that we needed. Our children loved that we had the playgrounds right next to our cabin. The fire pit area was somewhat secluded behind the cabin, which we liked. The pool was also a hit with our children. All the staff that we encountered were friendly.

The stay was great. I just wish all the roads didn’t dead end. A nice big loop around the campground would be ideal for walking the dog. I understand there is a wooded trail that may loop but the bugs were awful and we didn’t want to take the trail.

The young lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. She would smile and wave when she drove by our site. I’m not sure who the older gentleman was on the golf cart but he wouldn’t wave or smile. Very well kept campground. We enjoyed our stay and we will be back again.

It was a beautiful weekend and stay, we loved that it was a small campground, the only complaints were the very unlevel ground that was givin to set up on. Our camper tires were hanging off the ground in order to get the camper somewhat level and the constant construction starting at 8am right next to the campground and our site. Overall had a great time

Short stay. Owner acted annoyed that we showed up and had questions. Deluxe cabin was super mildew covered inside and wreaked of Lysol. Bath house was very nice.

Thank you for your review. We apologize if we came across annoyed, we gladly answer all questions once we get through the check-in process. We will look into the mildew in the Deluxe Cabin, but the cabins are cleaned daily and was just cleaned when you arrived, which is why you smelled the Lysol.

Very peaceful stay. On the L loop. Restrooms are updated and clean. The pool was great. We had three hot days and enjoyed the outdoor pool.

we came with another family that was having a 90th birthday party with their mom. They rented 3 cabins and the rv site between them. We were in the next row back. Nice site to stay on except quite a slope outside the door. There was a problem with the water so we had to use the water next door. had enough hose and were offered more if we needed it. VERY friendly owners. We had a great time.

Campground is awesome. Good variety of different sites to choose from. Lots of activities to keep the kids busy! We will definitely be back!

We love this campground. The sites are great. The staff are always so friendly. The owner and family were out on a horseback ride late Sunday after most guests left and stopped to talk to us for a while and let the kids pet the miniature horse!!

Fantastic RV Park. Very clean and appealing. Very quite with no busy roads nearby. Tom and Kiran were very welcoming. We will definitely visit them again.
