Our spot had electrical surges and our surge protector shut everything down. Switched sites and still had problems. Sleepless night, hot with no fan or AC. Asked owner for refund, refused and said unless he is certain the problem was on his end, said he would check the electric and call me back. Did not get a call back. Terrible way to treat a KOA member!

The hosts are so friendly and helpful. Gave us a number of recommendations to do around the area and all were a must see and Topnotch!! Would definitely recommended AND visit again!!

I highly recommend staying at this very unique KOA, hosted by extremely welcoming hosts�ϋ�The grounds are beautiful & the views of the mountains with a full moon, coming up thru the trees was breathtaking.The site was very clean, as were the showers, bathrooms and laundry area. We loved all the amenities including the pool, game room, mini golf course, etc. Loved our stay there.

Look the other way seems to be the philosophy. We rented a back in site (10) only to find out a few hours later that our neighbors next door had TWO Campers and TWO tents on one site. For a total of 8+ people. Of course they then needed to use our electrical box to charge their phones, etc. KOA staff drove by no less than 6X in the golf cart and no one said a thing. We likely won't return.

This is a very nice shaded campground with easy access to the Black Hills and Badlands. The staff was friendly and helpful. This was my first stay at a Koa campground where you could order breakfast and they will cook it for you, as well as a propane campfire ring they will turn on upon request. The bathrooms were also very clean.

Our stay at the Hot Springs KOA was very enjoyable. The campground was clean and the bathrooms were too. The stay was very friendly and helpful. We had the KOA breakfast three days in a row and each one was delicious. I would highly recommend the Hot Springs KOA to anyone.

First stay at a KOA campground and it was a great experience. My wife and I just purchased our rv a couple of weeks ago and this was our first time out in it. Staff was extremely friendly and restrooms/showers were clean. Thank you for a great first time experience!

We absolutely love the KOA campground in Hot Springs… The staff is fantastic… Plenty of shade in all the RV spots and the cabins are amazing.

We stayed almost a month as there is so much to see in South Dakota and we are full-timers. The staff is super friendly, very helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. The WiFi is ok but not great. Bathrooms are older but kept clean. We have a 45 foot motorhome with satellite, so were in site 54. The sites are a little tight but we fit just fine and satellite worked. We would stay here again.

Staff was friendly and helpful. I would rate this KOA a 5 but for the dog poop left by some inconsiderate person and their dog. We do not have a dog. I felt that the poop (several piles) should have been cleaned up before we arrived.

The staff were amazing people very friendly and helpful. Willing to go out of there way to make pizza for us. Very knowledgeable about things in the area and took the time to help in any way.

Cab. 27 not good for a long stay. Campers on the grass next to it, people right behind it. No one went in and cleaned before we showed up. Had to sweep & get rid of cob webs. Did comp wood for that. Had a mini fridge, expected 3 ft one not a countertop one. For the $70ish a night charge it sucked. The only decent thing was AC worked. New owners. I guess we'll see how they take care of the place.

Crazy high priced.... Not easy at all to get in and out of rv spots.... Have a 42ft and could not get in until the rv in the next spot over put their awning in.... Ok for small campers w/o slides

The site was very accommodating. The only issue that I had was with the laundry. There were only four washers with one of them being out of order. For a Holiday location I expected more. I ending up going in to town to the laundomat to get my laundry done.

The setting is beautiful, everything was clean and well laid out. The staff were very friendly, and welcoming and they offer an amazing breakfast!

Way too much noise in this campground. People pulling in all hours of the night. We had a camper next to us at 1 am he used a drill for his back jacks and it was a 45 minute ordeal. When you travel all day and want some sleep this is not the place to go.

We would have preferred a site further away from the road. With the Sturgis event going on - it was very loud. Also on two separate days the bathroom was closed at 10:30, even though the sign says closed 11-1.

Family of 4 adults, 2 kids and 3 dogs and our stay was September 9, 2023 to October 8, 2023. All utilities were still on and working great. The site we stayed in was #18 which was a gravel pull through. The hosts and their family were very helpful, friendly and great! The laundry room was good but due to us being a large family we went into Hot Springs (short drive) and used the Hot Springs Laundromat, and it was great. Hot Springs has everything you need but a bit pricier due to the touristy nature. We used the dog park (which was great f/the dogs to run), mini-golf and playground. Pool was closed to being off-season. You can purchase firewood at the front office, and they will deliver to site and also cleaned out all pits early in the morning (had never seen that before). We will definitely stay here again should we be traveling through.

Stayed here in September 2023. The cabin was clean, and the breakfast served was very good. Staff were friendly. It was nice having breakfast at the campground as options nearby are limited.
