We loved this KOA! Clean bathrooms & showers! Super friendly staff who really made you feel at home. Pool & put-put. Not over-crowded. Shaded campsites, and beautiful scenery. We highly recommend staying here over the larger Mt. Rushmore KOA. We stayed there too, and we won't be doing that again. Hot Springs KOA is where it's at.

Very nice place. People were super friendly and very helpful. We had some issues with our trailer and they got us the name of someone to come check it out. Came back several times to make sure we were doing okay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this KOA.

Stayed for 3 weeks and were happy we did, great staff, pool super clean and breakfast was wonderful. Lots of trees and the stars at night were stupendous.

Beautiful campground. Quiet and clean. The pool was sparkling but not over chlorinated. Nice showers.

Friendly staff, always available. Clean sites. Lots of free activities (mini golf, basketball, etc) and everything you need was readily available. Trashcans were never completely full. Pool was clean. We didn't try the breakfast but they do offer that every morning. They will turn on the central propane fire pit quickly upon request.

the lady at the office was nice. that said We were put in space 55. so out of level, we could not level up. A class A has about 12 to 14 inches to play with ,this site was 28 to 34 inches out of level front to back. even the 5th wheel people were complaining, two spaces over the 5th wheel was 6 inches off the ground in the front, 36 inches up on the back. 2. replace the shower heads.

I’ve stayed at many koa’s thru the past few years, and though most are very good, this one is outstanding! My wife and I couldn’t quit commenting on the niceness of the entire staff, and cleanliness and upkeep of the entire grounds. A special thank you to Pete & terry who both checked up on our group multiple times during our stay. This koa is tops and we are looking forward to being back

Very clean campground! Wonderful for kids with mini golf, tether ball, basketball, and a playground! Great game room! Easy to pull in and set up. Friendly and helpful staff.

Great location for the things to do in Hot Springs. Staff was wonderful; knowledgeable, helpful, friendly. The breakfast offerings were “the best”; especially the hash brown scramble. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff was great very helpful The grounds and the buildings were clean. the two things that I would prefer is one to have some grass in my spot for my dog to use there was a lot of gravel he doesn’t like gravel. It is nice to have the pet fence in area but my dog is older and didn’t want to walk that far to it in the heat. The other was that a lot of the spots had an good incline .

The facilities where very nice and clean. The employees were very helpful. Only wish there was another bathroom and faster wi-fi. Most people stream vs cable and it would be nice to have more access to high speed internet.

We loved this KOA! They had lots of things to do for the kids. My boys loved playing badminton and putt-putt. The pool was cool and clean. We loved how the sites were nestled among tall evergreens. We also enjoyed the breakfast they offered. And I can't forget to mention the nicest staff!

The staff was exceptional. They helped us coordinate repairs on our trailer, they were very knowledgeable about the area, and overall very pleasant to deal with. The best KOA we’ve been at by far.

Family of 4 adults, 2 kids and 3 dogs and our stay was September 9, 2023 to October 8, 2023. All utilities were still on and working great. The site we stayed in was #18 which was a gravel pull through. The hosts and their family were very helpful, friendly and great! The laundry room was good but due to us being a large family we went into Hot Springs (short drive) and used the Hot Springs Laundromat, and it was great. Hot Springs has everything you need but a bit pricier due to the touristy nature. We used the dog park (which was great f/the dogs to run), mini-golf and playground. Pool was closed to being off-season. You can purchase firewood at the front office, and they will deliver to site and also cleaned out all pits early in the morning (had never seen that before). We will definitely stay here again should we be traveling through.

Stayed here in September 2023. The cabin was clean, and the breakfast served was very good. Staff were friendly. It was nice having breakfast at the campground as options nearby are limited.
