Excellent location, clean, well-kept facilities, and gracious accommodating hosts. We’d enthusiastically recommend this KOA to all of our friends with a taste for RV camping and life on the road.

planned on only staying 2 nights but ended up staying 4. Todd and family go above and beyond what is required of them. Will definitely stay there again if I'm in the area. Shower stalls could be a little bigger but they do the job.

Wonderful KOA! We stayed in the deluxe cabin which appeared new and well maintained. This cabin was a great value for the price! The rv sites are spaced nicely. The campground is in the trees and just a beautiful setting!

We stayed at the Hot Springs KOA late in the season and the hosts were more than accommodating. From the friendly voice on the phone and flexible dates, Suzanne and Todd demonstrate the qualities needed to manage the park. Our site was clean, they helped us get in the site perfectly, they delivered firewood, the restrooms were spotless, & I swear they have a water softener! A relaxing experience!

Great place to stay. Easy drive to several tourist sites. Owners were really nice and helpful. Showers clean and hot. Site has a good amount of trees and foliage so you don’t feel like you are camping in a parking lot.

It was wonderful. Wish we had got there a lot earlier. The sites are in amongst the trees which was great. It really felt like camping. The amenities look great but we got there right at dark. The staff was great. Would definitely go back and stay a few days. Will recommend to our camping friends.

Fabulous setting in pines and junipers of the lower Bla ck Hills. Great hosts, lots to do at the campground, clean facilities. Will be back for a longer stay.

The camp sites are spacious and not crammed together.. the staff was amazing!!! Susan let me borrow her cooking pan when we realized we forgot part of our equipment!! Was great spot!!!

The lady behind the check in desk was more than helpful and let us pick between a few open spots for our stay. It was off season but still beautiful area. She recommended some local attractions which were nice. Laundry and store area clean. Nice K9 fenced in area.

Owners and hosts are wonderful and the grounds are beautiful. Our travel plans changed and We called and were able to get a spot for the same nite..though it was October they were still busy! . This is a great campground in a convenient location. Highly recommend!!,

Beautiful campground, super friendly and helpful staff. Would only change 3 things - add screen doors to the cabins, swap out the porch lights for the cool flickering ones, and add a couple more hooks in the shower areas. Thank you for a great stay!

The staff, and especially Susanne, we’re excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Excellent customer service. Cabins and bathrooms were very clean. I just wish the cabins were spread out more instead of right on top of each other. The rate is very reasonable. I would stay here again for sure

The time I was there it was nice and pleasant. It was people friendly and it was also one of the cleanest campgrounds I’ve ever stayed. The restrooms, showers and restaurants were very clean. The staff were very professional and helpful. Their best ability was their availability. Keep up the good work guys I shall return.

Considering I spent a night here in mid-October, the staff stayed on duty until 8:00 pm, offering pizza made and delivered to my campsite. The laundry and restrooms/showers were super clean at 5:00 pm. There were a few of us enjoying the amenities this time of the year, and happy to be out there! Thank you.

Overnight stay late fall. Camp was about empty. Excellent WiFi, was able to stream likely due to very low demand. Exceptionally clean facilities, very well kept camp grounds. Exceptionally nice Hosts.

This is a very nice campground. One of the few still open in mid October. Good for exploring the southern Black Hills and riding the Michelson Trail. Bathrooms are clean. Nearby highway is noisy but cable tv is a good distraction. Rates are reasonable.

We had a great time! The campground staff was very friendly and helpful. The dog walk area is huge, our bulldog loved it! We had pizza delivered to our campsite and it was delicious, nice touch! We will definitely stop there again!

This was the best place place that we stayed on our cross country tour… it was clean and well kept. The most important the family that ran the grounds were extremely nice and helpful during our stay. We will definitely stay on our next trip out west!

We stay here at least once a year and this stay was so peaceful and quiet. Well except that someone left their dog in their cabin. Just glad we heard the dog the day we were leaving and didn't have to listen to it for a long period of time.

Absolutely fantastic stay! The campground hosts were accommodating to the max! Lent us a cable tv cable and figured out how to use it with our tv for the first time. Loved our stay so much we stayed an extra day. Will be returning to this campground in the future.

Great campground nestled right into the pine trees. Private tent sites tucked away from the big rigs! Great little store and laundry room. A wonderful little oasis on a long trip!

Loved the little cabin we stayed in, it was so quiet and peaceful. The facilities were very clean and the Hosts were friendly. Would definitely come back again!

Amazing stay!! The park is beautiful and has a great mountain feel. Close to state and national parks, so much to see! The owners are so helpful and pleasant. Great pizzas too! Thank you for one of our favourite stays!!!!

Very nice , but the Wi fi was not the greatest and a few problems with the cable for our tv , your camp host Peter was great , very friendly , he worked very hard to get the tv working properly for us . We understand things can happen but he truly went out of his way to make it right , the office attendant was very helpful too ! We look forward to coming back again, thank you!

Really nice campground. We were here about 5 yeats ago and facilities were even nicer than we remembered. Cabin and bathrooms were very clean. Really appreciated the small refrig in the cabin. The TV was an unexpected surprise. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Family of 4 adults, 2 kids and 3 dogs and our stay was September 9, 2023 to October 8, 2023. All utilities were still on and working great. The site we stayed in was #18 which was a gravel pull through. The hosts and their family were very helpful, friendly and great! The laundry room was good but due to us being a large family we went into Hot Springs (short drive) and used the Hot Springs Laundromat, and it was great. Hot Springs has everything you need but a bit pricier due to the touristy nature. We used the dog park (which was great f/the dogs to run), mini-golf and playground. Pool was closed to being off-season. You can purchase firewood at the front office, and they will deliver to site and also cleaned out all pits early in the morning (had never seen that before). We will definitely stay here again should we be traveling through.

Stayed here in September 2023. The cabin was clean, and the breakfast served was very good. Staff were friendly. It was nice having breakfast at the campground as options nearby are limited.
