The Wilderness Center
This is a great place for the family. There are some displays in the main building, a nature store, a room where you can sit and observe birds and other animals. Several miles of hiking trails are located on the property including some where you are allowed to walk your dog. There is no admission fee and several public programs are available monthly. Within 1 hour of Homerville KOA, Horseshoe Casino Cleveland is located in the Historic Higbee Building in downtown Cleveland and opens May 14, 2012. With 96,000 square feet of non-stop gaming action, the casino features approximately 2,100 slot machines, 65 table games and a 30-table World Series of Poker room. Horseshoe Cleveland offers several dining options, including a 400 seat buffet, a 3-outlet food court as well as two bars.
Ohio's Amish Country

Northern Ohio Railway Musem
The Museum is located at 5515 Buffham Road in Seville, Ohio (near Chippewa Lake). There, on two miles of the historic Cleveland Southwestern Railway, the museum is working to attain its goals to collect, preserve, restore, display and operate streetcars and other railway equipment for for the education of the public. The Museum is open to the public for guided walking tours on Saturdays 10 am to 4 pm, May 15th through October 29th. Admission is free, donations are requested. For more information, click here.
