The Campground is at a convenient location to the Petrified Forest/Painted Desert and Winslow. But, it is fairly muddy after some rain and some areas look a little like a construction zone. Not the most attractive RV park.

Office person not friendly. Site was undeterminable, in that no area of pad by compacted gravel. Very loose gravel on site sinking both truck and 5th wheel.

Staff very friendly. Place has a lot of mud and not enough gravel. Cable for local stations and such is very poor and could not be used. Wi-Fi is good. It is a good stop over for the one night.

Arrived late, 8 pm. Easily Found key and map and cabin. Cabin was clean, favorably decorated, and warm. Quiet and restful night.

It was ok they had rain the day and night we got there so much mud and red clay all over camper need more rock in the spots etc. but other than that it was very nice.

Great place as a stopover for journeying through or if you’re doing trips into the Petrified Forest. Excellent play area for children. Nearby, walkable distance, are places to eat if you don’t fancy cooking

While, the location is convenient, it was a little tired looking. The staff was wonderful, and the woman who checked us and couldn’t have been more helpful, even though we arrived late. I think renovating the laundry and bath areas would go a long way.

Office staff was friendly enough. Park colud use more gravel at least on the sites - site was not up to normal KOA parks we have stayed in. I am guessing it's a matter of economics, as Holbrook in general seems to not be doing well. Did not use showers, etc. Suggest getting one of the wider sites.

Our site and nearly all sites were mud pits. We felt no reason rock couldn’t be added to all to fix the issue. Men’s bathroom wasn’t cleaned for 3 days.

Laundry room wasn’t really clean, rained while we were there, not enough rock at the side, so very muddy, Sites really aren’t made for larger rigs the women’s bathroom had no light over the door so at night it was hard to key in the code to get in,, staff was very friendly at check-in. Check in went smoothly.

the site they put me in 94 had trees that extended into the site and in order to get the slides out i had to pull way forward and it was very unlevel and i could never get my outlevel on my RV to get right. even moving around blocks to everything. Other than that the campground was very nice

This KOA is well kept up and the staff is very friendly. The sites are very large and well spaced. The proximity to I40 and the national parks is a great perk. I would recommend and stay here again.

My 3rd stay here. Appreciate the microwave and mini fridge. Heater worked well and kept us warm. Only 2 private tent sites. Only KOA out of the 8 I have used in the past year to charge $15 per fee per night!

Campground is very clean, had lots of amenities, and the sites have a lot of room. It is in a great location and easy to get to.

Excellent location for our recent travel. Staff was kind and park very clean. Within walking distance is a wonderful restaurant, Camileon.

Very nice park. The gas grill was too dirty to use but I think that's a hard thing to maintain with public use.

Perfect location for visiting the Petrified Forest NP and local gift shops. Spacious sights, everything worked. (Didn't use the WiFi, have Starlink.

We tent camped here for one night while on a longer roadtrip, overall pretty decent KOA. We really liked the tent campsite we booked with privacy fences. Only downside for us was we were told the site had running hot and cold water in the little kitchen area within the site but the water wasn't running or set up so we had to go use the other sink by the bathrooms, no big deal overall though. If you plan to set up a tent on the tent pads filled with rocks be prepared to not be able to stake it down due to the rocks only being about 2 inches deep with solid ground under it, we set up in the wind so that wasn't ideal but we just weighed the tent down inside with our duffle bags. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Location is near the highway and right behind a McDonalds so you'll hear some noise at night.

Nice staff and everything was made simple. I'm not sure I've seen a bad KOA come to think of it. The location is very close to Route 66 and Petrified Forest/ Painted Desert. I should probably mention that Romo's restaurant is about 6 minutes away. If you're RVing, great location.
