The location was great.easy on and off the freeway. The best wifi and best cable of the trip. The pool was large and well maintained.the cowboy cookouts and pancake breakfast were a highlight. There were no trees but the pluses outweigh that minus.

Very disappointing. Checkin person almost rude. Had his spill to say and nothing more, spoke very fast to get it done. Very dead pan. Did not answer direct questions. Asked for directions which he gave very fast and dead pan. We did not understand and he did not repeat himself. Walked away while we were still standing there. Campground was a parking lot with a hand full of small lifeless trees.

I LOVED the vintage trailer collection! Sites were nice and level, they have a nice pool and spa. Easy access to everything.

Staff at this parg are great, but the park and store are in need of care and maintenance, Overall stay was OK.

Nice park, great reception, clean, only criticism would be the large rock gravel in the yards. The new dog run was really nice and grassy. The internet service was about as good as Tengo gets.

We were on a big loop around the Ntnl Parks and decided to hit Meteor Crater and Petrified Forest before heading home. Both were nice, and this KOA was a good launching pad. The KOA was clean with good hookups. We had a pull-through. They had all-you-can-eat pancakes at 7 am ($2.99). They had a reasonably priced dinner. John was super helpful. Wish I could write more (limit reached). -Cha

KOA is always a good experience. The staff was helpful and friendly. I just stayed one night, but I was treated as if I was to stay for 10. Thanks KOA.

John was so helpful and was a world of information. Would not have known about the time zones in NM had he not informed. Good place to stay overnight.

After a long hot drive it was pleasant to be greeted by the staff (man). He was good spirited and helpful. Assisted us with our next days reservations and gave helpful information about traveling down the road. Wish all KOA's were as helpful and pleasant as this location. Good value.

Great overnight park with adequate campsites and good clean facilities. They offer chuck wagon dinners which are very good & well received when on the road.

Nice, large pool. Very friendly and helpful office staff. Clean facilities.

close stay for the petrified forest and equidistant for grand canyon west (skywalk) and grand canyon nat'l forest proper. you gotta upgrade for the super tent area b/c it's way more private. mind the black widows, btw.

Close to the interstate so u get interstate noise and other camper noise. Tent sites had nice soft patches of grass to set up on with picnic tables. Shower and bathrooms were clean and in good working order. Pancake breakfast was cheap and filling.

Compared to other KOAs, the dog area was quite poor. No brochures for local attractions. No trees whatsoever!

We arrived late and the office was closed. But an envelope with our name was taped to the front. It reminded me of camping as a kid, when much was on the honor system. This KOA served a pancake breakfast (all you can eat, seasonally) with coffee for $2.99. Can't beat that. Friendly staff, quiet campground.

The male owner needs better propel skills. Restaurant is good, so is pool.
Jun 18, 2014
good park good staff and overall satisfied
Jun 17, 2014
Great rv hookups and bath house. Pool needs some work and resurface.
Jun 17, 2014
Good wifi and eats. Spaces large. Excellent location for petrified forest and painted desert
Jun 16, 2014
Friendly service, clean facilities. I would stay here again.
Jun 16, 2014
The space was so tiny that we could barely fit our camper in it. The pool was nasty and did not appear to have been cleaned in a long time. It advertised the Petrified Forest as a local attraction but it was 20 miles away. The town of Holbrook itself was a place that we would never visit.
