We were only here for one night and it rained most of the time. Our campsite was very nice and clean. Huge campground with lots to do. Their frisbee golf was a lot of fun. Great views of the river . Friendly staff

Had some good points and some bad points. Staff was friendly and helpful. Park appeared to be run down. Advertised cable was included, but there was no cable. Firewood was out of stock for most of the stay. They have a nice river to tubing, but staff stacks all of their shrubbery that they burn right next to where you enter the water. Overall it wasn’t the best or worst place we’ve stayed.

Although it rained most of the stay, the staff kept up with any needs for the weekend and were helpful with all inquiries. Thanks to Josh for his assistance.

They could be a little more helpful by taking you to your site had to back down dead end road for the price to stay the sites are a little close.

Enjoyed the campground and mine and we will be back next year too. Only suggestions we could make is to have a HOST CAMPER well signed near the office for after hours help. And active cable TV would be a great RE-addition.

Super clean and tidy, great location along the river and a ton of amenities. Impressive camp store. Cool Ice cream trailer, and the kid/mom serving were awesome. Great place for Kayaking! We stayed in mid June and it seemed like miners Village area across the street was always closed. Nothing happened at the pavilion either so kind of disappointing. Site 108 sewer needs work (backed up/smelly).

Awesome Stay. The young folks in the office were great, very kind, helpful and respectful. We went across the street to the mine and there was a young lady in the shop, I bought a $30 jewelry grab bag and got a gorgeous bracelet, so happy! We found a large Herk diamond in a rock and the nice young man in the shop told us all about it, worth $300-$400! Super time! Already booked for next year!

None of the activities were running, they only have things open during July and August. I don’t think they should have a up charge on weekends when there is nothing different going on. I don,t think they should be a resort maybe a Holiday KOA.

All in all it was a great trip, however my site (65) there was issues with the electric hookup. Our camper kept kicking off, never any issues with it anywhere else. Something was going on with that site (65). I also rescued a little girl from the river Saturday night, she fell off her tube and was being swept down the river and was Not a good swimmer. A free night would be nice as a thank you.

I know that it has new owners that are very nice! but they have lots of work to do! We have never stayed there or at an KOA that the lawn is not taken care of! The dog park isn’t mowed, Actually most of the lawn had not been manicured at all The sites were not cleaned actually had to go ask for another site as it was not clean! The price we paid for the stay we are hoping it changes!

Love the shade but picnic tables was covered in bird droppings. No longer offer cable TV. We are Airstream owners and your advertisement is a misrepresentation of Airstream products! If your intent is to sell alcoholic beverages I think that is a bad idea at a family campground. We have camped at your facility almost yearly for the past several years. We live close by. Not likely we will return.

It was our first time here (second time ever camping) and we LOVED it. The kids had a fantastic time. The facilities were beautifully maintained, and there was so much to do. We ended up booking for 2024

we have stayed here in the past and really enjoyed it. This season, there was less staff, no consistency to previous years with check-in and cleanliness. The store/office was not open early and seemed to have random hours. One camper went from site to site to ask for quarters for the laundry machine as the office/ store was closed and no change machine. Overall, good stay.

We stayed for 3 nights in a pull-through site. The campground was very quiet and we really enjoyed having direct access to the river. I particularly appreciated the walking trail and the good roads around the campsite. If we return to this location, we shall definitely stay at Herkimer Diamond KOA.

Great campground. Friendly staff and campers. Just getting too expensive. Sad that many KOA's are starting to price themselves so high. We are starting to ,check out locally owned campgrounds as we search for places to stay.

There is minimal cell service and the camp wifi is terrible. For the price of the stay, reliable wifi should be available. The removal of the playground and basketball court forced all of the kids to the only remaining play area, bring back another play area! Heat the pool so you can actually use it! The DJ dance party was TERRIBLE,bring back the DJ. The DAILY activity fee is insane and overpriced

The price went way up but the experience went way down. Sites not mowed, kids activities lacked supplies, DJ was bad, the nice playground is gone and wifi is terrible. Paying $130 per night plus an additional $20 per night for activities is expensive. I don't mind paying extra for a quality experience but unfortunately we just didn't get what we paid for this time. Attention to detail is needed.

Don’t skimp on the DJ and fix the WiFi. Get rid of the chess board, or take the pieces away during quiet hours so we don’t have to listen to a kid bang them on the ground at 6:10am. $20 activity fees is stupid.

This a first time for all of us and was different. I had fun even though the rain had to remind us that we're powerless when nature brings the rain. Several diamonds were found including several decent sized ones. Prices in the shop were a bit steep for my budget but the little experience I've had with Crystals kinda shows what we all know...quality is not cheap. I do wish I had brought a few larger rocks back as I now have the means to cut into them. I did grab a few that should look nice after a session in the rock tumbler.

We camped here last weekend for their season opening. The staff was so very nice at both the Campgrounds and the Mines. Everyone we met was just absolutely just the most friendly and welcoming that we had an amazing time and immediately rebooked to come back when it's a tiny bit warmer. Despite having a rainy and cold weekend, the view of the creek was lovely and my kids had a ton of fun at the mines and my little guy loved the playground.
