Always a pleasant stay. Campground has spacious sites and close to places to go and see. Farmers market in Harrisonburg has lots of items on Saturdays.

Campground is very nice and getting a lot of upgrades and cleaning. This is a great place to just relax and enjoy peace and quiet. We always enjoy our stay at this KOA and all the staff are very nice and helpful.

Wwe only had a 1 night stay, but the site was very nice. Next time we will arrange to stay longer.

Stayed the weekend with family. Nice relaxing place with some fun games, pool, playground and little fishing pond. Staff were great from time we checked in to time we left. The bathrooms and shower area were clean.We will be back soon.

Wonderful campground!! Bathrooms/shower houses were always clean. Several things to do with family and everyone was so friendly. We will definitely stay again!!!

Campground is beautiful, but our site was right next to a Bee Hive in the tree next to our camper. Staff said 3 Bee Keepers had been called and they’d gotten no response. They offered to move us but we’d already set up. Just don’t know why if they were aware of the hive that they would have put anyone there in the first place. Only stayed one night and we stayed inside our camper.

Pros - scenic location - friendly staff (for the most part) - Andrew and Sam very helpful - pool - activities for kids - 24hr laundry with clean machines and a basket on wheels to maneuver clothing from washer to dryer - loved the hand carved signs - great Wi-Fi - water had no chemical smell. Cons - site 8 was very unlevel and tight to fit our truck in - some pets were not leashed and noisy.

A very peaceful campground, well laid out for privacy. Campers were quiet and respectful of quiet hours, a huge bonus. Staff were very cheerful and courteous, and the escort,/ backup directors were marvelously patient. A lovely stay.

We only stayed one night, as we were traveling back to NC from a vacation in Cooperstown, NY. Check in / hook up went smoothly. We enjoyed having cable TV, as it rained that night. Our son will be attending JMU starting this August so we will surely be staying at this KOA again over the next few years. I'm glad we have a nice campground for our RV when we need it for visits to JMU.

Rained everyday we were there. Site was not level very wet and muddy by electrical area. Dog Park at ft of park as well as all other facilities.

This koa has been my favorite for years. Twice a season we stay here. This time, after driving 7.5 hours in pouring rain, we pulled in just over an hour early. Was charged $25 for that; the site was empty and clean. The employees excuse - under new management. The reason we chose this campground was it advertised "minutes" from Shenandoah National Park. It is 45 minutes from the park entrance, so misleading. We arrived an hour early and had to pay a fee even though the sites were open. WiFi is too weak to work, and cable lines are broken. It was a big disappointment all around.

After a long day of travel we were looking forward to relaxing by the pool. We got there and there was a sign no alcohol which was a bummer. After getting really hot I went to get in the pool only to see several spiders. Some dead some alive & dirt.I did take photos.We read the rules on brochure and they said open display of alcohol could result in dismal of campground.1st KOA we have seen this.

The campground was nice, clean, & quiet. The staff were great. My only, very minor, complaints are that the entry/exit point is very narrow & doesn't allow multiple vehicles to come and go at the same time, & that the WiFi was not good. I know many people want to disconnect when camping but it's also nice to be able to wind down at night and throw on a movie with the family, etc. Would stay again

Great location, newly remodeled bath facilities with wonderful water pressure, a dog bath area we used and lived the quiet location. Staff very nice and helpful and very cute store. stays for 4 days

My husband and I had a very pleasant stay. The staff were very kind. The facilities were clean. It was very quiet and peaceful. A bit of advice, if you are arriving after 6:00pm, call ahead of time and ask which way to come in and park. There are no one way roads but depending on your spot it can be difficult to back depending on your approach. During the day the staff guides you to your spot

This is our second time back. The new management has really impressed us and turned this place into top notch. On top of the appearance being perfect the staff was amazing. Every time we needed ice or firewood they were quick to deliver directly to our campsite. The campsite had a bunch of people working on upgrades and keeping the camp clean. We loved that they had pizza as an option for breakfast and dinner.

Campground has a homey, woodsy feel. Sites are gravel and level. Staff is very friendly.

Great campground conveniently located near Route 81 but far enough away to provide a quiet, peaceful stay. Great for a quick stop on the way or a destination itself. There is plenty to do for recreation including playground and pool. Can accommodate even the largest rigs with plenty of back-in or pull through sites. The staff are incredibly polite and helpful. They work hard to meet your every need. Terry was a delight to work with and made our stay wonderful.
