Everything was awesome! Clean, well equipped, safe, loved the location, friendly staff and other campers... I'm going to become a KOA addict!!!! We will definitely be back!

Nice site but was advertised to have cable tv. There was no cable tv on our site Otherwise it was a very clean and nice campground

Excellent camping experience. Nice sites, WIFI that works, super clean bathrooms. Might be the best KOA of the year so far.

This was our first time staying in an RV, and we had a great experience. The grounds were well maintained, no shortage of activities for our kids, and the people were wonderful! We enjoyed taking advantage of ice and firewood delivery daily. Our family can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed our brief stay. We had camped there many times while our daughter attended JMU. We had a favorite site, but it was not available when we called to make reservations. Michelle was kind enough to spend time on the phone with me to help me fine another perfect spot. We now have a "new" favorite spot! I truly appreciated her kindness and efforts. Hope to be back this year!

We were only there for an overnighted but the KOA was clean , bathrooms were great and the laundry facilities were perfect. We will definitely be going back for a longer visit !

We have stayed here three separate times during our travels. Typically we are late arrivals, and this campground makes it so easy to check in and get our van parked in the nice level sites. We love seeing all the wood carvings throughout the campground.

What a fantastic experience. My family has been to countless state parks and KOA’s camping. This is one of our most favorite campgrounds. The staff was fantastic and the entire campground was clean and tidy. Bathrooms were excellent and showers clean. It was the perfect quiet stay even with most sites being booked. The pool was a blast and activities were awesome! The hay ride was great too!!

Happy camping ground! The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. They even have pizza you can order and they deliver right to your campsite! A “must stay” if you are camping along the skyline drive or cavern exploring.

Our truck broke done I gave them 4 days notice yes it was the forth but they rented out the site no refund

This was the best KOA that we have stayed at. Great communication. Wifi speed and connectivity is excellent. Several amenities / play areas for children. A lovely fishing pond. Clean restrooms and showers. Laundry room appeared clean and machines all appeared in operating condition. Staff highly visible and ready to help.

This KOA is sweet & oldfashioned, very quiet and set in the most gorgeous area surrounded by caverns and forests. It appears to be a small family business so the office hours are shorter than bigger organizations, but it looks and feels so much like the camps of the 1950’s and 1960’s that it’s easy to settle in and enjoy the simplicity. The cabins look most inviting. Rv spots are smallish.

our stay was fine and guest services were very, very polite. The camping ground was clean manage nicely. Would've liked to see a little more clearing around the swimming pool and it seem to be cloudy, less inviting so we didn't use it. It was nice having a rock fire pit. The cable TV connection had a vast amount of channels available unlike other campsites.

Staff happily changed our site when we told them that the original site they had given us was very unlevel. Staff also brought to our attention that we could use points to get a refund on our deposit. (I thought points could only be used for stays of 2 or more days.)

Tight roads getting to the campground. Campground is mature and can be difficult for larger set ups to navigate, but if you are okay with that it’s a beautiful campground with a friendly and helpful team!

This was the nicest campground!! I wish we were coming home that way so we could stay there again. We will definitely stay there again when heading north. Very nice staff!!

Very nice little campground. Very secluded. Small enough to be able to walk around quickly. Camp store was very nice. My only 2 complaints one being no golf carts. I have a toy hauler for a reason. I like to bring my golf cart to camp grounds. Second was the fishing pond. Took my boys fishing and didn't catch one fish. So maybe stock it a little better. All in all it's a very nice campground.

We only stayed one night but it was good. We were greeted and followed the golf cart to our site and were asked if we needed anything. The dog park was nice for our 2 dogs. We will stay again.

Harrisonburg / Shenandoah Valley KOA is set in a beautiful location. The campground is well maintained and the staff is friendly. I look forward to returning again.

This is our second time back. The new management has really impressed us and turned this place into top notch. On top of the appearance being perfect the staff was amazing. Every time we needed ice or firewood they were quick to deliver directly to our campsite. The campsite had a bunch of people working on upgrades and keeping the camp clean. We loved that they had pizza as an option for breakfast and dinner.

Campground has a homey, woodsy feel. Sites are gravel and level. Staff is very friendly.
