Jefferson County's Best Kept Secret!

The Harpers Ferry/Civil War Battlefields KOA is a fantastic vacation destination spot that's perfect for the whole family. Thanks to you, this year we received the 2011 KOA  PRESIDENT'S AWARD. That means our campground facilities and Camper satisfaction scores are some of the best around. We are making things even better in 2012!  Our new Specialty Coffee and Wine Store, GRAPES & GRINDS, has been a popular place for morning specialty coffees and evening wine tastings and we added even more deluxe cabins that sleep 4 and offer a private bath and kitchenette. With new manager, Jessie Getman, comes a new twist on our special themed weekends and activities.

We still have all of the fun stuff you've come to love about our kampground, like Polly's Poolside Lookout, an awesome Giant Jumping Pillow,  Kamp K-9 Dog Park,  Civil War Living History Museum, our unbeatable cannon-firing and  hot-off-the-grill pancakes.. So make your plans now to come and make some history all your own. See you soon!

"We purchased an annual Harpers Ferry National Park Pass and they love to walk all of the trails," she says.

Jessica moved to Harpers Ferry in November of 2011. She loves the campgrounds she has been to because of all the wonderful people she meets, " Everyone is so friendly and wants to have a good time. I can't wait to meet everyone here in West Virginia!"
