It was so nice to have a map marked with our camp site when we checked in after hours. Thanks for upgrading our tent site to an RV site! We stayed at the Hardin KOA a year and a half ago and saw some improvements - namely, the new laundry, sink facility is awesome! We'd stay there again.

I arrived early, and they made accomodations for us. The campground was clean and we had everything we needed to be comfortable. Nice people.

Grounds are nice and clean. Shower and bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Hosts are kind and welcoming.

Grain trucks compression braking on the road next to the campground until late at night made sleeping impossible. WI-FI signal was very weak and kept dropping off-even 150 ft from the office. Had to sit at the office to get signal. It may have been the season, but I’ve never had a site with so many flies!

The staff is super friendly and made it a point to welcome me and show me to my tent camping site. The campground equipment is a little dated and my site had a picnic table that had considerable wood rot. The bathrooms weren't the cleanest. Would stay here again in a pinch, but more likely to look for another site in the future.

Very comfortable stay in simple and well-cared for environment. New owners/management are clearly taking steps to make visitors feel welcome and ensure a smooth experience. Unfortunate that pool wasn't in service during a mid-July heat wave (new concrete had just been poured). Good place for a quick, comfortable, hassle-free stopover on journeys to/from Montana.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the bathroom floors were in disrepair, and there is a large factory of some sort across the street that makes loud noise all night as well as shining light that kept us awake. Not the best site for a KOA. :-(

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are brand new owners and the bathrooms are on our on the list to be updated. This KOA has been here since the 60's :)

Had to stay two nights due to road debris putting a hole in my radiator but the owners were very helpful and gave me many suggestions on where and how to get it fixed.

In the face of adversity from a terrible storm, the new owners were attentive, helping everyone and offering cabins for the rest of the night for the safety of tent site dwellers. The facility is in need of a remodel, cleanup. This is the couple equipped for the challenge. The restroom/showers were very clean.

Dave and his wife Gina run the Hardin KOA and were very attentive and kind from the minute we got there. Long story short, I needed to print two legal PDF documents to sign for the sale of my mothers house. Dave kindly made a great effort to get the documents printed for me. (He wasn't sure if he could with the KOA stringent security.) He got it done and was I was so relieved!

Very nice and friendly owner/operators, but this season mosquitos were prevalent, and the "grass" is nothing more than well groomed weeds.

Helpful, friendly, accommodating hosts. Pretty property, convenient to town and sites. Cabins are very comfy. Great place.

Host Gina was very friendly, personable, and engaged. I appreciate her customer service! Her recommendation for a dinner restaurant was excellent. As with other KOAs I visited, it would be nice if wifi reached the tent sites.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Showers were clean and the tent pad was flat, clean and just right for a quick overnight stop.

The description said grassy camp pads, they were dirt and dry dead weeds. Half of the trees were halfway dead. There was nothing about the place that was interesting, fun, exciting, pleasant. it truly was the, somewhat ridiculously entertaining, low point of our entire two-week trip.

The staff when we saw them were helpful. The hours of staff operation are very limited 10 am to 6 pm. Only the bathrooms were open the rest of the time. The laundry and even the community water source was locked up except for the 10 am to 6 pm hours. We were tenting and brought our own water so we didn't have a problem. Those with a RV hookup were ok for water I suppose.

The facility had the essentials and was clean. Staff friendly. I appreciated having a dishwashing area. The camp as a whole seems outdated and in need of a good grounds crew. I’m guessing they are understaff and overworked. You can see they are trying. Would be a GREAT project to help out for a local 4-H or FFA group in this rural town

The campsite was filled with debris. The internet did not work. Everything post good about the place was wrong. The pool did not work. The bathroom was dirty. The sinks were unclean and backup with sewage. Shower was filthy. The owner mismanaged the stuff and caused issues with campers. Water pressure was so low that you could not brush your teeth. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The location was a little rough. The staff was very friendly though. I felt safe there, but it could definitely use some clean up on the property.

Was in a tent spot. It was right next to the road, it was not a pleasant stay. The plus was it was close to water and the restrooms.

We came in late and left very early so we missed the very limited time that the office was open. I left my credit card # on the late arrivals sign-in envelope and the receipt that I received was for a charge higher than I thought was written on the late check-in box. I tried calling the office but the number was always busy so I didn't get to talk with anyone about it and gave up. Clean bathrooms.

Our tent site was right next to the road, which they usually are, but this was a Bery busy country road with semi trucks going by every 5 minutes ( yes we timed it) ALL NIGHT LONG. Full of beets one way, empty the other and they all had beepers on the front we think to scare wildlife...or just tent campers. The facility was fine, bathroom clean...we just didn’t get a lot of sleep.

Love love love this place! Kristy and Jon are working very hard on updating and making this a fun stop along your way. Conveniently off the interstate without the interstate noise. Will absolutely stay here again. Excited about the updates.

Amazing and friendly staff. I had to change my reservation for less days and they were kind and willing. Fun playground. Large dog park. Peaceful place. Highly recommend this KOA!
