We were there to only sleep. However the facilities were clean and perfect. Our site was private and also perfect

We enjoyed our stay. The serviced sites are very small making it hard to park a vehicle next to your rv and have a fire.

Campsite was great as well as staff but where they put us was right beside the sewage. So we had to deal with that lovely smell for our entire stay.

Some tight sites, most are heavily wooded. We actually pulled in rather than backed to form a buddy site with daughters camper. Ended up being perfect! Live music was wonderful. Ice cream and movies at night were great for kids all near the playground. Owner was friendly and campground is very well kept! It was close enough to all kinds of fun and interesting things to do.

We are annual regulars at Halifax West KOA. We like it there. Joe, the manager, know us well and is always very accommodating. Our grandchildren love the playground big bounce pillow and enjoy the pancake breakfast. The concert performer was good. He won us over at the end when he switched to performing our favorite genre of music. We and our guest thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Stayed while touring Halifax and surrounding area. Very convenient location. Clean and well maintained, activities on site for kids. Some sites well treed and more private others very open which was fine for our needs. Staff at the office were pleasant and helpful.

We had a lovely 4 night stay over the long weekend. The staff were so friendly, my kids loved the pool , bouncy pillow , play area and ice cream hut and arcade. The manager Joe was friendly and welcoming , we enjoyed an awesome concert !

Not big rig friendly. Entrance not at all up to expectations for a KOA. Office checkin surrounded by hodgepodge of rental campers modular residence, etc. Impossible to pass campers checking in. Just wait until they finish. Narrow interior roads made negotiating turns difficult. Dump station was inaccessible to any rig over 25-30 feet. CG map arrows put dump station on wrong side. Not good!

The people were lovely but the campground is crowded, it appears as though they are still adding cabins to an already crowded space, roads were narrow and with the number of children roaming to enjoy the activities offered it simply felt very unsafe

We were there for the flood Joe could careless about us be displaced due to 3 ft of water all he cared about was the people coming in. Small tight sites, dirty. He moved us 4 times during our stay so the new people wouldn't have to wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!! We lost 2 days of our trip do to him making us move so much. He even made and 88 year old couple move 3 times. Shame on you J

Washrooms were not the cleanist, doors didn't lock properly and the washrooms were a long walk from the sites.

People and staff were nice enough. Bathrooms clean. Sites were very close together so if you would like some privacy this is definitely not for you. We were not at the campsite much as we were sight seeing. About an hour away from Bay of Fundy

The entry/exit to the campground is a mess. Move the rv rentals away from front gate so we can get into the grounds when people are signing in, so they are not blocking the entrance.

Super close to the highway and next to each campers. Very few showers. Showers only have a bench and one hook to put our stuff on while theirs alot more space in the toilets… Husband took a shower one night and their was no hot water. Very disappointing for a KOA

The only drawback is its by a noisy road. Some sites have amazing river views. Bathrooms are large and private and clean

Very unattractive campsite. Wet due to flooding. Had to retrieve picnic table from water edge ousselves. Boards on picnic table rotting. Bought firewood but couldn’t use it because fire pit in a bog created by leaking hosebib.

We had a wonderful time in Halifax. Although we were effected by the flood we certainly made the best of it. The staff at the site were very accommodating and friendly.

The check-in was simple. The sites are in very close proximity to each other - this was ok for us since we spent much of our time exploring the area. Upon entry we noticed the campground is untidy. Several sites (long-term) are very run down with a lot of junk around that you have to drive by to get to your site. Same with garbage drop-off area. None in section "F" where we stayed.

Very poor maintenance. All kind of junk around my site, like old sewer drain, old car carpet, etc. I was place in a very little site for a 32f. Motorhome. Had to cut branches over my motorhome. could not open my awning due to limited space. We had thunderstorm that week end, but what is mention above, was before he storm. I will never go back to that place.

We stayed 1 week after the heavy rains. (250mm) is quiet and has all the amenities. About 30 minutes to Halifax was a nice stay.

Great place to go camping in a cabin or a camper. Wonderful playground and bouncy trampoline, ice cream and a pool. There's also kayaks that you could rent out in the Lake.
