The whole staff, I assume they are all family because they are all so happy. They all take your stay at the Halifax West KOA personally, and truly want your stay to be an enjoyable one. My wife and I like to travel around different sites but we always come back to the HFX W KOA. You can see kids running around and having fun like they are supposed to, but they are not in your face. :)

We had a great time it was our first time there and we had a blast. My son loved the bikes and the jumping pillow. We will definitely be back again

A very charming rustic campground nestled beside the Sackville river. We would stay again if we are ever back in the area.

Joe and his team couldn’t have been more helpful. He jumped back to the office late on a Sunday night because we needed an emergency connection….after we had already checked out. Facility is clean and well run.

Joe at Halifax West KOA is by far the best host I’ve met of any of the KOA’s I’ve stayed at. He was very helpful and accommodating to any and all of my questions. Great guy! KOA is lucky to have him.

This is an overcrowded campground. Rv's, trailers and campers all packed in. Just too many people. Campground looks to need of some repair. Washrooms are OK but somewhat grubby. Probably because of all the visitors crowded into the park.Garbage area is unsightly. After hours noise is not managed and partying going on until 2am. Come on guys you can do better. Not a good stay for us. Will not retur

It was cozy, the fire wood is of great quality and reasonably priced. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Lots to do for the kids!

Park Manager gave me extra hour to checkout. Park has all amenities you would want for a delightful camping trip. I’d highly recommend it for this reason and it’s proximity to many NS attractions in vicinity.

Nice location. Not a luxury campground. However, all essential facilities available. A bit noise due to the passing highway.

Campground itself was fine. But it was the noisiest campground we've stayed at. Very loud neighbors even well after dark.

Never heard or been to this campground before but was so nice and close to town tent lott was very affordable and even the cabins are a very good price will definitely be back will friends and family

Stayed for one night while travelling through Nova Scotia. Pretty campground. Our spot was right on the water. More of a rustic KOA but totally our style. The only complaint we had were the noisy neighbours, but the campground host took care of it for us! We’d stay here again!

We're a family of 5 with a pop-up. It's the perfect place for a getaway - the campsites are very nice and everything you need is either onsite or within a 10-minute drive. Joe was fantastic and definitely takes pride in his campers' experiences. We'll definitely be back.

Who I assume was the owner was very friendly, as was the rest of the staff. Campground was clean and the bathrooms as well. Will definitely return next time we camp near Halifax.

It was a very nice weekend the camp ground is awesome we enjoyed our stay and would return, the staff was very helpful and the grounds were very well maintained. Quiet time was respected by all campers. BUT the price of the wood {$10.00) for our camp fires for a banana box not over filled. I thought was a bit high But during the times we are going throw ???????

We enjoyed the location, close to everything, but the campsites where we were located were to close together and difficult to back into. And having a lawn tractor cutting grass next to us at 8pm at night was very disappointing.

Great place to go camping in a cabin or a camper. Wonderful playground and bouncy trampoline, ice cream and a pool. There's also kayaks that you could rent out in the Lake.
