We stayed 2 nights when sold out for labor day. Very well maintained property with some pluses and friendly staff.

Great campground which is close to a pretty cool swimming hole on the Gunnison River. They have great amenities which may be 50-100 ft from campsites. Tent camping is basically on top of your neighbors but this was no issue for us since this location was just a place to sleep and refit. Spend more time adventuring outside your KOA

Clean, nice facilities. The person at the counter didn't seem to know that you have a dog park but I discovered it myself, lol.

2 buddies of mine and myself came through on motorcycles and needed a place to stay. I had called earlier and I can't remember the ladies name but she was very nice on the phone and very informative on where we could pitch our tents to make us more comfortable when we arrived. Bathrooms were clean. Only bad thing was the dust. Maybe something could be done in that area, some type of coating.

Well maintained camp ground! Appreciated how clean everything was, especially the bathrooms! Had many toddler friendly amenities and free hot showers! Would stay here again for sure!

We only stay at private campgrounds when it's unavoidable because they're usually so crowded. Your KOA was much better than expected. We had sufficient room to spread out, which we really appreciated. We'll camp at your KOA again if we're ever in the area.

Too crowded. Too many bugs, ten site next to swamp. Restrooms closed for 4 hours. Owners very nice. No shade. Airport next door noisy. Will never stay here again.

NIce Campround, staff was friendly, campground was clean. It was nice with all the animal around. Great area.

Very clean restrooms, and grounds. Centralized location in Gunnison area made it easy to visit several desirable tourist attractions in the area. Would definitely recommend highly, and will stay there again if I revisit Colorado! Very friendly, helpful staff!

Warm showers and running water are so nice when camping, the cooktop, power, games and other amenities are wonderful! Wish we would have more space and more privacy

Cute campground with all the animals around. Clean facilities, great people. If I could move this campground closer to me where I could use it more, I sure would.

Everything was going great with my stay, until there was a misunderstanding about the last day. I was informed I had exceeded the 7-Day maximum for a tent site and told I had to leave immediately. It appears that it was my fault but after being at this campsite probably 7 or 8 times I would have liked to have seen them give me some sort of an alternative option. There were plenty of vacancies

Really convenient location to town. You have to like airplanes landing and taking off, which I do. It is not that frequent though. A couple in the morning and a couple in the early evening, and then it is quiet.

We stayed for the July 4th weekend with our 2 children and 2 dogs. The campground was well maintained, bathrooms very clean, and the all grass tent sites were wonderful! My children loved the animals roaming the property- there are a few donkeys, mini ponies, goats, pigs and more. Plus, the stocked fishing pond nearby helped us catch our limit of trout! We will definitely return again.

Whenever I'm staying in Gunnison on one of my motorcycle camping trips I stay at this KOA. I usually tent camp on the bike and I like campgrounds that have grass tent sites. This campground is relatively quiet, plus the tent sites are along a little creek which is a soothing sleep sound. The bathrooms are always clean, although it does take a good long time to get hot water in the shower.

One of the best koa campgrounds we have ever stayed at! The bathrooms are beautiful and so very clean! The campsites are very well maintained and clean. The laundry facilities are amazing! Highly recommend!

We get to this KOA and stay as much as we can!!! Dave is the BEST host in the world, and this space makes memories that you will never forget. Our kids who do a ton of camping everywhere, beg to go here. It's almost magical fun. BEST!!

Really excellent tenting area. Very friendly racoon begs for food in evening. A bit cold at night.

Its December, 2023. Via phone, found out this is a seasonal campsite, no Winter camping. Host was very friendly
