Very welcoming and helpful staff. Wonderful shady, rural location but close to everything. Bring your fly rod for the pond across the road.

We had one of the most pleasant camping experiences at this very quiet, peaceful and unique campground. I loved the animals and was amazed at how calm and friendly they were. My dog even seemed to enjoy getting to know the miniature horses, donkeys, goats and the potbellied pig. The grounds are very well maintained and made a nice place to park and just relax. We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed the animals. It poured rain right when we were setting up and it gets very muddy and floods the store and restrooms. The staff were great and started cleanup asap so it must happen frequently ! Our dog especially liked the pigs!

Very Clean. Poor water drainage. Too close to the noisy airport. Not enough full hookup sites. Caters to large RV's

Very clean and nice grounds, fun to see the animals and the children enjoying them. Quiet hours overnight was observed and appreciated. Very friendly lady checked me in and out at the front desk.

“Interesting” is probably the best way to describe this KOA. The roaming barnyard animals made for a memorable stay (there was a goat outside our RV door in the morning). In addition, almost all the campsites are 100% grass which was great until it rained and our site became quite soggy.

Was very happy to be there. Wonderful spot to relax or venture out to the Mesas or ruins or anything you might want to. Good people at the counter and the men who run the about the campsite taking care of it were friendly and helpful. The fishing is world class and right outside the campground. If you are a trout fisherman,this is the place to be. Check your calendar and go!

The bathrooms were alway so clean. The staff was very helpful at checkout when we needed to buy propane. This stay was our first big trip and we weren’t sure how to purchase the propane!!

Beautiful green lawns, trees, accommodations, and view of mountains makes this KOA special. All landscaping is carefully maintained and facilities meticulously clean. The spaces are larger than typical RV parks. We enjoyed the donkeys, goats, and pigs remarked how well cared for they were. We have this KOA listed in our top 3 favorites among the many KOAs we have visited.

Professionally run, grounds are well kept, and the second wifi tower is much appreciated. The wifi is outstanding. Thanks guys for a wonderful stay.

The location of my camp site grey and black tank dump was too far to reach. I was able to use the camp ground dump station upon departure. Overall a great place to stay, quiet and very clean facilities.

Very beautiful and well maintained park. The grass was lush and kept mowed to a perfect length for walking and relaxing. The constant moisture from the high water table under the grass kept it at a beautiful green color, but did contribute to a high mosquito population. Still worth the stay at the park!!!!�

Clean bathrooms and friendly staff. Don't stay here unless you are ok with free ranging farm animals and horse dung in your camp site. Also had noise disturbance at night when some Colorado hockey team won a game and a bunch of people got on a fire truck and made a racket around the campground. I understand wanting to celebrate, but it's very rude when tired kids are trying to sleep. Won't be back

Very friendly and helpful front desk! Our only issue with our site was that during the night the sprinklers came on and flooded the area where the sewer connection was. We were leaving that morning and it made it quite gross when unhooking and preparing to leave. Sewer connections in most sites look to be at low points, possibly consider raising the sewer connections to mitigate this problem?

We love staying at the KOA in Gunnison. It’s very well maintained, it’s always nice to have grass at your site. All the staff are very helpful and polite. We already have reservations for September.

At the entrance, dodging a dozen or so pot holes does not give a great first impression. Leveling on uneven lawn is time consuming. Confident for visiting Crested Butte, Ohio Creek Road/Pass. Rt. 114 from south is recommended, scenic and curvy. Free roaming goats and ponies were interesting.

This place has a special charm. The firm 2 pm checkin keeps me from using this facility as much as I would like. But other than that we love this place.
