We stayed in 1 site for 2 nights and decided to stay another night. We needed to move to another site which is understandable. The staff was very helpful and kind. The grounds were well kept and we enjoyed ourselves in the Gunnison area.

We enjoyed our stay at the KOA. We were able to check in a little earlier and the staff was very accommodating to our needs. We stayed in the cottage and enjoyed all of the extra amenities. My daughters loved the sweet animals that walked around. We were in awe of the two pigs!! The pond was very tranquil. It was the perfect distance between the north and south rim of Gunnison Canyon.

Once again a wonderful stay at Gunnison KOA! We have been coming here since 2019 and it's just a great place to camp. Many sites with trees, beautiful green grass everywhere (seriously like golf course grass). All the animals are so cute! The restrooms & showers are exceptionally clean & modern. It's so nice to see an owner who takes pride in their campground & enjoys seeing Happy Campers!

Wonderful campground. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Would love to see a dog park or run. They are so animal friendly thought they would have one.

I loved everything about KOA with the exception of the fires at night. The smoke from the fires seemed to blow into our RV and linger the next day. But this is a beautiful and well maintained KOA.

Great place to camp. Large, easy to get into sites. Great staff. And your lawn service, the miniature horses do a great job.

The grounds were very well kept and the bathroom/showers were very clean. There are donkeys, ponies and goats roaming the grounds at will. Our spot was located right by the house at the entrance and we were next to the pig pen which may have been the cause for the amount of flies and mosquitos that we encountered. The fire pit was very small and delapidated but we made it work.

Check in was very easy. The facilities were clean. I enjoyed the petting zoo animals. My one complaint was the mosquitos by the creek were vicious, and the cows that woke up by strolling along the creek were completely unexpected.

I’ve never stayed a a nicer Koa. Nice facilities, very clean, they take pride in the facility and it shows. Super friendly lady at check in. I’d definitely stay again.

Loved every part of my stay. I was ecstatic upon arrival to discover the petting zoo and did not want to leave. The receptionist and Ms. Ellie were so much fun too and so helpful!

I enjoyed my overnight stay at you campground. the few issues I had was the shower I choose was the last one in the row and the water cartridge was reversed and made it difficult to adjust. Also the toilet next to the showers was loose and moving around and back and forth.

This was our second stay at Gunnison KOA Journey and was very pleasant. While we did not use the laundry or bathroom facilities, the rest of the park was well-maintained. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely stay here in the future.

It was very nice. There a few things that could you some attention but overall is was a pleasant stay. Some areas need some cleaning up and the dog park needs a total redo. We checked out the other rv park and KOA was by far much better.

Nice grassy sites that were well maintained. Super clean bathrooms and great showers. Plenty of games/activities at the KOA, and lots of farm animals to pet.

Camp ground was very clean and well taken care of. Sites were very spacious and level. Bonus was the animals at the entrance. Highly recommend this camp ground and will definitely visit again.

We loved our stay at Gunnison! We were on the outer ring, and had plenty of space. THe grass was well taken care of and the campground was impeccable. Clean restrooms, plenty of activities for kids (fishing, playground, petting zoo), and close to everything in Gunnison and the national park.

Friendly staff, we'll maintained and clean bathhouse!!! We loved there being a wash station and access to water!! Definitely will go back!

I feel we overpaid for our stay in the A frame cabins. While I understand there are plans for renovation, the grounds behind the cabins were rock/dirt with no shade, they are way too close together, and the parking was inconvenient. The airport was noisy, and the women's bathroom flooded due to rain and poor drainage. What I did enjoy about the stay was the staff. Everyone was very kind.

Its December, 2023. Via phone, found out this is a seasonal campsite, no Winter camping. Host was very friendly
