Friendly, helpful staff; for both onsite stay and local attractions. Well kept campgounds (but a bit rough around the periphery). Nice pond. Game room could stand some attention/rehab. Delightful collection of rescued farm animals to feed. WONDERFUL dual (2G + 5G) wi-fi networks...a very appreciated exception to the typically terrible wi-fi in most RV parks!! Highly recommended.

We have been camping in our Casita trailer since 2007 and have stayed in many RV parks over the West. The Gunnison RV park is by far the best. Sites are surrounded by a mowed lawn and are far enough apart to be very comfortable. Very high speed wifi works from 3 small towers around the park. Several very friendly domestic animals wander around. We saw 14 species of birds in the tall cottonwoods. T

We loved Gunnie KOA. The park is clean and tidy. The restrooms, showers and laundry facilities are clean. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The ownership maintains donkeys, goats & pigs that are friendly and offers a unique experience compared to a typical RV park. The goats and donkeys roam the park but mind their own business. The park has great views of Hartman Rocks & a cow field.

Kanin was nice, could use different mattresses, very uncomfortable. Everything else was great! Sue one of the camp hosts was super helpful and nice!

We only stay at private campgrounds when it's unavoidable because they're usually so crowded. Your KOA was much better than expected. We had sufficient room to spread out, which we really appreciated. We'll camp at your KOA again if we're ever in the area.

We loved the animals! The staff were fantastic and friendly. Facilities were exceptionally clean. Definitely a would -visit-again campground.

Nice spacious campground. Neighbor had 60 foot dog run chain which is too long. Neighbor shortened chain only cause I asked and only when I was out. Bathrooms were clean and well kept. We will come back next summer. Zoo animals were a nice distraction. Trees provided shade for the heat of the day.

Out of everything during our stay we had one bad experience, that was the day we checked in! They knew we had a tent & they were watering our spot so we had to actually leave &come back later and the ground was still wet but it worked out eventually! Most of the staff were super friendly! One was not as nice to my teenage daughters! Overall wonderful experience!

Great WiFi. Clean. Pleasant staff. The petting zoo animals roaming the property were cute and friendly. Loved the green grass in the camp sites.

The location was great! The fishing pond across the street was a wonderful asset. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we were in the area!

We called Friday afternoon to say we would be arriving late, the girl on the phone said no problem … didn’t ask our name or anything but we gave it to her anyways. We then arrive at 10:45pm and had to call the emergency line as no key was left for us. We then received just the key… no info, wifi info, parking pass. Was very disappointing. Enjoyed the location otherwise.

Too crowded. Too many bugs, ten site next to swamp. Restrooms closed for 4 hours. Owners very nice. No shade. Airport next door noisy. Will never stay here again.

Very clean restrooms, and grounds. Centralized location in Gunnison area made it easy to visit several desirable tourist attractions in the area. Would definitely recommend highly, and will stay there again if I revisit Colorado! Very friendly, helpful staff!

Without doubt one of the best KOAs - and best campgrounds overall - we’ve stayed at! The staff are all helpful, friendly, and work throughout the day to keep the campground as neat and tidy as possible. Then, as an added bonus, there are the various animals - goats, donkeys, ponies, horses, and even pigs - kept on “Dave’s Farm” on property! Such a pleasant surprise…
