The absolute best KOA!!! I am a fan of animals!!! I felt like a kid at a petting zoo!! That’s the place to be for me! Gunnison is so beautiful and the weather is amazing!! I will recommend this KOA!

Great park. Loved the roaming farm animals; they really gave a special charm to this park. The staff are all very personable and friendly too. Best of all, the wi-fi is great and so is having beautiful grass at all the campsites; thanks Dave!

Enjoyed our stay there. Our site was large and grassed. The grass was wonderful after staying in parks with little or none. Unusual in that it has goats, miniature horses and donkeys, pigs and a lamb! All were very tolerant of our 2 cocker spaniels. Only down side was that the park roads were gravel and dusty. They did run a water truck though that helped. Quiet. Would stay again.

Was a quick stop between Ouray and the Front Range, but it was a nice site, very clean and kept up. There looked to be a lot of fun stuff to do in the campground but we didn't have time to explore.

We had a good weekend there. The people there was very pleasant and friendly and helpful. It was easy to get in and out. Really enjoyed seeing the animals.

Lovely setting with scenic views and lots of shade in the main section. Lots of long term folks here, with well maintained sites. Navigation into sites and through the campground is impacted negatively by large rocks on corners and near the individual sites. Park is very clean and neat, with clean bath facilities. We enjoyed the quietness of this park, and convenience to I-25.

We love the owner, Dave Taylor who takes really good care of the property. He has a lot of farm animals for the kids.

We have been KOA'ers for more than 25 years and around the country. This was by far the nicest and most friendly KOA yet. What a real TREAT! We'll see you again soon.

Facilities are clean , grounds are beautiful with some friendly animals roaming around to say hi. Definitely staying here again next trip to Gunnison

This is our favorite place to stay whenever we come to this part of Colorado to visit my Aunt. Absolutely love Dave's Zoo, especially Jenny. Thank you for everything, you got us in one spot and were able to work things around to where we could stay put for our entire stay.

The camp sites were to small. I was on top of my neighbor on my backside. But it at least it had some grass.

Clean, quiet, charming -first night stayed in our tent then liked the area and this KOA so much we booked a cabin - simple and spartan but worked great for us with nice kitchen area close and warm clean bathrooms. Friendly office. And the addition of all the adorable farm animals was so fun! Would recommend highly

Clean and quiet. We went there to relax, and that is what we did! We stayed in a kabin, it was perfect. Restrooms were very clean also. Great place to stay and relax. Alot of shade trees too

2nd year we have stayed at Gunnison KOA. Love it! Great campground and facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. My daughter LOVES all of the animals that she can play with and the playground. Easy to access and nice camping spots. Will definitely be back next year.

Best KOA we've stayed at yet! Beautiful camp area, close to town, very quiet even when full. Cottonwood trees provide awesome shade.

We spent the summer with these folks and have nothing bad to say! They have a plethora of sweet animals on site to entertain (donkeys, goats, pigs and miniature horses) the donkeys wander around campsites for pats and carrots! Grounds (nice grass) and sites are super well maintained with no issues! Hookups and water pressure are spot on! Book reservations…they stay full! We will be back!

Absolutely awesome place! Staff were professional and friendly. Grounds were tidy and clean. They watered the dirt roads daily to keep down any dust. Grass was soft on the site itself with grazing donkeys that are adorable. We will definitely stay again.

Great campground which is close to a pretty cool swimming hole on the Gunnison River. They have great amenities which may be 50-100 ft from campsites. Tent camping is basically on top of your neighbors but this was no issue for us since this location was just a place to sleep and refit. Spend more time adventuring outside your KOA

WIFI was one of the best I've seen at a campground. Local TV reception was great too. I picked up 10 channels. Very well kept grounds/facilities and friendly staff.

Nice, well-kept campground. Close to the highway but you feel like you're out on a farm - love the ponies that live there! We were just there for the night, was a nice place to relax and enjoy the surrounding areas.

Its December, 2023. Via phone, found out this is a seasonal campsite, no Winter camping. Host was very friendly
