Our stay was nice, they are big rig friendly and were very accommodating. They have a cowboy BBQ in the summer and it was outstanding, we had the half rack of ribs and they just fell off the bone, they were served with your choice of two sides. My only complaint was the park was a little noisy due to the small planes that flew over at night.

Love the park and the great service. Don’t like the late checkin time!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your feedback. Our check in time is 1 p.m.? What check in time is more feasible? We have an 11 a.m. check out time and it takes us 2 hours to get the sites ready for our next arrivals. If the site is ready we have allowed check in earlier than 1 p.m. Safe travels.

I guess I'm out of touch with the current cost of camping, but $72 for a night in the desert is making me re-think whether I should continue RVing. It's a decent campground but the office is only open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. They are definitely not using much of my $72 to pay office staff.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We currently only have enough staff for those hours. If we had known there was a guest wanting to spend more time in our office, then the 8 hours we are open, we would have made arrangements, as we know our office staff is really cool to hang out with. Safe travels and thank you for your feedback.

Very well kept and clean. The trees were a little on the sparse side but I'm sure they will grow out by next season. Very nice people and helpful. Thank you.

Our stay was short but very nice and comfortable. We will be returning in October and we can't wait to get there and spend more time. This KOA has a wonderful, helpful staff. See you soon.

Wonderful managers and staff. Small town location to chill out. Clean park, level sites, quiet. Was easy to get to Moab and ARCHES NP easily and avoid crowed other locations. Thanks for having us.

Level site! Park looks a bit rough. Dead trees all around. Lots of tree limbs on the ground. Lot of cleanup needed.

Stayed 4 days. We have a 39ft travel trailer, the spot was a pull-thru with full hook-ups. The a few good places to eat Tamarisk Restaurant the entrance to the KOA. Ray's Tavern is downtown Green River. Across the street is the John Wesley Powell River History Museum. Arches National Park is about an hour away. Crystal Geyser may be a 10-20 min drive

Bathrooms were so clean and the shower was so hot! Beautiful scenery and stars at night. Site staff was friendly and showed us to our site even though we checked in after hours. Would stay again!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at your park. No issues at all. We had a pleasant overnight stay on both occasions.

Nice staff and campsites but more trees would be nice. Very accommodating.

Except for the price, play ground & pool not reflective of name Journey parks. Nearby State Park beautiful, large sites, on golf course, quiet and $30/ night lower.

Nice pool and good restaurant, Tamarisk, within walking distance.

Staying at the Green River KOA was a great experience for me and my family. The staff was extremely friendly and out going. If you can judge the commitment of the staff by the quality of the pool then the staff of Green River is the best. We traveled through 8 states on vacation: Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Colorado and Oklahoma. This was the best pool.

Nice park, friendly staff. Only negative was their dryers didn't dry the clothes, however the manager reimbursed us for the money we spent on the dryers

Kudo’s for the AMERICAN FLAGS at each site, and open acknowledgement of Veteran contributions. Exceptionally clean and well maintained venue. AND, the staff, welcoming, helpful, considerate, professional, efficient. Highly recommend!

Very friendly staff. Also very accommodating. Changed our space so we could be closer to the bathrooms. And bathrooms were very clean. Campground was clean. Very nice KOA.

It would be nice if there were tree and the dead ones removed.

Bathrooms and showers need attention, we were not able to use the showers. The whole campground looks shabby and unkept. If a bit more effort was put into cleaning it would be a nice place to stay. I highly doubt we would stay there again.

A lot of nice improvements since we were here last. Campground very quiet.

Nice, courteous staff. The bathroom and shower area is nice. The area is very clean and pretty. The showers definitely need curtains. Help to stop mist getting on clothes and would help so people outside the stall couldn't see in.

Overall a nice campground. About an hour from Arches, Canyonlands, and Goblin Valley. Feels more remote and quiet compared to Moab and closer to interesting places in the “Swell”. Stayed 4 nights in 2 adjacent camping cabins. The cabins were clean and the beds were comfortable. The mattresses on the full beds looked new. The staff were friendly and responsive to issues that popped up even after hours. The thermostat on our heater broke and a new one was placed in our cabin the next day. Unfortunately, there was no hot water one of the nights because the gas company damaged the gas line at the campground. Not the fault of the campground but a few dollars off one night would have been nice. Went to bed dirty but not a big deal since we were camping anyway. The campground is undergoing upgrades with a new shower house on the way. Currently, they still use the one by the office which is dated but clean. The playground was removed for the construction, but the city playground is just minutes away. There was more to do in the area than we had time for and we would definitely stay here again.

Awesome spot to rest and recharge on your way to Moab and Delicate Arch. Prices are great. We visited March 2024 and they have a brand new bathroom and shower facility opening in a few weeks. I liked the turf by our RV pad. The park is well managed and clean. Shout out to all the staff for helping us. They are top notch. Can't wait to return!
