I cannot say enough about the staff. Our dog went into emergency surgery, and they let us take our time leaving our spot and let us put our trailer on the side. Additionally, they said if we were gone because our dog was kept for a few days and needed someone to get her, they would be happy to. Unfortunately she passed away, but we will remain grateful to the staff!

The staff here are lovely. It was such an inviting place. The area is clean, there is an informative walking trail, fresh cookie at check in, pancake breakfast in the morning. There general store had everything you might need and the laundry room had multiple machine. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Very friendly staff and very efficient. The food available on site is a sheer pleasure after a long day of travel, and delivered to your site, too! Love the "journey" designation for KOAs.... a quick and safe place to stop while on the road.

This is our absolute favorite KOA and we’ve used KOA in 90% of our travels across the continental United States. They staff are beyond friendly and helpful and their dinner delivery is not only convenient, it’s delicious. We also loved the free all you can eat pancake breakfast. I was fascinated by the touchless machine. We love the nature walk with the signs explaining the area’s features.

We were only at Grants KOA for a single evening. The checkin was easy and they provided fresh cookies for each of us. Our specific spot was a little odd in setup from what we have experienced. We had to pull our truck up really far for the electrical to reach. We were impeding into the traffic pass through area.

greeted warmly, very clean, interesting place in regards to the history of the lava flow there, as well as the ice cave and other attraction in the area.

The people were very friendly. Bathrooms were very clean. Sites were small but level like most RV parks. The scenery from the campground was great!

We always stay at koa's. The kindness and compassion shown to us especially on this day was awesome. Our dog came up sick and required emergency care and we were given recommendations and shown compassion during this difficult time. The owners and staff at this site was so friendly and welcoming. This site was so well kept and beautiful. We will always stay at this site during our travels

The lady in the office was super friendly. Campground was fine for an overnight stay. Love the dog park. We would stay there again.

Stayed one night. Easy on and off highway 40. Pull thru site was long enough to stay hitched. Quiet. Food was amazing .very nice staff. Bathrooms clean.

I think it is pretty new. In 10 years when the trees get bigger, it will be pretty nice looking. Still, it is level and everything worked. Wifi good.

Surprisingly nice. They had a beautiful nature walk through a lava field as part of the KOA. The KOA Cafe/Restaurant delivered meals to site. Facilities and sites were new and well kept.

This is an amazing KOA to stop on a long road trip. Super clean bathrooms, the pull-through camp sites are spaced remarkably well apart, and there is a really fun "historical story time" trail nearby to walk through with a dog (leashed) and learn more about the area's history.

Best KOA stay we have ever had! The host knew about an accident that kept several guests from arriving before closing and stayed open a little longer to help make sure we arrived safely. They even had a hot dinner available to order and delivered directly to our site while we were getting set up for the evening.

Too noisy nights with the horning trains and trucks.Prices in the shop a lot higher than any other Koa.Staff not very welcoming compared with the other Koas we stayed in.Trash containers full and even overflowing.We stayed there 5 nights.Charged $20 for the choice of our site instead of $10 announced in an e-mail..Too high AC in the restrooms.

Fantastic little corner in Grants! We rented the RV since we couldn't pack for camping on a larger scale. We were met by Kevin at check-in, he is a gem! Wonderful, clean RV that was turned down for us with all the amenities. They have a neat pancake maker setup for breakfast and we enjoyed going each morning & we were always met with happy helpful staff! Met the owners of the locations and they both are wonderful people who know how to run a Kampground! Highly recommend if you need a stay while traveling through the area

Great camping spot for your road trip. This was our first time at a KOA and we were impressed. The tent spot was comfortably wide enough for our rig with the RTT open and room to sit and enjoy a campfire. The staff were so friendly, almost like family. The dessert, delivered to our site was great and there was coffee in the AM. The restrooms were wicked clean. We will be back. A great stay!

Great overnight stop near interstate 40 in Grants NM. It appeared to not have any permanent campers but it filled up with one night rv campers on a Monday night. Clean laundry, well stocked store, play area, free pancake breakfast and also offers cooked meals. Very friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend this park
