Cabin Reviews

May 19, 2014
My only suggestion is that you invest in a portable ramp for handicapped, wheelchair bound campers. The cabin was good, clean and the heater worked well. Might get a little larger one.

Love staying at this KOA, the closest to the Canyon, we have stayed every year for many years. This year the administration were neither friendly or nice. None the less, their lack of personality or friendly smiles does not tamper with the joy of the camp ground and the beauty of the Grand Canyon :)

The campground was lovely and clean. The wind might make me think twice about staying again.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your comment about our lovely campground! The seasonal wind is a challenge sometimes but it will never take away from the beauty of Northern Arizona.

We had an awesome time, loved the Kabins and the people that worked there were great and friendly. Look forward to my next trip to KOA Grand Canyon/William AZ.

We didn't have much time to really see the whole campsite. We were out a lot and had to leave a day early due to personal needs. The cabin we stayed in was clean and well kept though, the bathrooms were clean and the employees were very friendly and helpful.

We appreciated the hot pancake breakfast served on the weekend (especially since it was snowing outside).
Apr 28, 2014
disappointed the hot tub and swimming pool were not usable. also not all showers were functioning properly. if we are ever that way again we will most likely stay in the other KOA near Williams.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you, we appreciate your comments. Because our pool and soaking tub are outside, these two amenities are seasonal as advertised on the KOA Website and Directory and our Guest Services Guide. Please join us for the season re-opening of both May 15th, 2014.

We mistakenly went to the North Rim of the GC, Which was cloaed, so had to drive about 300 miles to the South Rim. This was after driving and hiking Zions. The 24 hour check was awesome because we didn't get there until midnight. They left a porch light on and the heater was on so the cabin was warm. The bathroom were so nice and clean. Awesome!

Love love love personal bathrooms! Staff very courteous and friendly! Thank you! We appreciate you!!

The full sized mattress NEEDS to be replaced as it has no real cushion left in it. It is obviously old and flattened immediately when we laid on it. Otherwise - the place was GREAT!!!

This was my first time ever staying in a KOA and I was very impressed. Cabin was extremely clean when I arrived, which was later at night. They had kindly turned on the heater for me so my cabin was nice and warm when I walked in since I happened upon the Grand Canyon on a very cold week. Bathrooms were very well kept also. Would definitely recommend this site, especially for families!

We stayed in the cabins. Nice, clean and close to the bathrooms. Like all koa cabins we have stayed in the mattresses could be a little more comfy, but over all a good stay.

If you want to stay at an awesome place that is centrally located this is the place! We stayed in the cabins and loved it. Short trip to the Grand Canyon, Route 66, and so much more. The staff was awesome and the facility the cleanest I have ever seen. The bathrooms were spotless. We checked out the RV sites while we there since we normally are RVers and they looked great. We will be back!!!

We stayed 4 nights in a 2 room cabin. My only suggestion is that the restrooms are cleaned more frequently.

The place looks great, very clean and well maintained. The staff is competent and courteous. I had to extend my stay and the staff was very accommodating. I will certainly will try to stay again, despite the long distance from home. Thanks

Williams is a great little town. The KOA is very well kept. It's a little far from town. The pool and hot tub were not open during our stay. There was no "security" after hours. Once the shop closed for the night, that was it. Nice showers and restrooms. Very clean. Kabins are well cared for with bbqs and fire pits.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for staying with us during our Fall season. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. Please consider staying with us after mid May when our pool opens for the season and full campground amenities are available.

Stayed two nights in the Kabins during a family trip to the Grand Canyon, couldn't be more pleased with our experience. The whole camp is well kept, and the Kabins were very clean. Our dogs loved the Camp K9 park where they ran around off leash and played on the obstacle course. Loved the coffee bar and the super friendly staff. Also got the Kabins buy 1 night, get 1 free!

Had great time in the area and at the koa the people are very friendly and helpful if you are looking to camp while seeing the grand canyon and other surrounding sights I highly recommend for you to stay here,it is less then an hours drive from the grand canyon, walnut canyon, sedona, and Flag staff. The town of Williams is a quaint Little town with the historic route 66 running though the down town
