This was our first visit to a KOA and we loved it. Espresso bar! Dog play area was great. Kids had fun in the pool and hot tub. Cabin was clean and as advertised with nice porch swing. Hot food was reasonably priced and large portions. Manager was VERY nice and helpful with Grand Canyon visit. Would absolutely stop here again.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We had a blast with you too! Thanks for staying with us and we welcome your next stay.

We always have fun when we stay at a KOA. Although the WiFi never works at anyone we stay at.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Your frustration with camping WIFI has prompted the management, at the Grand Canyon KOA, to add more repeaters to enhance the campgrounds overall WIFI service. Signal strength has improved dramatically. We are continually working to improve all services on the campground. Thanks for your comment.

Everyone was friendly and polite. Very clean. As my first KOA stay, I felt very safe and comfortable. Our dogs enjoyed the Kamp K-9, which was also very clean. Thank you for a good first experience.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

With so many furry friends traveling with their humans, camp K9 is a welcome pet playground after spending so much time in the rolling house. We know, and are so happy to provide an off the leash area for dogs of all sizes. NO LEASH, WE ARE FREE TO EXPLORE! Yeah!

It was OK and the staff was helpful, but the Kabins are crammed too close together and are too near the highway and the Shell station next door (which started blaring music at its gas pumps at 6 a.m.)

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Grand Canyon/Williams KOA. Area was well maintained, cabins nice, the staff was friendly and helpful.Smores around the fire pit was fun, especially since there was a fire ban that weekend. All in all a great stay!

Le site, désertique et près de la route 64... Cela fait un peu comme camper dans un stationnement

Stayed there for 2 nights in a 2 bedroom cabin. Although it was end of May, we had rainy weather and got rather cold. Staff is very nice and friendly. I'd love to come back one day. Drive to Grand Canyon is about 35-40 min.

We stayed in one of the cabins and it was delightful! We could only hear the intense wind outside and didn't feel any draft. General Manager was helpful and super nice. Will definitely stay here again.

They made it very easy to check in and check out at odd hours so that I could make the most of my trip. The cabin was great.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

HI, Our night registration board makes coming in at odd hours so easy. Late in or early out, never a problem!

Très bonne organisation, malgré notre arrivée tardive, les clés nous attendaient pres de l'accueil. Les cabins sont charmantes, les sanitaires sont bien entretenues et chauffées. merci koa wiliams

Very nice. Just wish the coffee bar was open earlier! Thank you!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our coffee bar is open with the office; however, our Kowboy Cafe' is open for coffee at 7 am. We have a great breakfast menu, too. Try our Lucky 7 at 7 menu served daily thru Labor day.

The cabin was nice, and we especially enjoyed the porch swing. The personnel was very helpful and accommodating. The bathrooms were clean. It felt good to be standing in a shower that seemed very sanitary! It was a nice quiet place for relaxing and resting at night.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our staff works hard to keep our bathroom that clean. We are grateful you took the time to let us know that you appreciate our efforts.

My only suggestion is that you invest in a portable ramp for handicapped, wheelchair bound campers. The cabin was good, clean and the heater worked well. Might get a little larger one.

Love staying at this KOA, the closest to the Canyon, we have stayed every year for many years. This year the administration were neither friendly or nice. None the less, their lack of personality or friendly smiles does not tamper with the joy of the camp ground and the beauty of the Grand Canyon :)

The campground was lovely and clean. The wind might make me think twice about staying again.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your comment about our lovely campground! The seasonal wind is a challenge sometimes but it will never take away from the beauty of Northern Arizona.

We had an awesome time, loved the Kabins and the people that worked there were great and friendly. Look forward to my next trip to KOA Grand Canyon/William AZ.

We didn't have much time to really see the whole campsite. We were out a lot and had to leave a day early due to personal needs. The cabin we stayed in was clean and well kept though, the bathrooms were clean and the employees were very friendly and helpful.

We appreciated the hot pancake breakfast served on the weekend (especially since it was snowing outside).
Apr 28, 2014
disappointed the hot tub and swimming pool were not usable. also not all showers were functioning properly. if we are ever that way again we will most likely stay in the other KOA near Williams.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you, we appreciate your comments. Because our pool and soaking tub are outside, these two amenities are seasonal as advertised on the KOA Website and Directory and our Guest Services Guide. Please join us for the season re-opening of both May 15th, 2014.

We mistakenly went to the North Rim of the GC, Which was cloaed, so had to drive about 300 miles to the South Rim. This was after driving and hiking Zions. The 24 hour check was awesome because we didn't get there until midnight. They left a porch light on and the heater was on so the cabin was warm. The bathroom were so nice and clean. Awesome!

Love love love personal bathrooms! Staff very courteous and friendly! Thank you! We appreciate you!!

The full sized mattress NEEDS to be replaced as it has no real cushion left in it. It is obviously old and flattened immediately when we laid on it. Otherwise - the place was GREAT!!!

This was my first time ever staying in a KOA and I was very impressed. Cabin was extremely clean when I arrived, which was later at night. They had kindly turned on the heater for me so my cabin was nice and warm when I walked in since I happened upon the Grand Canyon on a very cold week. Bathrooms were very well kept also. Would definitely recommend this site, especially for families!
