Wild Horse Golf Club
Gothenburg's Wild Horse Golf Club is an 18-hole sandhills style course that was rated 21st in the nation in 2005 by Golfweek Magazine. Call 308-537-7700 for more information.

Antiquing
There are many antiquing opportunities in and around Gothenburg. There are also a number of auctions going on throughout the summer. Ask in the store for information about both.
Fishing
Gothenburg is a great area for fishing. There are many places to fish, just ask the staff for a Nebraska fishing guide. You will need a fishing license to fish, but don't worry because they can be purchased in the KOA store along with night-crawlers.
Shopping
Central Nebraska has many shopping areas of both the usual and the unusual kind. There are malls in both North Platte (25-30 minutes) and Kearney (50-60 minutes). There are also some more unusual shopping opportunities:
Ten Thousand Villages: Located in Kearney, this store has intriguing creations that are hand-crafted by skilled artisans from 30 countries. Purchases made help craftspeople provide food and education for their families.
Cookbooks by Morris Press: Located in Kearney this store features cookbooks from all 50 states. They are one of the nation's largest publishers of cookbooks.
Cabela's: Located in Kearney this retail showroom houses a wide variety of outdoors equipment. In addition there are also lifelike displays of trophy animals and fresh-water aquariums showing the area's fish.
Fort Cody Trading Post: In North Platte, Fort Cody sells western souvenirs. The Trading Post also features the Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show in Miniature.
