A blanket of trees sweeps across the rolling hills and mountains that surround this KOA, making this a scenic stop that's especially glorious in the fall. This quiet Ozarks campground offers long pull thru sites with cable TV, Wi-Fi and the equipment and place to wash your rig. Relax at the pond with your fishing pole, take a paddleboat ride and feed the friendly ducks. Swim in the saltwater pool or lay out and tan. A playground and basketball court add to the fun. Fort Smith National Historic Site showcases 80 years of America's westward expansion and includes the remains of two frontier forts. Bird-watchers like the walking trails along the Arkansas River. Shop Victorian Van Buren's crafts or antiques and ride the Scenic Ozark Railway. Attractions include a Civil War cemetery, golf courses, wineries, a trolley ride.
